Stopped in after visiting brothers 3 pool. I had never been here. Inside is really nice to have dinner with full bar not like the fake Vietnamese take out. Ordered to go the chicken wings and a steak banh mi . It was delicious. The friend chicken wings was super crispy and lots of flavor. They even pack the food to go in an insulated bag. Will definitely be back

Bone marrow I devoured . Sorry lol
    Kaivona P.

I ordered the Pho Ga with thin noodles and added Bone Marrow as well. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was my first time having bone marrow so I was a bit nervous. I scooped it out and into the broth and it added such incredible depth to it. I can't wait to try other items on the menu. Side note : when you order delivery, they add helpful instructions as to reheat! It made such a difference . Very thoughtful ! I appreciated it

Box shrimp summer rolls came in

I am very glad to have found a good pho spot so close to home! Quaint little spot, inside had a good amount of seating and a very warm atmosphere. My experience here was with takeout. First thing you will notice is the ruby crab box. Certainly confused as to why they use another restaurants take out containers but ok no biggie. Sticky ribs - seem like they were steamed first then maybe hit with the broiler before being glazed in secret chili sauce. They had a decent amount of moisture, the tops had a nice texture and the sauce was yummy Shrimp summer rolls - good flavor. Well executed. Not sure about the mango in there. Peanut sauce was good but a little too thick and certainly not enough of it for all the pieces. The everything pho - Super Bowl they called it? But yea it's got everything. Meatballs are delicious, beef pieces are great. Let's keep in mind the food is not meant to be in your face. The flavors melded well together. Main reason for the 4 stars is, it didn't deliver to what I have grown accustomed to as being top noch pho. Worth noting, their hot sauce is very clean. I'm surprised by this, suggesting they use good ingredients. Overall it gets the job done well while not being the best ever. I will certainly return and try other portions of their yummy menu

    Wide noodle kept breaking
    Michelle D.

We ordered Uber Eats... Doesn't taste like Vietnamese pho ga at all. This was chicken broth..... I asked for wide noodles and it kept breaking on me. The chicken tasted like someone just put Maggi soy sauce, msg, and a baking soda in it to marinade. Like one piece of basil too.

Dear Management, I am writing to submit a formal report regarding an incident that occurred on Friday 5/22/26 during an online order pickup at Lau Vietnamese Pho. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was already prepared and placed in the bar area. An employee asked me for a "number" without providing clear instructions or assistance. The communication was unclear, and I was not properly guided through the pickup process. During the interaction, the employee's tone was rude and unprofessional. I was left waiting for approximately ten minutes while my order remained on the counter in the bar area. As a first-time customer, I found the experience disappointing and not reflective of acceptable customer service standards. I am submitting this report so the situation can be reviewed and appropriately addressed. Sincerely, Yajaira Delgado

Update review: I went again today despite my less-than-stellar experience because I saw on socials that they were having these crazy daily deals and for Mondays, they were offering some of their pho for $6.99, the price pho used to be when I was a wee lass. Jackie (?) was both at the bar and serving as it was quite crowded (probably everyone else heard about these deals). She apologized profusely for us waiting a little bit as a result. We kinda knew what we were going to get (cheapest pho on the block) but I perused the menu and saw they also still carry their lunch and dinner specials. I got the pho tai because I am a sucker for that rare beef slice. My brother got the pho ga. The service was almost a little too impressive this time, as our pho broth was poured table-side from a big carafe. Pho broth was not super, super beefy but I did notice significant improvement in flavor that I think was largely due to better saltiness from fish sauce. I also found the veggies a little crunchier than last time, though the sprouts did have that strong sprout-y taste as a result (I liked it, my brother didn't). The pho ga was super interesting as the chicken was served roasted and on the side, like the marinated pork in pho soon. I'm used to seeing it come shredded in soup, but I thought it was a nice presentation. Overall, everyone at this restaurant were working their butts off for a Monday lunch service, and the extra effort from our server Jackie (?) was very much noticed and appreciated. You really can't beat the price point of these random deals, and I left Lau Vietnamese feeling very satisfied with noodles and hearty soup to sustain me on a rainy afternoon.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Great lunch specials and delicious food. The service is amazing. Local spot near my job, so it's a great place to sit down for lunch

Food was delicious. The restaurant itself is "hip". Our server was very efficient and pleasant. The pho soup was flavorful and there's a choice of thicker noodle which I prefer. We ordered a couple of pre fix meals and it was plenty of food for a large appetite. The meat eaters loved the pork rib appetizer. Fall off the bone goodness with South Asian sauce. The summer rolls were not shy of basil and were crispy chilled. We would definitely go back when the dmv isn't open. This would be our new go to Vietnamese restaurant.

