Considering these controllers are over 20 years old it was expected. We did some research and decided to bring our controllers here to get some attention. We were given a quote and dropped off the controllers to be looked at. While we were there we had so much fun looking at all the retro games, consoles, accessories and cards that they have at the shop. Everyone was really nice, helpful and welcoming and we were really impressed with the whole experience. They ended up calling us a couple days later to let us know the diagnosis for our controllers and what they'd be doing to fix them up. The final cost was below the quote and we're so happy to be able to play some classic games with our well loved controllers again.

I came in and it was super dirty and cluttered. Cobwebs and boxes overflowing everywhere. Their pokemon guy said he could look at the cards and price them out for me but only priced the top three cards I had and said "The rest of those cards I have at $5 each." Some were $5 but most of them weren't I had IRs and rainbow gx cards in there. He also actively looked for the lowest sold for my Mewtwo and mew Gx card and told me the best he would do is $100. Everything else added up to $90 so he told me I could have $190. I didn't accept and later sold the exact same cards to another shop for $420. Ziggy himself is very nice but their Pokemon guy, I believe his name is Jayden is a scammer. The last thing I have to say is that he tried charging me $300 for a Perfect Order booster box because he said "Any packs less than $10 is a deal." Perfect order booster box market price is $210 which is about $5.83 per pack. Absolute scammers.

I called them as I live in Merced and was not going to make it back out to Modesto within the 7 day return/exchange period. Diego said since I contacted and stayed in touch he would accept my return or try and clean up the disc when I came in. When I did make it in after cleaning the disc a scratch remained and he recommended that i try their sister store utopia down the street since he did not have another copy. I found it at utopia and ended up getting the zombie version and red dead two also. I went back to return the copy I purchased from laughing crow but asked if I could exchange it for some enamel pins and cleaning the discs I bought instead of a refund since utopias disc cleaner wasn't working. He was pleased with the idea and we agreed on that. My experience with this store has been positive and it's clear this business and its workers stand by their product and their word. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. The issue was not a big deal, almost expected, but what was not expected was how much the employee was able to help. Feels great to finally find a game store that still cares more about the customer than ripping off normal people. These guys are great and the prices seem pretty reasonable, especially compared to other places.
