It was such a pleasant surprise that there were things in the shop for everyone in the family!! I got some pins, one daughter got amiibos (sp?), and one got a Cat Noir doll (she was thrilled). But my husband was the big winner with his haul of Atari cartridges-they are vintage but I think all of them have worked after being cleaned. He and the kids were up until after midnight playing Casino (?)...anyway they were laughing and having a great time and a a lot of it is down to the knowledgeable and cool people working at the store who were a lot of fun. I will gladly spend money at a store that is locally owned and promotes a welcoming vibe. So excited to go back! Great value too-they were happy to make deals on the cartridges and on my Dr. Who trinkets-not expected but appreciated!!

We were helped out by David who was really cool about it being so close to closing and even stayed a bit after to talk with us about the game and its potential and popularity. The product was set at current market so we picked up two booster boxes. We couldn't wait to get home so started ripping packs in the parking lot and wouldn't you know it pulled a signed card! Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. I won't be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store based on my experience.

Feels great to finally find a game store that still cares more about the customer than ripping off normal people.