Yummy! Lau is located next to the Bethpage DMV. Parking is plentiful. They had a dinner special which included an appetizer, entree and dessert for $29! Had the Bun bo hue - delicious! 10/10 - the broth was the right amount of spice and light bone broth! Mango shrimp salad was good. The dressing was very creamy. 8/10 Pistachio cake was fluffy - 8/10 Chocolate trilogy cake was very good. It had some type of chocolate mousse inside the layers 10/10. They also have a full bar! Service was great. Always checking up on us without being overbearing! Overall would def come back to try other things on the menu.

Popei's Clam Bar - Bethpage…read more Stopped into Popei's for a little Sunday Funday and was actually surprised by how empty the restaurant was when we arrived. We had a 4 PM reservation and were greeted right away by a very nice hostess. One thing I immediately appreciated--the TVs! The NFL game I was watching only had a few minutes left, so I was able to catch the ending before getting down to business. Our server, Gaby, was great. Funny, outgoing, attentive, and had excellent communication with us throughout the meal. We shared a few laughs along the way, which always makes for a better dining experience. Now let's talk about the mozzarella sticks... Our son decided to give them another shot. The last time we were here, we thought they were just kind of average. Today was a completely different story. Perfectly fried, great flavor, and an AWESOME cheese pull. Huge improvement! My wife and I shared the onion rings, which had a nice thin batter, were perfectly fried, and were absolutely delicious. For entrées, we went with a burger, skirt steak, and snow crab legs. The burger was very good, the skirt steak was again very good, and the snow crab legs tasted fresh and were delicious. Even though it wasn't crowded when we arrived, the inside still had that lively, welcoming atmosphere that we've enjoyed on our visits here. Overall, another wonderful experience at Popei's Bethpage. Good food, great service, plenty of laughs, and definitely a place we'll continue coming back to. And Joe R. -- you're a man of your word! You said you'd step up those mozzarella sticks, and you absolutely did. Well done, Popei's. Another enjoyable Sunday Funday!

The staff was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. They made us feel welcome and were happy to answer questions about the menu. We went for the all-you-can-eat buffet, and it was absolutely delicious! The seafood was noticeably fresh and tasty -- crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and a great variety of other options were all well-prepared and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh, not frozen or overly salted like some buffet places. The sides and accompaniments were solid too. For the quality and unlimited seafood, the price was very reasonable -- definitely one of the best budget-friendly seafood options on Long Island. Whether you're craving fresh seafood or just want a fun, satisfying meal without breaking the bank, I would highly recommend Sexy Crab. Great spot for families, couples, or groups. The fried calamari and jalapeño appetizer was delicious, except that I got more rings than tentacles. I would have preferred half tentacles/half rings, and there was a little too much breading for me. I also ordered the tortellini en brodo with some pancetta thrown in. I sprinkled some grated Parmesan cheese and fresh ground black pepper on top, and the flavors melded beautifully. I enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my meal: Primitivo Di Manduria, Carlo Sani 'Oro' Riserva, Puglia. It is a full-bodied Italian red wine with a flavor profile of red jam, dark fruits, chocolate and spice--up my alley! I enjoyed it so much that I plan to buy a bottle at the first liquor store near me that has one for sale. Alex was very nice and accommodating, and the restaurant was clean. I will be back.

Hawaiian Kitchen, based in Bethpage, absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli. If you're looking for reliable catering that people will actually get excited about, I can't recommend Hawaiian Kitchen enough. THANK YOU for making me look like a superstar! We will definitely be ordering again! PS - they are a small, family-owned business, and I love supporting businesses like that that really care. Give them a try!
