It's an inconvenience that the last wash can only happen at 8pm. I wish this place was open past 9pm to accommodate most people in the area.

Edit: I am changing my review from one star to 5 stars because it appears there is new management who really changed the state of things here for the better. THANK YOU FOR CLEANING IT FINALLY!! I could've sworn no one worked at the place before. I couldn't even find someone to talk to about the ants. No more slimy moldy stinky machines, I can't thank thank you guys enough. There used to be a thick layer of dust across every flat surface in there. And I noticed the homeless problem has improved, there used to be homeless people hanging out inside and not even doing laundry. I saw this guy walk in leaving muddy footprints, toss in dirty wet clothes straight to the dryer without washing. Now that there are people watching the place they don't seem as bold. Below is my first review and my unpleasant experience. This laundromat is closest to me and unfortunately my only option to wash my clothes. Does anyone even work here? I don't even know who to complain to about the disgusting state of the washers. Seriously, the machines are so nasty, they have never been cleaned in the last 2+ years I've lived in Linda vista. My daughter recently moved to this area, so I was looking for a early morning/late night laundromat. To my surprise I found this place opened up at 0500 am. Its located in a small mini mall. I came at 0500 am and was very happy to find a very clean tidy laundromat. Decently priced well! The only drawback was the large amount of homeless people hanging about. Kind of torn. While this is a great establishment it needs a bit of cleaning and some help with the machines taking money. Every time we put a quarter in 2 of the machines we had to giggle the return button to get it to take the quarter. The machines work well but show much wear. The place was pretty crowded but there was plenty of folding room and machines to keep things moving fast. Great prices! We were in and out in no time and half the price of our old laundromat! I've always come to this place and every time it just keeps getting worse and worse. There is always if not one a few machines that are broken. The prices keep getting higher. If that's not enough I started seeing roaches roaming around the place. read more

So I was on vacation and needed to wash a load. it was so easy. The washer was $6 abd took about a half hour. A load in the dryer on medium heat was $1. The people were friendly. There's a bil changer to get dollar coins. I was in and out in an hour. No fuss. Parking was a little hairy, but I found a spot on the street. There are little carts available to transfer your loads from washer to dryer and dryer to folding counter. read more

The place you put in your soap is caked with mildew. It stinks, probably from the machines not getting cleaned inside. I would only go here again if I lived near by. I can't speak to the prices, since this is the first laundromat I have been to, but my husband says it is very reasonably priced. Parking can be slightly difficult but there is parking in the back, which most people don't realize. And due to the type of shopping center this is in, cars are constantly leaving so you can always re-park. Now about the facility. It is extremely clean, machines are very well maintained. They have everything from traditional washers, to 8x loaders. There are several benches, chairs, and folding stations, as well as rolling laundry baskets. Plenty of change machines, snacks and refreshments for purchase in vending machines. A small soap vending machine, enough for the basics. There is a restroom on site, and arcade games. Decent place to wash clothes. Clean and not super ghetto. Washers medium loads = $2.25 large loads = $3.25 dryers are 25c per 8 minutes but do a good job. just be careful on the dryers. there are some that the doors don't stay closed and you end up dumping cash on a shotty drier. read more

Pros and Cons is my best way to review this place PROS: -A lot cleaner than most of the other laundromats I've driven by in the area -Has newer machines -Free WiFi -Free charging station for your phone -Arcade games are cheap! CONS: -Machines are more expensive here (per wash) -Limited seating (only about 10 chairs throughout the whole laundromat) -Parking sucks if you're not lucky and get a place close to the entrance/coming when it's full -Opens at 5am (Seriously, who's coming in that early?!) and Last wash is at 8pm -Owner (or operator) does not care if you're washing still, if it's the end of the day, he's coming around and mopping and sweeping shit up right in front of you while you're walking lol Overall, you can tell the guy's trying to make it good for everyone and keeping the place clean, but the two biggest factors for me are the price (higher than most other washing machines) and hours (Having last wash/staying open an hour later would make a huge difference for me). read more

His employees keep the Mat clean. The environment has always been safe. Folks are friendly since I enjoy interacting to share my upbeat personality. I'm unsure about prices here compared to other laundromats. Parking is a hassle. I feel like there are a lot of passerbys and it's sketchy. I would recommend never leaving your clothes out of sight. I have been approached by strangers in this laundromat. It gets very busy at midday so go early so that you have more room to fold your clothes and walk around in general. Me and my family have been doing our laundry here for many,many years. Cheaper than doing laundry at my apartment complex and the arcade games are fun and the vending machines are affordable too. I've been coming here for 15 years. It's respectively clean and affordable for the neighborhood. It's a plus that it opens really early at 5am, but, with all this said, I don't like being rushed out before closing time at 9PM. I understand we all have to go home, but if the business hours clearly state from 5AM-9PM - I don't want to be kicked out with only a few items to fold at 8:40PM. Clearly this lady who closed this place had better things to do and kicked me and a young lady out before 9PM. I wouldn't have mind if she told me she was going to close early, but she decided to that she was going to close early and turned off the lights was the best way to get rid of us. The paid do it yourself laundries in San Diego are few and mostly awful. This one is no exception. They have machines. When I was there recently almost half were defective. I lost money in two dryers, a total of $2.25 and there was no attendant to receive my complaint. A sign offered a woman nearby's phone number so of course I called like an idiot. They never returned the call or offered to recompense. It was still a cheap place, but seating was impossible. No bathrooms so it was basically unsanitary which I could plainly see from the condition of the floors and machines. Did I say it was cheap? Well, nothing is cheap and this was a little like washing in the 20th century. read more

First time washing at this laundromat and overall i think its a chill place to to wash clothes. This place is clean and quiet. There is only two long counters for folding but I had no problems acquiring a place to fold my cloths since I decided to do my laundry in the morning. I have been to quit a few laundry mats though the years,most have been dingy and depressing. Suds is clean everything is in good working order. They have one 8 load machine and several 5 loads mixed in with the traditional smaller machines. The dryer got my big thick blankets dry in less time than I expected. I bring my blankets and mattress pads here every three months. The giant washers and dryers make it fast and easy to wash and dry bulky items. Pro tip: if you put just 1 or 2 items in a dryer and use lots of dryers it'll be over quickly and cost about the same as using one dryer that is jammed full. It was very clean, machines are in good condition and the WiFi is a new feature since last time I was there. Not many people were using it at 9am, but it was as good as my home WiFi. It is my first time here, and it is not as dirty as I thought it would be. I personally think that $7.00 to do a XL load and 25c for every three minutes to dry is a bit overpriced. I needed to wash all of my three heavy synthetic comforters, but my washer and drier at home are quite small for them. I've been coming to this laundry mat for 3 years and I can agree that for the first 2 years and 9 months were not the best in customer satisfaction. I would give it a 2 for sanitary issues. Like it was so bad back then that I actually found a cockroach in the washer with my clothes and I would see them run around from time to time. But for the last 2 months I saw a lot of improvements. They got rid of half of the Druses that wouldn't take quarters at times with new batter working dryers. I have heard that there is batter or meet management. I come in every week and I have defiently seen improvements. They don't have new washers yet but the old ones still work. Cheapest washer is 2.50 then it goes to 3 something. Dryers are like .25 for seven minutes last time I cared about how much drying costs I just put a dollars worth into it on the lowest setting. Still a bit moist but I iron it when I get home. Big washers are 6.00 to 6.50. Hope this helps. Plus there is another laundry mat nearby but its small and a bit of a hassle to get there if you are walking. I personally give this place 4 and a half stars cause of the charging stations and WiFi. read more
