The worst manicure!!!! The lady was rude, rough and did an absolutely TERRIBLE job. Not only were the nails uneven and different lengths - each nail was a different shape. I wanted a buff only, she didn't remove the clear polish I had on my nails and tried to buff over it. When I asked her to remove it, she actually got more unpleasant. I came here for very first time on a referral and I must say .. I definitely will not ever step foot in this place again. I went in for nails & pedicure. Got pedicure by a male ( Asian guy) didn't get his name . Ive had many pedicures and this was the most stressful pedicure Ive had in 40 years. The guy wouldn't shut up about .. relax my foot,,, turn this way , turn that way, put here , put there lol ... the final straw was when he said , " don't block the pump" are u freaking kidding me? Where's the pump? I'm barely reaching the darn bowl as I'm short but, that was it for me. I decided then & there I'll never come back . I am from Austin and am here half the time now. I was in town for a wedding and needed a last minute mani pedi. I showed up right at opening time and was immediately seated at a pedicure chair. There was about 4 other customers that also walked in at opening time and were greeted right away. Dan did my pedicure and he was great. He provided excellent customer service and his execution of the lavender pedicure I ordered was perfection. After my pedicure, I waited about 5-10 minutes to get my manicure started. I dont remember the name of the guy who did my manicure but he did an awesome job. I feel like I am never fully happy with my nails and I honestly could not find a flaw in his work after he was done. I am taking one star off because I saw people sitting without being attended to (like others have mentioned) for 30+ minutes. They could definitely use to have a couple more people working, especially during a busy weekend. Additionally, I felt like they have a big upcharge for everything. My pedicure was $65 with a $20 upcharge for shellac and $10 upcharge for the color I got. Dan was upfront about all of these charges and I agreed to them before he performed the service but it was pretty pricey. The man who did my nails also told me there was an upcharge for my french tip on my almond shaped nails. I have gotten the same exact nails for months at multiple places and I have never been charged extra for "c-french tip". Overall, this was a quality manicure and pedicure but you will pay a pretty penny ($185). read more

I had an appointment at 11:00. Finally got started 1 hour and 10 min. Later. I requested not to have a male tech. I got a male tech. He was very rough and injured the skin around my left toe. This place has really declined in quality and customer service. I have been going here for many years. I went yesterday Mon. JAN 13. The woman doing my pedicure was incredibly rough and aggressive She cut my feet with her cheese grater. After I stopped the pedicure because I couldn't take any more of her punishment to my gentle feet and asked for a manager. The manager argued that I was not hurt even though everyone could see the red irritation and cut marks. Then they demanded I pay for my pedicure even though she didn't finish it and she injured me. After numerous trips to several nail places, I finally found a salon that knew how to do a proper pedicure! For once my feet were soft and smooth!! The other salons were horrible about smoothing out bottoms of my feet. The people were friendly and there was no wait on the day I went. I would definitely recommend. I really wanted to love this place, but after my second visit, I was treated like a lot of the previous reviews. They made me sit in the pedicure chair for over an hour before doing my pedicure and my acrylics were rushed and poorly done. It never fails that even if you have an appointment, they will take forever to get to you. Plan to spend a majority of your day here, or just go somewhere else. When they ACTUALLY take their time on you, they do a wonderful job, but that doesn't seem to be the case all of the time. read more

Had a bridal party of 4. The bride and one of her bridesmaids got her toes done and me and the other girl sat there for two hours with our feet in lukewarm water. If it wasn't for wanting to pay for the brides toes I would have left way sooner. I understand not having the staff but when an appointment is made a week In advance it should have been communicated that we would be there for 4 plus hours trying to get nails and toes done. The place looked halfway put together and the prices were higher than two other cleaner locations. This salon was also not my choice to go to nor do I recommend going there. I ended up leaving and going to a whole other nail salon that had me out in less than 2 hours nails & toes. read more

I have never seen such a terrible job done when it comes to blending and the color is so blotchy. If you aren't comfortable doing a design or have a concern about your products not being able to do the job the customer has inquired about, THEN TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS UPFRONT! I called a day ahead to make an appointment for right when they opened for mani/pedi. When I arrived I waited 25 minutes before they started my pedicure. Once finished I sat and watched them take 4 other patrons (2 of which initially did not have appointments at all) to get their nails done. I ended up being there an hour a and a half without them starting my nails. Did not have time to wait any longer nor would I give them any more money then necessary. Poor appointment planning, poor management, and not enough nail technicians working for the amount of walk in's they took before me. Had a party of five with appointments scheduled days before and ended up leaving an hour later without our nails done. We were barely paid attention to, there were at least four people waiting there when we got there and a few came in after us. We watched as people who got there after us but were regular customers get great attention and taken before us, one of which even told us her appointment was scheduled after ours. Since I was flying out on vacation I went back the next day to just have gels put on. They made me wait over an hour even though it wasn't busy then charged me full price. I hadn't had my nails done in a couple of years since a young lady and her family had left K'ville....it's just that everybody else's nails were too thick, too wide, too lumpy or they insisted on raking up the sides of my nails even when told on at the outset and several times during the process to please leave the sides long.... Oh, what the heck...didn't hurt to duck my head in and check out the drying paint, I thought...I parked. As my eyes adjusted to the darkened interior I saw two people approaching and heard a familiar voice....it was Linda!!! She was back, her family glad to be back in the Texas Hill Country and now they would be adding a wonderful new line of products and a double bank of pedicure chairs! At first it was a bit spare in there but now an appointment is "de riguer" and there are great individuals giving clients a long list of wonderful choices for pedicures and all manner of nail products and exceptional designs on your nails by Linda's husband...! One finished and took the little girl ahead if me. When the other finished, he just left with no explanation. I left and went to Angel Nails down the street. a very nice looking place with no one working except three men and one lady in the foot area. but of course they say no problem we can do your pedicure, just sit in the water until your skin sloughs off. okay, I gave up and let my daughters have their feet done and I just sat in the waiting area letting my feet dry out from the 30 minutes of water time they endured. I rarely ever go to these types of nail places because of this same issue-so my own fault for trying it out I guess. but seriously, they were nice to my girls, the place seemed clean. but I just don't have any Interest In sitting in a tub of water all day. why have 12 chairs and three or four people working? and lucky for the two chics who came after us that I forfeited my turn so they only had to wait about 45 minutes to get out of the foot pool. Worst mani / pedi experience ever. Finger nails were cut incredibly short and uneven, cuticles were ragged and dry when I left. At the beginning, they weren't even going to use the tub liners for the pedicure soak. My wife's finger nails were cut too short even at her request to leave them long and they did a horrible job working on her cuticles. I wouldn't recommend and won't go back. read more
