There was also a woman named Heather that was super friendly and helpful as well! Great staff. Any emergency hospital will take awhile just know that. The rooms are fairly large. The doctors seemed to know what they are talking about. "Seemed". I feel like if you go to an emergency room, please be very descriptive on how you feel so the doctor can narrow what you have easier. My brother was the one I was there for. This was his second time and he same the first doctor was RUDE and did not seem like he was just in a rush to get him out of there. There is plenty of parking and there is vending machines that take credit card. Just a heads up. Past experience? My father died in this hospital from health reason but the way the doctor announced his death scared me for life. I hated this hospital every since. Staff was terrible! But!!!! From the ER side, Shane and Heather and I wish I knew the other doctor that helped my brother did a great job with him!

He completely dismissed and invalidated all of our concerns and all but accused us of lying. He spoke with an extreme level of disrespect and directed more of his attitude toward the people of color in the room. I would recommend that no one with any kind of urgency visit this ER and no one who wishes to be treated with basic decency and respect see Dr. Matthew Kramp. His horrific complete and total lack of beside manner completely derailed any hope we had of finding some answers, let alone timely ones. When we informed the nurse of our experience, she suggested we fill out the survey they'd be mailing us, and when pressed, offered that we could call the manager (but no contact info was provided). There seems to be no expectation of timely or adequate care at this hospital. 0/10 absolutely not worth going.

We were left to watch ourselves. The nurses hid behind the glass and would only come out for vitals, food, and medication. There was NOTHING to do if you are a "functional" human being with just suicidal thoughts. Most patients were given high doses of Seroquel, an antipsychotic. The patients were zombies. Most of them slept all day only coming out for meals. People complained and the nurses did nothing. The doctors? Would come in really early in the morning while you're in bed and then decide on a course for you. You don't know me or my history and you're going to do what with my meds? They FAILED in identifying that I had undiagnosed Akathisia that went undiagnosed for years. Did I mention I think I got food poisoning? The food was SO bad!!! The state of psych wards in this area is a joke! We are treated like we're seriously mentally ill when most people were just having issues with bad thoughts or on their period and they flipped out. This is the last place you want to go for mental health. Please do your research before going to a hospital. It's crazy I even have to say that! These places are supposed to help, not hurt! Seriously think I got PTSD from this experience. It was traumatizing.

I sat in a hallway from 10am to 10pm after being brought in by ambulance. I finally got a room in the ER and within 2 hours was admitted to the hospital. Once in a room, the care was excellent and the rooms were private - this is critical because there are people who snore or are disruptive. The food was very good for a hospital, yet the call in order system needs to be updated to an app. The hospital took care of my issue once it was identified and I was released 5 days later. It is the best hospital stay I have had. The staff were excellent and available when called. There are lots of people leaving negative reviews for things beyond the control of the hospital or for following protocols. Doctors and nurses have to follow standardized procedures, so complaining they did not make an exception is not indicative of the care you will receive. I would not hesitate to go back if I need medical care. I had an excellent experience overall. The only room for improvement is more space for patients in the ER out of the hallway.

When he first entered the room, his initial actions were to attempt to turn off both the TV and the phone belonging to my 73-year-old grandmother, which immediately set an uncomfortable tone. I presented for care due to a long-standing UTI with persistent symptoms that have not responded to medication, as well as new symptoms following a traumatic event less than 24 hours prior, where I attempted to save the life of a man who was struck by a truck and then run over by multiple vehicles. I clearly explained that since this incident I have been experiencing physical pain, intrusive flashbacks, and had not slept for over 24 hours because the images replay when I close my eyes. Additionally, I reported COVID-like symptoms and specifically asked to rule out a sinus infection or other possible causes. Despite all of this, Dr. Albrecht offered no meaningful evaluation or plan of care. He dismissed my concerns and simply told me to "follow up with my primary care provider." He initially refused even a basic nasal swab, stating there was "no real need for it," and only agreed after I repeatedly requested it. I left feeling unheard, invalidated, and unsupported during what was both a medically and emotionally vulnerable moment. This interaction fell far below the standard of compassionate, thorough care that patients deserve in a hospital setting. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!

The doctor also "highly recommended" I get the meds; I said if I got malaria I'd just "shake it off." He was baffled. I was defiant. Now-husband just bought me the meds. I lost my passport anyway. Luckily, I've come a long way in embracing medical care! After self-medicating a sore throat for a week with chicken noodle soup and beer, I developed a hacking cough, then a few days later my voice transitioned first to Ella Fitzgerald and then Louis Armstrong. My husband (actually, now) insisted I go in when my cough started keeping him up at night and my parents didn't believe it was me on the phone. My pcp's phone and Internet was out (Verizon, figures), so I ended up back at good ol' reliable Secure Medical Care. It's nothing fancy, folks, but it IS easy, clean, amazingly fast, and next door to a Rite-Aid pharmacy. The doctor I spoke to was friendly, relaxed, and took his time (such an unfamiliar experience!), and the whole process took under a half hour even though I had no appointment. Awesome. Maybe I'll even go willingly next time!

This place is a good choice if you have a problem and would like to see a doctor quickly. There were multiple M.Ds when I went there, so there is a high probably that you will get to talk to a real doctor. Also they can provide a number of medication on-site so there is no need to go to a pharmacy, im not sure if they take insurance for the prescriptions but in the case of the item that I needed the cash price of $10 was the same as what I would pay at a pharmacy when using my insurance. I did however, see other cash prices which were higher $20-$40 range, which is higher than I have every paid for any generic medication while using prescription insurance. Apart from that there is nothing notable about this place. The doctor was nice but there was nothing remarkable about her bedside manner. Since they take my insurance I may very well go here again and will update my review if there is any more information to add. I did find the insurance information a little difficult to find on their website, so here is a link to the page that details which insurance plans they accept: http://www.securemedicalcare.com/Patient/Insurance
