I had a serious crack across my windshield for months started leaking water, and developed a sick wind noise when on the highway. So I called my good friend Steve Corcoran (Done Right Auto Glass) to do a yet another windshield for me on a different vehicle of mine. This guy not only replaced my windshield in 24 hrs, there was underlying rust channels he repaired, he refinished my rusty wiper arms, gave me new wiper blades and put my truck threw a quick detail including rain-xed my new windshield! They saw me right away and told me that it wasn't a crack but a chip and can definitely be repaired. What's more is that they squeezed me in right then and there without me having to ask, which was amazing. On top of that, they handle the insurance stuff, and all I had to do was start a claim online. But all this would be useless if the repair was not good, right? There is no need to worry as after the repair, it is now really hard to see that the damage was even there. I really wish I had taken a before photo. They broke several pieces of the vinyl siding on the outside of the house (and I think they would have just left it if I hadn't mentioned it), and then they simply caulked the cracks with silicone. He said that he told me when they made the estimate that damage to siding was to be expected, but he didn't actually tell us that. They elected not to use a drop-cloth outside, leaving me to clean up bits of spray foam from the demolition work with a shop-vac after they left. Then, I found no less than 2 dozen nails in the grass! The trim was only tacked up with a few nails; it wasn't level and wiggles around. There are handprints on the window sashes, too. I did call and have them come back to pick up the nails. Hope they got them all ... they were galvanized so a magnet wouldn't work. For the $$$ we paid in labor, I definitely expected workers who could clean up after themselves and take a little more pride in their work.

Honestly, don't waste your time at this business. I specifically called the store to gain more…read moreinformation (not the 800 number) the actual store! An A.I. assistant answered the phone, I said "connect me to a representative twice" the A.I. tried connecting me to somebody and put me on a call loop for over ten minutes, I decided to just wait until I got to the store to ask my question. When I was cashing out (I'll talk more about that incident in a second) The phone was ringing and the associate blatantly ignored the call as the phone kept ringing. Not even a quick "can you hold please" just straight up ignored. I could only assume that's what happened to me earlier. Not only was this about an ignored phone call. When I got my quote it said it was going to be about $172 just to fix a chip in my windshield that had not exceeded even three inches of a crack (I can only hope this repair works because that will be the only saving grace from the terrible customer service I received). The associate adjusted my quote to then say my repair would be about $146 and had told me that he could replace my cabin filter and my windshield wipers for free on top of that and then... charged me for the windshield wipers! for... a grand total of about 172 dollars and quite possibly, the cheapest windshield wipers money could buy. I went to the store in person and got swindled by a fast talking associate who seemed lost and confused at any given moment. Save yourself time and money by getting a quote at a local shop where you can talk to a real person about a real quote that is hopefully far more organized than this business.

Was told the truck never showed up. Drove that cracked windshield on a previously scheduled trip to DC. It was less than optimal. Upon return, the window was installed and they took some money off for the trouble. The windshield cracked again and the shop I used this time informed me the wrong windshield was installed. I am glad I went to a different shop this time that is properly run and using the right materials.
