Believe it or not this really is a 24 hour laundromat. I went to one of my favorite ones to try to get my blankets in, but they turned me away related to last call. It was kind of upsetting to me because this was one of the few that are open late in this part of San Diego. Anyhow, I had seen this place on searches before but I thought it was strictly a laundry service. Thankfully it is a 24 hour laundromat and self car wash. You could essentially clean your car. Then wash all your laundry and other stuff next-door. Overall, this laundromat is clean, almost all the machines look like they worked. The staff was very pleasant. The laundry is only usable with a PREPAID card system. Not a big deal if you go there a lot. The initial card is $.99 and then you can put however much you like. There is a special if you buy $20 - you get a bonus of $5. The machine I used was $5.39 so I was still left with a balance of $.62 after everything was said and done. This is a great spot if you need to wash clothes or blankets on the fly in the middle of the night. read more

I've been coming here for about a year because of convenience and it seems that whenever I've come, the washing machines are always broken leaving little to none open. This is a huge issue considering how crowded it can get some days. They'll close unexpectedly some days which makes them seem unreliable. They've taken no action to improve any of these issues. read more

This is a good place to do laundry the staff is nice and helpful only thing is recently when I come in each visit there is more and more machines that are out of service or only have cold water. They have signs saying new machines coming soon. So hopefully it will get better and back to what it was but till then I'll go elsewhere that has a majority of working machines read more

I'm leaving a review because i think it's time someone goes to check on the home ave location! I've been a customer for yearrrrssss! Literally since they opened it. This WAS my go to spot to wash clothes because it was always very clean I loved that they used cards instead of coins!! I also loved there big machines! The last few visits I have noticed a lot of out of order machines but today when I visited literally more then half of all the machines were out of order!!!! It's so sad bcuz I really did love it here but I turned around and left as people where already waiting around for machine that did work! Hopefully this problem is fixed soon! read more

I love to bring my comforters here for washing. The parking is small but they have parking on the side as well. They also own the car-wash next door which makes nice to stall time. I like that it is a cashless system and load money on to a card. Oh and check it out they have deals as well you load so much and they basically give you free money back for using them. The front loaders are clean and the staff do an amazing job keeping up the place throughout the day even the restrooms are clean and smell like bleach and pine sol like they actually clean the place. I thought this was genius to only allow those who have a card to wash... that same card gives you access to the restroom so it's not just anyone walking in. Like any launder service establishment don't leave your clothes washing or in dryer unattended and drive somewhere else. If you have the staff launder your clothing or materials then they are checked in and that's totally ok. This comment is for those who do their own laundry and leave. It has signs that say that they are not responsible for unattended items left in the washers or dryers. I definitely would come back because i like this establishment. read more

CLOTHES STOLEN -- OWNER NO HELP Came here on 8/13/25 because my washer/dryer was out. While folding, an entire load was stolen from the dryer, including my daughter's new school clothes and expensive items (Mother Jeans, Levi's, Lululemon, Athleta, Nike, Armani Exchange, AllSaints, Carhartt, etc.). Filed a police report. Owner only communicates by text and offered no immediate help. This isn't my first bad experience, last wash-and-fold service here, some items were bleached. I do like it here at night. During day time it's rough. Crowded, people take up lots of space and rolling baskets, the machine sometimes eats your money. But at night I really enjoy the quiet and peace of this place. The lady I've seen there has been nice and she's always cleaning so it's very tidy. She's helped me with technical issues too. They don't mind me taking up a bit of space and being very all over when it's dead (that's why I come super late at night, because I have a lot and I can only muster the motivation when my laundry pile is so much I start buying new clothes. read more

I came on a Monday evening and it was packed!! Which is good for business. Anyways, they has different sizes of washing machines and dryers. The largest washing machine can take up to 10 to 12 baskets, but I would say more like 7 to 8 baskets. The staff was friendly and they kept the place clean. You don't pay with money, but you pay with credits. I didn't take a picture of the prices (sorry), but the more you buy they give you extra credits. I will definitely be back. read more

