I've been coming here and maintained a monthly membership for probably 4-5 yrs here. the girls they have working there now are so rude. didn't used to be that way. I work 2 jobs and run a household by myself so a lot of times I come in close to closing time cause that's the only time I can get there. I did some rearranging and was able to fly and get there at 11:54 yes they close at midnight I've apologized over and over I hate running in last minute but tonight they wouldn't open the door for me and was rude as hell. it wasn't midnight. I use spray tan and do it properly 2 maybe 3 times a month and pay 78$ a month. no that's really the point but definitely should be able to come in and tan no matter what time as long as it's before the actual closing time. another lady in parking lot told me they've had the door locked for almost 15 min. their attitudes. It's not glamorous but it gets the job done and nicer than some other laundromats I've been to in Louisville. Tons of washers and dryers so chances of at least ONE being available is high. Today I think was an exception because they had several out of order. Fairly clean facility with an ATM and change machine as well as soap for sale in case you forget to bring yours. Washers seem to wash well and dryers are great for the price - only have to add as many quarters as you need instead of a minimum price. Dryers can fit two loads of laundry. They have free popcorn and coffee for customers but I have not tried either so I can't vouch for it. Also have not used the tanning portion so cannot comment on that aspect either. They have free WiFi so I usually get some work done while I wait for my laundry, and Quills is across the street to satisfy your coffee needs. Wash is $2.00, dry is .25 cents for 7 minutes. I usually only need two or three quarters for the dryer. read more

I have shared/coin laundry in my building, but I prefer loading up my car and doing my washing here for several reasons. First and foremost it is exceptionally clean here and the employees are continually mopping up and wiping down to make sure it stays that way. It's not too expensive, they have free wifi, it's easy to change bills for quarters, there are several big folding tables, they have an old school Ms Pac Man/Galaga arcade machine, and the staff are friendly and helpful (when it's quiet they'll even turn down the blaring TVs if you ask nicely). Cons? The dryers are not great at catching lint/hair (complains the cat lady with long blonde locks), the aforementioned blaring TVs, and the overpowering florescent lighting. Admittedly the last two are plusses for some people. And it can get very busy. I try to roll in on off hours, but I was here on a Monday night recently when it was packed and people were pretty selfish about the folding tables...using them as desks to work on their laptops/tablets. I asked one of these guys if I could use the table for, you know, folding and he grudgingly surrendered half. (They're called laptops, buddy!) This is more a beef with humanity than management, but it would be nice if they put up a sign or something. Did I mention they have a fresh popping popcorn machine? I have no idea why we always end up here. It is always crowded. Inevitably, there will be several washers and dryers out of order. Someone will let their kids drink concentrated sugar and then run amuck through the place like chattering, sticky, snot-covered little chipmunks on crack. There will be at least one person washing something that shouldn't go in a washer (a carpet, a llama, a nuclear reactor) who gets all pissed off when the washing machine starts smoking and clanking. People who would normally be perfectly polite will turn into snarling hyenas when the last available dryer gets snagged by the bimbo in yoga pants who will put in enough change to run the thing for ten minutes and then leave to get dinner with her meathead boyfriend. But, there's free wi-fi, burnt coffee, and stale popcorn and the staff is pretty patient and reasonably reactive to pleas for help. There are tanning beds on the other side but I've never felt the need to be irradiated while my dirty underwear are getting un-dirty. read more

