I love the Lavender Connection! The owners are incredibly warm, helpful and informative; they have a wide range of wonderful products (love the spritzes and body butter; I replenish what I need and get items for gift-giving); the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It's an honest experience - meaning that they truly care about what they do and their customers. I leave feeling better than when I arrived. This is the cutest little lavender farm and we had the best experience here! The owners are absolutely fantastic and are just the sweetest people. You can get a free bundle of lavender with a military ID, and they make sure to get you all set up for the best lavender cutting experience possible. Our 2 year old was with us, and the owner (the husband) made sure to give us kid scissors, a kid basket, and tell us that she can't hurt anything so she could definitely participate. This was a great time for our whole family. They had a little ride on tractor that my daughter would have loved to ride for the rest of the day. My daughter was so proud of her "powers" (flowers) that she helped cut and the owner (the wife) made it into an adorable bundle with tissue and ribbon when we were done. They made sure to tell her how pretty her bundle was; she was ecstatic, and talked about it in the car on the way back. I really wanted some essential oil, and the owners both were so patient with me to make sure I got the exact scent I wanted. The oils are really reasonably priced. We will definitely return, and can't wait to go back. read more

Best choice we ever made was to visit The Lavender Connection in Sequim. What a wonderful experience, even during COVID. Best customer service and personal attention to our needs and wants. No pressure to buy. We learned so much about lavender from the owner and his daughter, Rebecca. Truly the most wonderful people. Do check out the gift shop: the shortbread mix is AMAZING. What a nice little surprise after a day of hiking and long drives, the owner came out to meet us as soon as we arrived. He quickly advised us to go into the lavender beds and relax and smell the different cultivars of lavender by rubbing the buds in our hands. He also said that any military people get a free bundle while visiting which I thought was quite nice. We did do some relaxing watching the bees land on the buds, the quails run into their nest to check on their eggs. But mostly we took into the smell, oh my god it smelled wonderful out here. Luckily we hit this cool spot before Labor Day when they close temporally for the season. After frockiling in the lavender fields we bought some oils and soaps for my wife to take back with us to South Carolina. The proprietor learning it was her birthday he gave her some free lip balm and other small items to take home. Once our purchase were over he showed us the process of extracting the oils from the different lavender plants. Then he told us about a cool overlook looking right into Canada at a local park if not a landmark. Which we visited later on. What a great way to end the day, I don't know much about Agro tourism but I'm sure this is one of the best places around to experience a lavender farm. read more

My husband, son and I visited this cute place over a year and some months ago... from Hawaii! We actually came to Sequim to visit the Olympic game farm drive thru zoo. But I've also heard that Sequim is known for yearly lavender festival. So on that note I decided to look up some lavender farms. Being that were from Maui, Hawaii we didn't know where to go, so we trusted good ole' yelp to take us to the perfect farm. It took us to the Lavender connection. And I'm so happy we were able to visit only because It was later in the day and I was hoping they were still open...yes luckily the owner himself took us in. I was in complete awe'....he showed us how he distills the oils, giving us a brief history of the land and of all the different species of lavender... My smile was from cheek to cheek. It felt so spiritual to pick my own buds and be able to take home, I didn't want to leave this quaint place... I got to the gift shop and oh man, I couldn't hold back I bought big bags of dried lavender, some oils (as I'm a massage therapist) and some whipped butter, which I'm completely in love with ...to this day a year later the smells of my dried lavender brings me back to this special day. I suggest you give yourself hours to just lounge around and enjoy the moment. My only wish is that I could've stayed longer!! You'll be glad you stopped by at the Lavender connection!! read more

The owner provide a lot of information on which kind of lavender is good for cooking, boutique, or crafting! So we know which kind to pick since I do not do craft but would like to use it to cook. After finishing picking, the owner wrapped up the lavender I picked in a pretty purple craft paper and nice purple ribbon and put it in a cute purple bag. This makes the lavender picking experience exceptional to me since when I was in the other farm, they did not do the free wrapping service and did not explain which plant is good for cooking. Plus, there was no fee charged for entering the farm. I love this place and will go again next year!!!! read more

Gorgeous spot for pictures, lavender products made right there at the farm, and gincredible historic barn. If you want a real-deal farm experience, this is the place to go! The nicest family ever runs this farm. You pick large bouquets for only 5. Soaps, body butter and other products. Free entrance and free sights (purple fields), sounds (buzzing bees), and smells. Friendly staff & they carry lots of variety of lavender plants for sale. I also like that they labeled all their lavender bushes in the field. It's not yet a big farm, but there are new starts of lavender fields in the process. They are one of the few that carries Seal & Thumbelina varieties, which were not found in other farms in Sequim. read more

We visited with our toddler and the owners were so nice. There were many different varieties of lavender as well as a variety of great products in the little shop. The prices were fantastic. Amazing. Super adorable farm with a barn store. The lavender is super organized and labeled so you can tell the differences between types. They give you a basket and scissors to hand pick your own bundle! The store is also organized and everything is very well priced! The man and woman who gave us a little run down of the lavender and the woman rung us up in the store were both super friendly. Could not have had a better experience! This place is the best for lavender and cheerful, heart warming people( the owners). We have visited the farm nearly 3 times now (we go here every time we like to spend our wedding anniversary), we have always felt happy and warmly welcomed every time by Rick and Susan. You can find the best quality lavender here. There are lot more varieties  to choose from and you get to pick the most amazing bundle of flowers. Rick was kind enough to show us the oil distillation process during our first visit. He also explained the lavender spicies they grow in the farm. There is a small corner store with cool handmade stuffs. They have bottled water near the store if u don't have any handy. The farm restrooms are clean and well maintained. They have a cute gazebo where you can eat lunch or snack that you bring. And you get a beautiful view of the lavender farm from the gazebo. It's wonderful and relaxing. Our 2 year old son had fun playing with the huge toy tractor and he had lots more fun picking the flowers and smelling them. We would definitely keep coming back because they have become more like a family. read more

My daughter wanted lavender bouquets for her wedding. She sent me information on the Lavender Connection and we went and checked it out a week before the wedding. They had many varieties of the lovely purple flowers. We didn't realize was the day I was to cut the lavender was the 1st day of the Lavender Festival. The owners told me I could come early to cut the lavender bunches so I could beat the traffic and the crowds. I showed up at 8:30am, and the Olson family was already there preparing for the festival, I cut my flowers and was on my way before the Festival started. They were very friendly and accommodating. And the lavender is heavenly! read more
