I'm a professional contemporary modern dancer and I've been dancing my whole life. I've had a torn meniscus that's been bothering me for at least two years. Dr. Ninh cleaned up my knee and I have to thank him for the incredible job he did. The incision marks are small and clean and I don't anticipate any issues with them. But most importantly, I'm able to do the simple things with my knee that I haven't been able to do for years. I read most of the other reviews before posting mine, and I must say, I had a very great experience here. The biggest downfall this office has is the wait time, but compared to another orthopedic office I went too (which was awful, by the way), the wait time seemed pretty aligned with how many patients go to see an orthopedic doctor. Mind you, some people can have very in-depth issues and I appreciate that they took the time to explain things to me and communicate and made me feel like a person and not just a number in line. You'll most likely only see the doctor/surgeon for your first appointment and surgery as he splits his time between two offices, as well as days performing surgeries. Thai was the PA I worked with and he is very kind and has a positive personality. I really like the front office staff, they are polite and also communicative, respectful and helpful. Doctor Ninh performed a carpal tunnel release on me as an outpatient surgery and I've been healing great and thus far, have minimal scarring. I'll be retuning to this office in the future for my other hand and any other needs I may have for orthopedics. Highly like and recommend! read more

Today I had a change talk to Linda for my mother about the office manager we got done miss understanding cleared and she was very healthful. The office I want to complain on my mom behave is the office of Dr Son Duong same building an office manager name "Camelia" was a very hostile most horrible office manager I have ever been experience in my lifeThe Doctor himself I am sure is nice as my mom have her surgery back in 2020 with another Dr in Son Duong office and it was nice. My mom is a diabetic patient and also a cancer patient with knees and vein problem and we are a medical family so we know how to treat people with respect! Our experience at this office has been nothing short of exceptional. My close relative, a 90-year- old man, had been having a lot of pain both in his knees due to a car accident. He had been treated at another doctor's office for almost a year, but the conditions had not improved much. My relative could barely walk. We then did a research and decided to go to Dr. Ninh for help, and this turned out to be the right decision. After receiving some treatments and completing physical therapy sessions at this office for several weeks, his pains are now completely gone. My relative can happily take a long walk now. Was playing basketball in a Sunday league when all of a sudden I heard a pop in my right foot. Immediately, I thought...Achilles. I was probably hurt more thinking that I wouldn't play basketball again more so than the pain itself. Anyway, got referred to Dr. Ninh from a buddy who had his knee surgery there. I know how doctor offices can be so when I called the office, I asked for a day/time of the week when it was the least busiest. Got into the office and was greeted by the girls there. Very friendly and explained all the insurance coverages. Was able to get in and didn't wait too long to get an X-ray done. After that, they moved me to one of the rooms. Dr. Ninh came in a few minutes later and reviewed the X-ray. At that point he determined that an MRI was required. He explained the situation and the options I had. Answered all my questions. He tends to speak 90mph, so you'll have to ask him to repeat something if you missed it. The girls in the front set me up for my MRI. After getting the MRI, did the follow up at which that time I had a partially torn muscle under my foot. Dr. Ninh explained everything I needed and the office equiped me with a boot and even set me up for PT next door. Overall, the experience was personal, the staff and Dr. seemed to know what they were doing. It was good being able to have one office handle everything from start to finish. While the busy can get office, plan strategically to find appointments that are on off hours. read more

This is the worst I have been treated by an office in my entire life. I wish I had checked the reviews before going there. I had a knee problem and I was in pain and I could not walk. The offfice did not follow up on my RMI refferal, I had to call back and ask them to send my file for days. Than after I had the MRI done , they lied in my face twice: they said they don't have any openings before 2 weeks and all the openings on ZocDoc are for new patients only! Also, they first told me that the Imaging Center will take 1-2 weeks to send them back the report when it onlly takes them 24-48hs at the latest. Could not say much about the doctor since he did not even talk to me for that long. Overall these poeple don't seem to care that I was in a lot of pain and they think it's ok just to let pacients waiting for weeks before getting any kind of care. read more

Dr Ninh and his specialists are FANTASTIC, professional, kind hearted, and overall amazing!! I fell off my motorcycle in April 2020 and destroyed my shoulder (rotator/labrum) in every single way a shoulder can be, aside from it being severed. The following month Dr Ninh performed surgery on me. Within 6 weeks I was able to swing my arms this way and that, up and down, i was swimming, holding my toddler son, stand up paddling and getting stronger each week with the necessary PT. His front desk MA's Mindy, Linda and Sylvia are always absolute dolls, very helpful and overall someone you can always look forward to greeting you at your every appointment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Ninh to anyone needing operation work that has a personal passion and need for active sports and activity in their immediate life. And by the way. I am beyond frustrated with their office right now. I saw the PA for a medication refill and some injections into my knee! The PA was awesome and super nice. She told me they don't refill narcotics unless you've had surgery so I said OK and she put in a referral for a pain management dr. The front desk girl said they will submit my AUTH and it will be approved soon, which was fine. Only thing I was out of my medication waiting to hear about my AUTH so I could make an appt. I called them last Friday at 1. Which was 18 days after my 'AUTH' was put in. They call me this morning (Monday) Melissa says 'I don't see any auth in your file what was it for?' I told her she says 'oh sorry it was never put in' ITS BEEN THREE WEEKS! they left me high and dry on my medication. I told her 'you need to put it in STAT' she says 'I'll ask the girl' I said NO you're putting it in stat. This office honestly doesn't give two shits about you, all they want is money. I'm so tired and frustrated after more than a month trying to call this office to make a simple appoitment, i was refered to Dr. Ninh by my primary Dr. I dont know what is the point of having an office phone when i been calling since Feb. & it seems like no one ever pick up the phone. I left them over 5 voicemails but they never call me back. I even mentioned on the voicemail that my approval paper is gonna expire in April & would like to have them call me back ASAP. Finally, today i called early morning & left another long voicemail telling them to call me back for appt. They finally returned my call around 3pm. I was asked rudely by Ms. Andrea or Sandra "whos this?" She didnt even introduce me her name or where she calling from. I quickly replied in case they hang up on me "yes, my name is..." She raised her voice "what !?? Who r u !??" I said i need to make an appt. She didnt even let me finish my sentence yet, she transfered me to the automatic system without notice me, i called back right away & just like many times before no one pick up the phone. I'm now request my primary Dr. To refer me to another Orthopedist. If Dr. Ninh still keep these receptionists, i'm sure he will close his business soon since no one can ever make appt through these careless, uneducated & unprofessional receptionists. read more