I took my comforter to be washed. Luckily didn't have to wait for a washer or dryer. I had so many questions since I had never had to wash anything at a laundromat before. They were so patient and graceful helping me with each step. Everyone in there is busy doing their own thing. Lots of TVs and FREE popcorn!! My wash and dry was $7 I think? Easy in and out. Our building doesn't have washers and dryers to share, and Boyfriend and I are cheap and won't buy our own. So, laundromats it is. This is the best one I've found in the area so far. It's very clean for a laundromat. It's connected to a tanning salon, so the whole thing smells like clean laundry and cocoa butter. Yum. They provide free coffee and freshly popped popcorn for customers. There is also free WiFi that actually works consistently. If you only brought twenties from an ATM, you're in luck, as they provide machines that will break bills into smaller ones, so you don't end up with $20 in change to use. Their washers aren't bad. They have digital timers on them and I've never had an issue finding some that work. The dryers aren't the best. I always find that the lint and cat hair on my clothes never comes off. It gets pretty crowded sometimes, so I'd recommend getting there during the week if you can. Be very mindful of where you put your wallet/purse here. While it is a nice place, some seedy characters wander in. My wallet was stolen right off a table--one of the employees pulled up the surveillance footage. This is no reflection on the business--it happens, especially when the place is crowded. read more

I've been in the parking lot waiting In My car for 30 minutes now after they have advertised they open at 7:00 AM.

As I was doing my laundry I thought I was going to have a heart stroke because the air conditioning is out and I was t told that it had been out for days I seen other people suffering as bad as I was if this is the way he runs his business then it's a great place to go sweat a few pounds off and don't even try tanning with no air conditioning you can't even breath while lying in the bed this place really needs to pick up it's game and stop slacking and get things fixed as soon as they break or he has no business owning one or maybe he is waiting for a law suit when someone does fall over from the heat I know if it's me I'm calling my attorney right away I give this place -0 Stars read more

I went and did my laundry. When my clothes were done washing I noticed that they didn't smell clean. I told the woman working and she said that since she didn't see it wasn't soaping up that she couldn't do anything. If others are anything like me they throw their linen in the washer, set a timer and go relax. Well don't do that until you know that it is working properly. I'm never going back because this isn't the first issue I've had with their machines though I've caught it in time. $20 down the drain. Do not give them your Credit Card info if you want to use the tanning services. I was a customer for several months and in October I decided to end my membership since summer was over and I no longer wanted to tan. Was told by the customer service to cancel before the 15th of the month so the money won't be taken out of my bank account. I came in a couple days before,canceled and no problems. Cut to January 2021 and $48 was taken out of my account even tho I canceled months prior. I went into the location to find out why this happened. And could not get a straight answer or apology. was told "we can't do anything about it" They wouldn't even let me tan even though I unwillingly paid for the service. I'm very upset over this unethically and unprofessional business This is not the first time shady things have occurred. One month they double charged me and they couldn't even explain why. Management just gave me excuses and the run around, hoping I would drop the issues. Very suspicious! I am good friends with a former employee there and I am not the only one this has happened too. I have never had to go to the laundry mat before moving to Louisville, this is new to me. Laundry connection was my second place to try and I won't try another! It's very clean, service is great and friendly, up to date, and I felt safe! BONUS: There's an attached tanning salon-genius! I was looking for a tanner to go to and there I have it. At first I was in love with the tanning beds and prices.....until I called to down grade my membership and was told I had to come in...that I couldn't do that over the phone which I was told I could when I joined. I've been going here for months because it's really close to my house. The first few times I went to tan and dry clothes it didnt seem to bad, but then I would have to clean my own tanning bed because the workers didn't clean them, most the time they was walking around on their phones, outside smoking or goofing off. The other side of the laundromat was not taken care of either. They weren't helpful at all and very disrespectful. As one woman ask me how the "FUCK" I have a job because all of my tattoos, the same woman who always came onto me every time I came in even after I told her it was inappropriate to do so. Lastly I just wanted out my tanning so I canceled it but when I went back 2 months later after I seen they have all new ppl working and they told me it was never canceled and wanted me to pay over a 100 because of they didnt take time to do their job and cancel it 2 months prior. They do have some of the best tanning beds around and that's why I wanted to go back there but when I asked them to call the owner to speak with them about the situation they got rude. I also think the owner is great for giving some of these women 2nd chances but they are making ppl want to go somewhere else due to their rudeness, lack cleaning.
