LaVida is a great place to go for quality massage therapy - whether you're looking to relax, or help work on a problem area. Every therapist I've seen takes a few minutes to go over what you want done, and they make my wife and I feel comfortable. I will say that without a package, their rates are pretty darn high, but we either pre-pay for 6, or go month-by-month on an automatic renewal, for $50/mo for 50 minutes of massage with 5 minutes on each side for prep and discussion. Even that's a little high but everyone there does great work so I don't mind it. read more

It amazes me that they have you fill out a form before your massage to indicate which part of your body you want to focus on, then the massuse does the exact opposite. I'm upset that I didn't say anything when he said he was finished, I was a bit in shock that we were done. Every area I marked on the sheet was basically ignored and I know he looked at my request prior to the massage. What upsets me even more is that out of habit I left a tip, that's on me. I just had the best prenatal massage by Andrea today. I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and haven't had a prenatal massage since I was pregnant with my first baby (10 years ago). It's so refreshing to receive that extra level of personal service and attentiveness that is hard to find these days. In addition to that, my massage therapist Andrea is amazing. I've been a member for about 3 months and so far so good.The massages are nice, they have aromatherapy available which is awesome, but you do have to remind them you want it. My husband and I went here for a couples Valentines Day massage. The atmosphere was nice and front staff were nice but the massage therapists were disappointing. We each got 60 minute massages. My husband had to keep asking his masseuse to press harder. Even after 3 times of asking her this, she still did not adjust the pressure. I got a full body massage but the masseuse did not massage my feet and barely did my neck and shoulders. She also moved way too fast with her movements. If I could give less stars I would. I am 9 months pregnant literally my due date Is in one day. I simply wanted to enjoy a massage before I have my second child. I already have a toddler as it is and never get time to myself. My mom dropped me off went to shop for an hour. My sister gave me a value trade gift certificAte that they worked and paid for. It expired a few days before that I was not aware of and thought it was till the end of the month. The girls at the front desk went to the back to grab the manager and they would not honor the gift certificate for nothing. I literally had to stand outside and wait for my mom for a entire hour 9 months pregnant sore wanting a massage to relax for that hour. This place is pretty good and the front staff is great. But the massage therapists sometimes are not always on par. I recently had an issue with one of the masseuses cutting my 2 hour massage by a half an hour. I wasn't too pleased. Front staff said they would take care of it next time around. We shall see. moochi is the botox queen - she made me feel at ease while I got botox between my eyebrows for the first time. First time customers get boxot for $7.95 per unit. I paid under $150 and I no longer have a line between my eyebrows. After about 3 days, I could no longer furrow my eyebrows but I still had forehead movement and it looked completely natural. my headaches also went away! read more

So I went in for a massage and dysport. I booked my massage and specified I wanted deep tissue. I hadn't gotten a massage since before I was pregnant and at 6 mo post partum was totally looking forward to this. Let me just say that I'm always skeptical trying someone new and am a tough massage client to please. This massage exceeded all of my expectations! The dysport was also good and the doctor took the time to ask me questions like how much movement I wanted, etc. She even emailed me a week after my treatment to make sure I was happy. 5 stars for excellent customer service. I also liked the fact they didn't try to get me to buy anything or enroll in their rewards program. It was a no pressure environment. I would definitely recommend going here. read more

Although I always get a great massage at LaVida, it is nearly impossible to schedule an appt online as they offer. I have probably tried to schedule an appt online on 5 or 6 different occasions and I think only once they were able to accommodate my online scheduled appt. I made my last appt late last night and I just got a call 20 minutes before my scheduled appt time while I was in the car driving there that they were unable to accommodate my scheduled appt. I have mentioned this issue to the staff in the past and have seen no improvements. I have suggested that they shouldn't even offer online scheduling if they can so infrequently accommodate the request. Online scheduling is supposed to be a convenience for the client, but it is anything but at LaVida. And it's such a disappointment to be so looking forward to a massage, just to have it cancelled 20 minutes before you are scheduled. read more
