I have been going to Pearl Nails for a few years now as well as my wife, daughter, and my mother in law and we all are always happy with the quality of service and the products. The main reason I go is for in grown toe nails in my feet. They always have sterile equipment that they usually open in front of me. I've never left with an unresolved in grown. They double check my toes and ask me if I still feel it. There is a huge fish tank with koi fish, they have wine, and massage chairs. I brought my daughter for her birthday. They had a cute chair so I was so excited for her to be able to actually fit since she is 5. She was SO excited. Apparently they were busy so they decided to just put water in hers (no jets.. no soap.. no scrubbing of her feet) they drained the water and just put lotion on her feet and painted them. Put her shoes on and completely ruined them and sent us on our way. I wasn't going to go back but after spending $40 I made them redo at least the paint. Super disappointed and will being taking my daughter somewhere else next time. I'm just glad she's never really had one so she didn't know what to expect. Never again. read more

My pedicure is awful! Toe nails are not cut straight at all. I have a pointed tall corner on each toe. No polish on parts of my nails and they wouldn't massage my legs even though I was paying for that. I got a leg rub only, it felt sexual and not therapeutic. Most disgusting service ever! I was forced to pay and no one was willing to acknowledge the lack of skill that they have. These people should be shut down. read more

I've been getting fake/acrylic nails done for 20+ years and this is HANDS DOWN the WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! We were in town for an anniversary getaway. The people who did mine and my husband's pedicures were wonderful! Genuinely enjoyed it! It all went down hill when I was transferred to the woman in the first chair with the curly hair. She didn't want to soak my old nails off but was forced to after ripping my natural nail during her barbaric shoving of an unused tip between my fake and natural nail and causing me pain. She finally gets 1 hand down to my natural nails and soaks the other. While it soaks, She does my right hand as fast and as sloppy as I've ever seen done in my life. I frequently had to tell her to file this more or put more powder on because she'd missed a spot. With my right hand done, in record time I might add, she goes to the left. There's still old acrylic nail left after filing and soaking and doing it 2 more times within 5 minutes. So she proceeds to TRY AND PUT TIPS OVER MY OLD ACRYLIC NAILS! SERIOUSLY! I said no ma'am. You can not do that. The old nail is still on. So she sighs, soaks it another 2 minutes and then files down more. It was still there, but I gave up at this point. I just wanted out of there and only had 1 hand crappily done. So she's putting the tips on, cuts them down and they are significantly longer than the other hand. She acts like she's going to start putting on powder and I said no ma'am. My left hand is longer than my right. I literally had to physically show her how to put the two hands together to measure and match them to each other. She wasn't going to do it. She said "I file later". The heck you will. Thats a 1/2 inch too long!! Finally, with that done she slaps on the powder and starts filing. She's so rough, in such a dang hurry...and I'd ONLY been her chair at maybe 15-20 minutes at this point. I swear...I just wanted out of there. I am too nice to say anything to her personally, I paid my bill, but I literally cried when I left because I was so frustrated by the experience. We spent $150!!!! I now have to go back home to get my nails fixed and spend even more money. She was in such a hurry, so rough with me like she didn't have time for me because I guess the lady sitting in the pedicure chair she went to when she was done with me was more important than me, the quality of my nails, and customer satisfaction. I NEVER write reviews but this was such a bad experience that I wanted to warn others. My nails look absolutely horrible!! DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Running late on a Sunday afternoon, I was unable to see my usual nail salon. So I visited pearl nails salon on 2/3/13. I was greated nicely and asked what I would like. I specifically said French tips/ white, no solar nails. She said ok and we got started. As she began I also told her I preferred shorter nails due to my activities. She said ok. Throughout the manicure she barely talked to me. However frequently and quietly she would speak Vietnamese to someone in the room. This made me feel like I was being talked about. When she was finally done her husband rang me up and charged me 40$ for the solar sails, I told him I specified I did not want them them just regular nails. And I thought I had mad myself clear, he didn't care to listen to me he just wanted me 40$. This salon is greedy, so much so they work 7 daysa week keeping there 10yr old and 3yrold in the salon with them in the salon all day. There are better ways of doing business other than by being rude and unnegotiatable with customers.Kerrville is a small town, many women in town gossip and talk.
