They have great oversized washers for king size duvets that will not fit in a normal washer. $10 a load but less expensive than dry cleaning and it is San Diego after all where everything is expensive! Love that I can park right in front and quickly get my blankets in the door without a lot of effort. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I came to wash blankets. I used the app to pay to wash 3 blankets and sheet sets. I didn't know that it charges you more money depending on what water temperature you choose. I pay for washer #15 and #16 through the app and added a .25cent manually bc I chose warm water. Both washers started at the same time and provided a count down on the app. After the count down was completed. I noticed that washer #15 didn't wash my blankets at all but #16 did. I notified the worker and she advised that she would have to call her manager. She calls the manager and the manager accuses me of lying about the washer. I truly have no reason to lie about rather or not if the washer completed a cycle or not. I then had to repurchase a wash for the same blanket again. Although the manager gave me money back after she called me a liar it's the simple fact that she would think someone would love to waste their time, energy, and laundry soap at the laundromat. I love this place have been coming here for years but recently the new atended has been extremely rude. She told me that I am only allowed to use one cart for my clothes; mind you I am only using one cart. I also hear her go off an a lady saying that she wasn't allowed to use to cart for her clothes that she is only allowed to use one. She too was only using one cart. The other cart, the attendant was talking about, belonged to another person who was waiting outside while their clothes finished washing. This new attendant is rude. They lost a set of grey queen size sheets and refused to do anything about it. I've used this place for a couple of years and never had this happen. No one has returned them, but it seems it was a sloppy service to not even give any kind of gesture for losing them. Lesson learned, inventory everything you send in and see the inventory is right when you leave. Thats sad as it was convenient to home. read more

Normally I wouldn't give a 1 star unless the service or establishment was really awful. I'm an essential worker and worked all night and got off in the morning to do laundry to save time. I went and got change at this establishment and was ripped off when my washing machine was eating my coins despite the 5.75 sign above the machine. I told the attendant that the machine stole my money and she stated she needed to call the manager who's name I guess was Jury on her phone but no answer not even a call back. I just hate when places that know the machines are taking people's money during a time like this and then try to cover it up like they are doing all they can do which is nothing. The attendant there never getting a call back (at least that's what she said not sure if I believe her) I told her to open the machine since I know I'm one of the first people here this early in the morning to see the correct amount was out in but she said she didn't have access to do so...... I added more coins to just wash my comforters as I'm so tired and can't get my money back and soap and fabric softener have already been added to the front loaders. Imagine being a healthcare worker standing on your feet all night and just wanting to wash my sheets and comforter and go home to go to rest just to be ripped off. Could they have at least gave me free dry time?? I won't be back!!! If this is your nearest laundromat, Go else where or just throw your money away. Horrible, rude customer service, multiple broken machines, and many of the dryers will take your money and "run" but don't spin so your clothes just sit in a pile. The woman working wants to leave at 9pm on the dot so she kicks everyone out before closing so she can clean and have everything done before closing. I came in to wash at 730pm, unloaded my clothes and then stood holding the door for a girl leaving. Doing this caused me to walk back in at 732pm (laundry was already inside and ready to go), at which point Elsa wouldn't let me start my laundry because it was after 730pm. Apparently helping out a young girl struggling to carry her items in the dark was the wrong thing to do. I'm confused... the washer cycle is 25 minutes, and then 30 minutes to dry. That would put me out of here well before 9pm. I understand that the sign says not to start loads after 730pm, but to not allow a two minute grace period says a lot about this employee and the type of business that is being run. I would take your business elsewhere. read more

I just got my wash and fold order back. The clothes were folded well and the value was great. However... My shirts smell like someone who had BO all over their hands folded them after they were dried. They appear clean but they definitely smell like nachos were used as a dryer sheet. Strongly advise against coming here in the evening hours. I noticed a large homeless population right outside of the building, including one woman who was checking various machines and acting strangely. When I turned my back on my washer (my fault), she stole all of the contents. The attendant was kind, but noted there are no cameras and nothing she could do. Felt very unsafe and sketchy there. Again, I suspect it could be a better environment during daylight hours. read more

Although it'd been adequate-to-satisfactory for awhile, the care and attention to detail I've seen since Daniel started working there has drastically improved. While I hope all the employees are receiving an inflation-adjusted, living wage, this guy seriously deserves a raise. read more

Picture it: You're in the middle of doing your laundry, the dryer buzzes to let you know your clothes are dry and ready to be folded, and you open the door only to find...your clothes are just as wet as when you put them in! Perplexed, I set the dryer to a different cycle, hit start, then stepped back to observe. Yeah, our dryer was broken. Lucky for me, it's a rental in our apartment, so I could call someone in to have them fix and/or replace the damn thing. Unlucky for me, I was stuck with a load of jeans that needed to be dried, a load in the washer, and one more basket of clothes waiting to be laundered. One frantic phone call and Yelp search later, we pull in to the parking lot for Midway Coin. That parking lot...beware. It's super wonky - and people seem to have problems pulling into stalls correctly, so you may have to circle to find a spot. The laundry mat itself was surprisingly busy for 7pm on a Thursday night. Despite that, there were more than enough washers and dryers to accommodate everyone. They have one large folding table, as well as a couple of benches and several tables with chairs at one end. There were even a couple of arcade games at the back. The place itself was clean-ish - not sparkling, but not grungy by any means. There was actually someone there cleaning off the tops of the machines while we were waiting for our clothes to finish their tumble. It's good for a pinch, when your stuff breaks on you, or when you need to launder those large items that won't fit in your machine. As for pricing, we put a ten dollar bill in the change machine, and walked out with our pockets jingling. We washed one load in the 2x washing machine, and ended up drying three loads. I'd say we spent less than $8 for the whole thing, but I could be wrong. Sorry - I was too busy fretting over my broken machine at home. read more

