Only parking on roof - elevator out - at least 30 min wait for shuttle to leave garage, women's bathroom locked - men's the worst I've ever seen - booth attendant was RUDE to both us and our driver (booth attendant had long brown hair & glasses) the even though we were running late, we dropped an existing passenger at the bus station on the way to the airport. Needless to say ...flight MISSED! We allowed an hour from parking to airport in order to then arrive at the airport 1 1/2 hours early. UPDATE: we've since learned that the elevator is permanently CLOSED & the landlord will not be repairing it. Coming back to SD, it took the shuttle over 45 minutes to pick us up. read more

When he picked us up from the airport he was again very kind in making sure we were comfortable and offered every person in the van a drop off right to each vehicle. Unlike others on here crying about free services....... I had a pleasant experience with this facility and staff. Mr Randy was a delight. Structure was safe. Duh parking spots will be small so I was ok with that also. All staff was very informative. Had to no wait time for rides in either direction. The walk to the pick up location from baggage claim is not far at all. People need to stop being cry babies. Will definitely be using this facility in the future . Avoid this place at all cost! Elevator doesn't work ( 7 floors). Garage is triple parked in many spots and your car gets blocked in. Shuttle service to airport or cruise terminal is very infrequent. Expect a long wait on either end. Paid for indoor parking. Car was parked on outside top floor for 7 days. On a busy Saturday only 2 employees were working. There has got to be better places in San Diego. read more

Save yourselves the headache and use Aladdin parking located across the street from the laurel parking. After calling for a ride and waiting for 45min. without seeing a shuttle, I stopped and asked the shuttle driver from the Aladdin shuttle if he would give us a ride back, as the laurel shuttle was nowhere to be seen. He was kind enough to drive us back. After tipping the driver and thanking him for his hospitality, we walked across the street to the laurel parking lot, where the guy at the booth apologized for the delay stating there was only 1 driver available. The elevator was also down and had to use the stairs. In the future I will no longer be using laurel parking anymore and will continue to use Aladdin. read more

So I feel I am being generous with three stars and that's only because the lady that helped us when we arrived at the parking lot, and the driver (June 29) were very friendly, helpful and kind. The downfalls though are many, and would warrant a two star review if not for the two employees we encountered on Sunday. First, the elevator does not work. Based on the faded handwritten sign, it has been nonoperational for quite some time and likely something they are not planning on fixing. There is a small waiting area at the bottom so if you're traveling with two or more people, send the most able bodied one in the group to park and later retrieve your car as they'll be taking the stairs. May want to watch what you eat before parking there too as the spots are tight! When we parked it was explained to us that when we return, we can call them when we get to the courtesy shuttle area and the shuttle will arrive in approximately 15 minutes. We called as instructed and waited almost 40 minutes when we called again. The man on the phone made it sound as if we had done something wrong and just not have been in the right spot so that's why we missed the shuttle. He let us know he would send another shuttle for us. But here is where the fun part comes in - 10 minutes after the second call, the shuttle arrived and it turned out the driver FORGOT to pick us up. We were honestly speechless at this announcement from our driver as from what we understand he has one job - drive people to and from the airport! If it were me and I was that driver, I'd be rushing to get the forgotten people back to their car, but instead we were made to wait another 5 minutes for a group that had called a few minutes earlier. It took that group another 5-10 minutes to get to the van, bags in the back and seated so we could go to the parking lot. Needless to say, by the time we got to our car, we could have driven the 45 minutes home. In the future we will park at Wally Park or Aladdin as we saw their vans pass by three times each while we waited for ours. read more

I travel often and always use Laurel Airport Parking, and I always choose the valet service. The shuttle drivers are consistently nice and helpful, which I really appreciate. However, the biggest issue is the pickup time from the airport. Even though the lot is very close, I almost always end up waiting 40 minutes or longer for the shuttle. They use both a small van and a larger shuttle, but due to the delayed pickup even though I arrived on time, I was charged a $20 "overstay" fee, which was very inconvenient. There also seemed to be a lack of communication between staff. When I went to retrieve my keys from valet, they had trouble locating them because one employee forgot to tag them. Overall, the experience did not run as smoothly as expected. Another issue occurred when I called to check on the shuttle. The woman answering the phone was very rude and gave unnecessary attitude when I was simply asking about the pickup time. That was very unprofessional. I've continued using them in the past because I travel often and the drivers are great, but the long wait times and poor phone customer service really need improvement. read more