I used to come here back when I rented a one bed room apartment with coin laundry but for some reasons take credit cards thru an app instead, plus their washing machine power were not strong enough. So I found this Pearl Laundromat location, I believe I still have at least 2 more washes with them, not sure if it was cheaper at the time, but I put in $15-$20 to refill my card then just swipe it every time, also they have service that someone will iron and fold clothes for you for a price. It seems to be a good idea at the time, since it's opened 24/7, well I will disagree on the parking situation, because it's not a big parking lot, it splitting between Goodwill and their Pearl Car Wash, its design very hard to get your car in and out, so super tricky on that part. I spend $100's of dollars at the Pearl Car wash next door (same company), I spent $39 today and have the receipt, I needed to use the restroom for the first time ever after coming here for years and the woman would not let me use the restroom, she then wanted to charge me $2 to use it after explaining this. After 19 years my washer bit the dust. Repair man says could take months for parts to arrive from Germany. Comparable machine super expensive. I got on Yelp & Pearl Laundromat came up. Same ownership owns a Pearl Self Serve Car Wash right next door. Great way to do two chores so conveniently. I was impressed by the Continental Girbau washers & dryers. Very clean and I got an extra $5 by loading a card w/ $20. The two ladies who worked today were very nice and helpful. I guess it was obvious I had not been there before. Also open late & will try going later on next time. My only critique is there are not a lot of laundry carts for unloading. Had some things that need to be cleaned early Christmas morning. After checking two other places that were closed Pearl was open! It had been years since I'd been to a laundromat and boy have things changed! Fortunately, there were two very helpful attendants on duty to guide me through getting a card and getting the laundry going. read more

So it's been a minute since I've used a public laundromat. Back in the day the attendant used to be able to stop and restart machines when, we, or in this case, I, forget to set the settings on the machine. So my colors are set to wash in warm water. Call the attendant over and she tells me she can't restart the machine. SHE CAN STOP IT...! BUT I'D HAVE TO PAY AGAIN!?!?!?! The machine hadn't even ran for a minute. This may be true, but this is horrible customer service. FYI: I hold myself accountable for my part... Interesting enough they walk around with their own little cards for their washing service. I didn't think there would be anywhere open at that time but I saw this place was open 24 hours so cool. I got there and it's a nice place with lots of nice and new machines all over. It was clean and not sketchy or anything. The two women that worked there were very helpful and nice too. I decided to just do a few things and leave the rest of the laundry for fluff and fold. I had 10-12 regular loads and just didn't want to do it. I don't like folding. The next day it was nicely folded and packed up for me. It was great! I was in the area on business, and I had not used a laundromat to wash clothes in years. Needless to say I was lost in between purchasing a laundry card, detergent, and selecting which machine was right for me. One of the workers clearly noticed I was having a rough time and came over to offer some assistance. What a help she was! She walked me through the process of purchasing a card, getting detergent, and figuring out which machine would fit my clothes for the best value. So thankful for this place as my hotel did not have laundry located in it and Pearl Laundromat was the only place within vicinity that was opened past 10pm. Worst laundromat. Three workers teamed on one of their customers about not washing enough clothes to be considered a " real customer" to use their bathroom. She even offered more money to use their bathroom. One of the saddest things iv witnessed. I will no longer be giving my business to this company. Great hours if you work in healthcare. Fluff and fold is best in San Diego County and I have tried places all over. For laundry they use a card system and often have promotions. Vending snacks are good. They even have ice cream for the vending machines. Large washers and very clean. Car wash right next door. read more

I would give no star if I could. Wrong water temperature and because it was STOPPED by them to the correct water level. I was charged for a New Wash. It's already bad enough their over charging to dry clothes I will be reporting then to City Council. Dryers should not cost .90cents to a $1.20 to dry for 12mins. I come here a lot and the place is usually pretty busy, especially during sale hours. 11pm-7am they have deals on certain larger load washes and dryers. This place is super affordable and makes it easy and fast to get a ridiculous amount of laundry done. Since it is busy I'd say always stay with your stuff because your cart for laundry will be taken fast. Someone literally walked up and took mine while I was setting up to load things, obviously I let her know I was using it. I also have to say there is a large homeless community in the canyon just behind this shopping plaza so I definitely wouldn't leave your clothes. I have been warned about stealing by a few parties. I do like this place though the workers are nice and I can always find at least a few machines to use. read more