I had my first hip surgery full replacement -It went so well that I decided to get the second one done and scheduled the appointment three weeks after my first hip replacement. Dr Ninh explained everything so thorough to me and made me aware of absolutely everything going on. His staff has been wonderful all the way through. Before I went into surgery I could only walk half of a block and now I'm able to walk normal. It feels like a miracle that took place that I'm able to walk normal now and without any pain. Dr. Ninh has got to be one of the best. I was in a car accident last year and shattered my knee cap so bad that he said it was basically like powder. Somehow without replacing my knee he put it back together and cosmetically it looks great. He is also one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. Pros: I like their automated appointment reminders. Makes sure that you don't forget your appointments. Therapy is right next door. X-rays and scan are downstairs. Cons: On certain days, all you get is voicemail when you call the doctor's office. The receptionist are terrible in returning the calls. Doctor is always in a rush to get you out of his office. Also he doesn't like you asking questions and doesn't like to hear your opinions. I get that we don't have a medical degree; however, it is our body and we sometimes know our body better than the doctor. Let us finish what we have to say instead of cutting off our sentence to tell us a textbook answer. Be more compassionate and even if you don't care, pretend to. read more

Dr. Ninh is one of my favorite doctors. He has performed multiple surgeries on my husband and I. We have been seeing him for six years. He replaced my knees and the incision is by far the smallest and nicest I've ever seen. I really appreciate that he didn't use staples as it made for nicer scars. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to my other difficult health issues as well. He also replaced my husband's hip and it went so much better than we expected. I would give him more than five stars. I'm really disappointed to see bad reviews regarding his staff as I've always had the best experience with each of them. They have helped us with insurance issues and always are polite and friendly. They are people just like everyone else and we all have bad days, but I've never seen it interfere with the quality of their work. They are wonderful to work with. read more

I had a knee surgery in August, 2017 for meniscus tear. Dr. Ninh said it would take 6 months at most for full recovery. However in April 2018 I still have pain and a lot of swelling. When I saw him today for a follow-up, he said I have to have another surgery to remove the remaining tear. WHAT??? Every time I complained about much pain and swelling which significantly limited my mobility, he commented as if I was exaggerating, by saying that everything was normal and looking good. He did not listen to the patient and ignore as much as possible what she was experiencing. Now, after 8 months from the surgery, he says I need another surgery. Just an awful and frustrating experience! Due to the fact that my husband has cancer and a heart issue, I am very use to dealing with specialists so I have many points of comparison. It was very difficult to make an appointment and be seen. They often do not answer the phone and it does not go to message. If you do get a person and leave a message, there is no return call. I decided to see the Physician's Assistant just so that I could get in sooner but it still took a while. I was not impressed with her depth or breath of knowledge although she was nice. She asked me questions, but there was not manipulation of my hip to help determine issues, which I expected. Authorizations take a long time as they do not send them out immediately unlike my primary doctor. In the meantime, I am in a lot of pain as I assume all his patients are. I had the recommended MRI, but don't expect a call stating that the results are in. You must follow up. Upon my return visit, I specifically, ask to see the Doctor but it was the PA who walked into the room. Her review of my MRI report was brief. Luckily, I had a copy of it so I could ask questions. The report referenced possible vascular disease and a need for an ultra sound so I brought it up. Seems important, right? She said I needed to talk to my primary doctor. I immediately contacted my primary doctor. When my primary doctor's office called Dr Nihn's office, the office assistant said there was nothing in the PAs notes about it. Just sloppy. I am sure they are nice people. They are accepting more patients than they can handle and the office can not keep up with the volume. A 2 two and a half hour wait in two separate waiting rooms plus the little examining room is just crazy. I am NOT happy and I will be letting my primary physician know that he should not refer to this office! read more

Difficult to make an appointment and be seen. Unbelievably crowded office lobby - overbooking and the doctor seems extremely rushed. Office staff is so nice even though they have tons upon tons of people there for appointments at the same time - standing out in the hallway and laying on the chairs moaning and groaning in pain. I had surgery and didn't feel like the doctor cared and following surgery, he doesn't listen to patient complaints and has no bedside manner. This is a great staff, everyone is very helpful especially Julie who put a cast on my broken leg 2 separate times. Julie has given me lots of helpful tips as to how to take care of my cast. Also, Julie called the insurance company for when I went from the cast to the walking boot and Julie called me back keeping informed about what was happening.
