Warmly greeted as I walked in, I was informed that the shop was under new ownership and to ask if I needed any help. I asked if they had any dollar boxes and was told where they were. Dollar boxes sorted by team, what could be better? Time flew by and I actually came back after my appointment to continue looking. Ended up buying over 100 cards! Lots of graded cards, vintage, and unopened boxes. They also had a large collection of signed memorabilia, Star Wars figures, Matchbox cars, and Starting Lineups. Store is still in the process of being "set-up", but it has plenty of inventory already out to keep you occupied. Prices were on par with most other shops I've visited. Employees were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back for sure.

The manager even went above and beyond by offering me a discount and some extra goodies for my son, which absolutely made my day--he's going to be so excited! I was a regular of Bonanza Comics until recently, when the family that owns it decided to finally retire and close shop. Sean was very helpful in setting me up at his shop and goes above and beyond to help me find the things that I need, or want. I, originally, was going to give only four stars based on the fact that they do not have a large selection of older comics, but the customer service and knowledge I have experienced from Sean and his wife, in the short time I have been going there, has earned the five stars alone. The selection of trades and current run issues is fantastic. If there is ever anything that he doesn't have in stock they seem very willing to try their best to get it for you, if you just ask.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. I won't be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store based on my experience.