I called at 1055p, my time out was 1115p, I wasn't picked up until 1110p, but then had to go pick up more people at terminal 2. This caused me to go over my time.....then I get charged an overstay fee of $20 for 19min!!!!! I only paid $65 for 4 DAYS, but it cost me $20 for less than 20min, when the pickup was late and had other pickups!!!! They need to have a grace period if it's going to take them so long to pick up!!! They sat it's 5min, but I've NEVER been picked up in 5min. They've gone to computers now, and the evening gate agent was an A$$. He just said pay or the gate won't go up.....they have a manual override to give that grace period. It's a dirty place, with spots barely able to fit your vehicle, AND NO ELEVATOR for over 1yr, but it is close!!! But this new computer way is F'd up!!!!! I'm going to find a new place!!! read more

We used this parking garage for our cruise, and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. They seemed to overbook, as there was very limited parking available even though we had a reservation. The bathrooms were in really poor condition, which was disappointing. They do offer a shuttle, but the schedule wasn't clear or reliable, which added unnecessary stress to our trip. I have used them 4x's this year when we've flown out of SD. Each time is a smooth experience. The elevator was not working this last time but the driver offered to drive us up in a separate smaller vehicle. We called to let them know we arrived and each time they have been there in less than 15 min. Price is good and so far the customer service is great! My wife and I planned a reunion with my family on 5/7/2026 and return on 5/12/2026. Never, I repeat, NEVER show up earlier than the time you designated when booking your parking reservation at Laurel Parking! If you get there early you will not be allowed into their facility. In addition, plan on their "Free shuttle" to be 1 hour to 2 hours late getting you to the airport. In addition, this garage is disgusting. I asked to use the bathroom. I've never seen or smelled and witnessed a bathroom more disgusting in my life. I'm 67 years old. We missed our flight thanks to these people and their obscene work/service ethic. I now know there is a reason they are the cheapest airport parking in San Diego. On our return, we arrived earlier than our estimated flight time we had designated, when booking the garage. My wife, myself and 5 other strangers agreed, after waiting over an hour that we would never use this garage again. This is way before they finally picked us up. When we finally arrived back at the garage, we, all seven of us, were all charged an additional 20.00 each for being late. If we didn't pay, we were not allowed to leave. Extortion, I believe so... I plan on suing these jokers for causing us to miss our flight and for charging us an additional 20.00 for being late for pickup due to their poor service! This a good service if you don't have anywhere you need to be at any particular time. Positive: The driver did not get into an accident. Negative: The driver took 40 minutes to pick us up. Luckily, there was a patch shade where could wait with a toddler in a stroller and it wasn't too hot that day. Positive: The garage did not burn down and our car was still there. Negative: We could not access our car because of the tight spaces. Luckily, we could crawl through the passenger door and climb over from the other side. Positive: There is a waiting area in the parking structure. Negative: The area covered in grime, so I held my bag and didn't sit down. Positive: We're out of there! read more

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF! DON'T PARK HERE!!!! I came here to park to go to dinner with my family. This is the most narrow parking structure I've ever been in and they have the nerve to double park people's cars right where you drive by to go up higher in the structure. You can barely pass somebody if you're going up while they're coming down at the same time. There were only 2 spots open but I couldn't park there because the car next to it was over the line. I went back down to tell the attendant his lot is full. He said I can valet. I said no I l'd rather not. I don't feel comfortable leaving my car here seeing the way you have people's cars double parked. It took me less then 5 mins to drive to the top and come back. He argued with me about why I have to still pay even though I didn't park there. He said he tried to get my attention to tell me it's for long term parking and said when the arm went up I drove off. I didn't even leave right away because a shuttle was in the way with their back doors open so I had to wait. He never tried to stop me to talk to me. He just kept lying and making up excuses after I told him he needs to put up a sign that says the lot is full and stop ripping people off. He got on the phone and just ignored me and wouldn't lift the arm until I eventually paid. After seeing all these bad reviews how is this place still even open?! read more

first, I am not one to write a bad review. But this Place really, I mean really deserves it. I've used this parking place several times over the years and have always had a decent experience. But let me tell you about this time. First, I want to note that we waited over 30 minutes for the shuttle. No big deal I understand it's a few miles and there can be lots of traffic. All was actually good until we were getting ready to leave the facility. Note: Our plane was also about 30 minutes late so that along with the shuttle wait put us about 15-20 minutes late from what I put on our booking for the parking garage. I pulled up to the exit where a woman was standing in the booth so I pulled up to her like I have always done in the past. She looked at me like I did something wrong then after a minute she finally opened the window and started yelling at me that this is an automated system and I need to scan my code to get out. When I pulled up my booking on my phone my code was gone because the booking was expired because the time had passed that I put on the booking. I apologized and asked if she could help me. She just started yelling at me more that they have an automated system now and all the employees are loosing there jobs and soon there will be nobody there so figure it out how to use the machine. WOW! So fumbling through my phone I finally found the code in my photos were I had taken a screen shot of it before the trip several days earlier. I finally scanned the code and it said I owed $20 for being late. I'm like WTF! So I pulled back up to the window and asked if she could just press the button and let us out like she does the shuttle vans. We argued a bit and I told her part of the problem was the late shuttle too and all the time spent trying to find a code. "can you just do us a favor and let us out?" She started laughing and said that is just a courtesy and we can take an uber then left us there and was gone in some back room. I then asked one of the shuttle driver to help us out and he was rude too and just kept saying he doesn't know anything and I just have to pay. He witnessed the whole thing. They really couldn't have just let me out? I begrudgingly put my card in got the F out of there. WILL NOT BE BACK! Side story. My "friend" said the same thing happened to him and his wife. But when they were ignoring them he told his wife to climb in the drivers seat and he got out and lifted the blockade out of the way himself and they just left. Genius!!! read more

