I've been coming here over 4 years now! As someone who's been getting pedicures for over 30 years I'm very picky where I go. Queens nails is the only place I'll go in town. Jennifer is so sweet and gives the absolute best pedicures. It's so peaceful, clean and quiet in the salon. I was really impressed the first time I went there but I shouldn't have been. My husband and I had appointments but they took their time on the person who was there before us. We had to wait for 30 minutes. The second time we had appointments they stopped working on us to serve WP who walked in off the streets. The third time it was the exact same treatment. It's like they cater to WP and if you're a minority hurry up and wait!! I know damn well those WP don't tip like we tip...$50 a person!!! Needless to say we will be finding a new nail salon. I experienced, first "hand", why Queen's Nails & Spa has such wonderful reviews! I travel a lot for work and have had my nails done in many different salons. I often feel like I am being hurried through so they can get to the next client or leave. It is rarely a personable experience. But what I have come to expect. My experience at Queen's Nails has set a new level of expectation. I scheduled an appointment with Natalie. When I arrived, she was working with a client. When she saw me, though we had never met and had only spoken on the phone long enough to schedule an appointment, she greeted me by name without the assistance of the sign-in book. She let me know she would be with me shortly. While she was giving her attention to the client she was with, I chose my colour...always one of my favourite parts of the manicure process. Natalie was engaging and very attentive. At no point did I feel I was being rushed through. It was just comfortable. Typically, a manicure, is finished with a hand massage. My manicure concluded with a neck and shoulder massage! Very welcome after traveling for two days. Not only was the service excellent, the salon was very clean!! I look forward to my next trip back! Best nail salon in town. I have been to every nail salon in Kerrville and this is the best by far. They are so sweet and are so thorough and detailed. They take their time and do a really great job. They don't just rush you through and not pay attention to what they are doing like some do. All the employees are great but Donna is my favorite. I go for manicures and pedicures with regular polish by the way. I have not tried dipping or any of the other kinds of nails but I'm sure they are great at that too. I've been to many day spas and numerous nail salons in the metropolitan areas, but none has made me feel so welcomed and pleased with the quality of service! My friend and I decided to try this place due to the convince of the location....we didn't know the treat that awaited us! We were immediately greeted with smiles and one of the ladies came over to welcome us with a handshake! They promptly sat us down after we picked our colors and served us our choice of drink. The ambiance of the place is so peaceful and they strive hard to make you feel at ease. There was a wait before they started our pedi, but the service they provided was well worth the wait! The staff does not rush through their services with their customers; making you feel you are not being rushed out the door, like so many other salons do. Plus, the massage chairs and the overall atmosphere makes you feel so relaxed that you just want drift off to sleep! The man who gave me my foot massage was very attentive and amazing! The best foot massage I had in ages! They also seem very meticulous about cleanliness, given that they clean the foot baths and sanitize their tools right away--this is a bonus since I am OCD about those types of things. After the pedi, the lady who welcomed us before walked us out with a handshake and a smile. Apparently, that same lady (I wish I got her name!) makes amazing coffee in the mornings that she serves to customers--I will most defiantly come one morning to get a pedi and coffee! :) Overall, my friend and I were greatly impressed and pleased with this nail salon. Since moving to Texas, I have been looking for the Nail Salon that will become my "go to"...FOUND IT! When you drive around Kerrville, there seems to be a nail salon on every corner. Let me save you the trouble of trying them all - go to Queen's. When I walked in, (made an appt. in advance), I thought they had just opened as it was so clean and smelled pleasant. They do not do acrylics, so if that is what you want, go elsewhere. They do however, do nail dips and shellac. Looking forward to my next Mani Pedi here! read more