I've been coming this this to this location to do my laundry for years. Love the fact that this place is clean, always organized and the attendants are always welcoming and very helpful. But today, I got an attendant that was not helpful at all. I asked her a question and her response was, "yeah, okay," and continues to be sitting down at the desk, instead of being helpful and continued to be on her phone. I asked her another question, she looked up, replied, and then turned her head and continued to be on her phone. Not once was she willing to help me at all. This is a new attendant that I've never seen and as a customer who has been coming here for years, I do not like at all. All the other attendants I've meet here have been nice and always willing to help. This one, not so much. I usually spend about 1 hour to 1.5hours here doing laundry and this new attendant spent, what seemed like 90% sitting down in the office room, being on her phone instead of walking around and seeing if the guests needed help! I hope Jeffrey does some this one this new attendant. I am not a happy customer at the moment! read more

We left our clothes in the wash while we went to wash our car, and the clothes were taken out of the washer. This is so frustrating! I can't understand why people steal wet clothes. Hopefully their guilt overcomes them and they return everything. This never happened at our usual place. I wouldn't trust leaving your laundry for even a moment here. read more

The place could smell better. But, besides that. It's basically a regular coin laundry. The machines are cleaner than other places, and this place has the Single Load Machines for 2.00 a load. Double Loads are 2.50, Triple Loads are 3.75 (I think), and the Giant machines are $5.25. The regular dryers are large enough for two double loads and cost 25c/6min. The giant dryers are 25c/4min. I had a large blanket, sheets, and a bunch of towels in the Giant dryer for 44 minutes. All warm and dry. Standard Low, Medium, High temperature settings. read more

Fairly clean, kind of expensive spot. 6 mins/quarter dry and $3 for a single load wash?! But also $3 for a double wash?? A woman was actively working and cleaning while I was there (good) and she chatted with a regular then a spanish-speaking customer (okay) but ignored the other customers, including myself who struggled getting inside while wearing a baby/pushing a stroller/ dragging a laundry basket- but what can I say, customer service is dead. I like the way that this place is. I went in and asked to have my uniforms cleaned and pressed with sharp creases. When I came to pick up, they were razor sharp. I am use to cleaners pressing your stuff, but then having to go home and re-iron the creases in my shirts so that they're sharper. You won't have that problem here. The staff seems pretty friendly as well. The only issue is parking. read more

The place is clean and relatively inexpensive. They close pretty early, last load at 7:30, which is pretty annoying. Especially if you put your laundry in the machine already and they make you take it out. An upside is the amount of folding space and electrical outlets. There is also an area in the corner for lounging. There are a couple of desks and chairs great for studying or surfing the web. There is also an on site dry cleaner. Pretty good place. Had to go there for awhile while some repairs made in my home. It is very clean and someone is always there to help with any problem.

I came in here right at opening and there was a very sweet lady working. She's was so kind to me and we started chatting. She helped me decide which washer would be best for my sleeping bag since I just got done camping. The place is very clean and she never stopped cleaning the entire time I was there. It has a private parking lot which was nice because I needed to clean out my car from being outdoors. I used a smaller washing machine for $3.00 and it came out fresh and clean. I only needed 12 minutes for $.50 for the dryer. They heat up really good. Overall I am pleased and will be back if in the area. Watch out for men coming up asking for money in parking lot. Park close to the door rather than the grass. There is a bathroom to use for a quarter but if you're really sweet she may let you in. :) read more

They have the nerve to charge you extra money if you're washing your clothes in hot water versus Coldwater etc. and ditching the people begging for money out front was annoying as well. But the location was convenient because I was running errands in that area and needed to wash. I'll probably never go back though. read more

This would have been my go to laundry spot until I realized my money didn't matter to them. I used the drop off service only to dry and fold my clothes because I had an appointment I wouldn't have made if I stayed to dry them myself. When I went to pick up my clothes the next day they were folded very nicely and I thought I was very satisfied however, that evening while putting my clothes away I realized they were mildewed. I went back the next day and left my information for a manager to call and I gave them business once again by rewashing and drying all my clothes there on good faith that someone would call me back and right the situation. I never got a call and I will never spend another dime at this establishment. Very disappointing and as a consumer who works hard for every penny I earn it's a slap in the face to be ignored. I paid $19.46 ($1.25 per pound)for my clothes to be unwearable. If this manager had any business sense he/she would have called me back to right the wrong which would have kept me as a customer. read more

I was literally putting my clothes in the washing machine and someone stole my laundry detergent that was on the ground next to me. This is at 2pm on a Tuesday. I certainly didn't feel safe leaving my clothes out of my sight for one second. When I told the attendants that worked there they said there is a sign that says they are not responsible. I have sent my clothes here to be washed and folded many times. sadly they have begun to steal my expensive clothing out of my laundry. first it was a very expensive waterproof hoodie from australia weeks ago and now i just ordered new clothing from australia and they have stolen my brand new pajama pants. after going back and forth with the manager for entirely too long he denied anything could have been lost or stolen from my belongings and gave me $30 off my last load only to be stolen from AGAIN! theres other reports on here of this as well. dont go here. read more