The people working there when I got there and back were helpful. We didn't wait more than 15 mins to be shuttled and we didn't wait more than 15 mins being pick ed up, everything was smooth. However when we called the number on the confirmation, it was to an east coast location and I didn't know, the customer service person was very rude. I just asked to be picked up and she said from where and I said the San Diego Cruise Terminal and she said the last pick up was at 10am, I said well what time is it now, she said how was she supposed to know, she's in the East Coast, like I was supposed to know where she was at. I told her I think it's like 9 am over here, she said I don't know, you called customer service you need to call directly to the location. I mean why didn't she just tell me in the first place to call directly. Then scaring me about not having a shuttle back and then giving me attitude about not knowing where she was located and to call the number given me which was to her. Like I was disturbing her day! I purchased a 7 day groupon for use December 30. blackout dates clearly listed on the voucher. My dates were outside of the blackout time. when I arrived there was a note on the attendant window with new blackout dates. I asked if I could use the voucher outside of their new dates since I was staying for a week. I was told no. i had to leave my car as had flight in about 2 hours. Upon return the attendant was extremely rude and wouldn't hear our concern. I ended up paying full price after already purchasing a Groupon for the dates I was there. Then when you go to check out, they charge you one full day if you check out over 15 minutes late. Went through ALL SIX FLOORS and could only find ONE SPACE I COULD FIT MY MIATA INTO,and it was on the roof OUTDOORS. So narrow I had to take my suitcase out the convertible top! Absolutely the worst parking experience. Elevator is broken, and a member of our group is disabled. Took 10 extra minutes to climb 6 flights of stairs and then get back down stairs to load up. When attempting to leave the attendant at the gate didn't give a crap. Demanded $20 and wouldn't allow us to leave until paid even though our delay was caused by their broken elevator. Tried to argue with me that I "you saved money because you didn't have to get an Uber because we have a free shuttled." This garage makes an effort to nickel and dime you with zero shame. Seriously considering filing an ADA complaint with the State because of the lack of disability accommodations. Other than this the garage is nasty dirty and not kept up. The "free shuttle" is convenient but no functioning seat belts to use. Didn't feel comfortable with my kids in the shuttle with no seat belts. Don't use this garage!! Been parking here for a long time and had no issues aside from it being dirty , small spaces , broken elevator , extremely slow shuttle. But it was still worth it because the prices were low if you pre booked. They got a management ch age recently and their stuff is automated at the gate now. I came back from my flight and the shuttle took almost an hour long to pick me up. By the time I got back to my car and was leaving it was probably 10 minutes past my time for my ticket. They said I had to pay $20 for a late fee. It's pretty crazy. The late fee was more expensive than my actual parking and had the shuttle picked me up at a decent time I would have been fine. I'm pretty sure they make the shuttles pick you up late to maximize the amount of people that have to pay a late fee. There was two people in front of me trying to leave and were arguing with the gate people about their $20 late fee that delayed me too. Expect to pay low prices for this place but expect small tight spaces , very slow shuttles , rude employees , no elevator and most likely you'll have to park at the top because this place is overbooked a lot and expect to pay $20 if you leave 1 minute late. They used to have a little grace period but not anymore with the new management / system. Used to park here for years , never again. read more

Worst place to park. Filthy beyond words. Attendants are rude and high on something. The whole place stinks to urine and feces. The elevator does not work. They double and triple park cars in the space of one. The "courtesy" pick up and delivery took us over one hour to be picked up. There are not enough words to explain what a bad experience we had. Do yourself a huge favor, do not use this parking facility! I waited for shuttle for 15 minutes at San Diego airport terminal 2. Then the shuttle went to terminal 1 to pickup more passengers. That took another 7 minutes. By the time I arrived at the parking lot, it was 30 minutes past my parking allowed time. So I ended up paying an additional $20. Laurel park is the old reliable. The elevator wasn't working, but the value is good. There's so much expensive parking in San Diego, but I've found Laurel parking in places where you can book ahead and get affordable prices.