I saw them cleaning each machine by hand, which is very different from other places (ew) Great prices as well. Think I paid like .75 cents of my detergent and $4 for a wash. Snacks are cheap as well. $1.50 monster, jarritos, and juice. Just don't bring any quarters, this place requires you to use a laundry card. The machines only take card and cash. This was my favorite laundry mat until today. Pros: I love the convenience of it being open 24 hr, lots of snacks, ice cream, washing necessities, and the car wash is right next door that you can use while you wait. Never had an issue bringing my dog here. Other customers are generally respectful and friendly Cons: Was always helped by the staff until today. I placed my card in the wash and realized I didn't have the right settings (within 3 seconds.) I hold the stop button and attempt to change from warm to super wash. This is very important due to me and my sons recent skin allergy. I really needed to have the blankets sanitized. I asked a staff member for help and she explained to me that i needed to change the settings before putting in the card. She made sure to emphasize that my card had been charged. The stop button on the machine is more like a pause button. So she asked if I would like to stop completely to change my settings.... but I would have to pay the full amount all over again. I asked her if she could be refund the previous transaction if I canceled this wash. She said no. I looked at the machine to make sure I wasn't going to put my foot in my mouth, Then I pointed out that the water hadn't really started. Maybe a few dribbles at the most. The machine couldn't have been going longer than 5 seconds when I paused it. She stated that because I started the machine that it was going to charge me. I let her know that in the past other staff members have refunded me on my card when something had happened. She kept saying that the card would be charged cause I started the machine. I asked her "so you're going to charge me over $7 when I haven't used the machine? I didn't do a wash. The water didn't even fill up. I only had it on for about 5 seconds." Her response stayed the same. I walked away and continue to turn on my other loads, Then she proceeded to follow me and explain how to use the machine after she had already done that on the first machine. I literally had to tell her to go away and leave me alone after she proceeded to give me instructions when I said I no longer needed her help. It was not necessary for her to re-explain but she already did on the machine I had made a mistake on. I am extremely disappointed that this laundry mat will now charge people for simple errors, even when it concerns the health of my child. It was a simple fix, which I know the staff is perfectly capable of doing but it was out of her personal preference not to assist me. I asked to speak to the manager and she stated that she was the manager. I asked her her name, she told me that I was so angry that I forgot. She is the petite lady with Short dark hair and bangs. If this had been my credit card I would have filed a complaint on their merchant account. Guess I'm going to have to look for a new laundry mat. A laundromat that is open 24 hours?! Sign me up! I'm not too sure why some are complaining about the area... duh, you in the hood! And it is right next to the hood carwash where everyone goes just to hang out on a Friday night with nothing better to do, blasting their music while they hang out outside their car with their friends all surrounding their car. Not that I do, but I have eyes and can see what is going on. So yeah, area is sketchy but just be careful... If you want to go somewhere else that is more boojie, you should go search up north somewhere. Prices are good here and there is a lot of machines to use. Right now that it is summer though, it is super packed at night at about 10 or 11pm, as we all think alike and try to do laundry during parts of the day that are less hot. So, sometimes all the small washers with 2 or 3 loads are full so you might have to wait until someone else is done, but no biggie. Parking also is a hit or miss, as there are not a lot of spaces outside and some people seem to be there for hours. Overall, it is a good spot. Oh, and no quarters!!!! I repeat, no quarters!!!! You simply load your card there (that you get from their machine) with whatever amount of $$ you want. AND there is a deal for $5 free when you load with $20... so spend $20 and get $25 worth. I think there is a deal for $100 as well, but I'm not a baller like that to be dropping $100 in one laundry visit :P read more
