I've been going here for years and have always been pleased with the service I've received as with my daughters. I don't get designs but my girls do and they are always happy with the result. Kate & Kevin are my go to. I've really never had to wait and never had issues with either the pedicure or gel manicures I've gotten. I have been coming to this salon for the past 5 years and have had the most amazing experiences. Kate and Dave (chair 1and2) are amazing! However, today was one of the most unprofessional, disappointing, and worst nail experiences ever. I don't think I will ever return to this salon. They rushed the nails entirely. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. The nail techs did ok, but one nail tech was unsanitary and didn't wear a mask or gloves although she was sick and left multiple times in the middle of doing my friend's nails. Both of us work in medical fields so we are not strangers to diseases but if she was unwell, as a professional who is doing a service you kindly say " sorry im not well, please let me have a coworker finish for you" and go to break room or go home or "sorry im a bit unwell, I will need to take a few breaks and wear a MASK and gloves!" As a customer in the middle of getting a service, I should not have to get up and go to management and say your staff is unwell, can someone help her and me? They should check on their staff if they notice these issues. Also the other tech doing my nails was so busy in her gossip she used the wrong top coat , and my right index nail ended up so chunky looking. Even after all this, we didn't mind and were not upset with the service because we are understanding, until at payment the receptionist not only raised her voice and then blamed us for two people waiting in chairs cancelling their appointments because they saw the ill tech and didn't want to get their nails done there. All we did was ask verbatim "hi, is there anything you can offer for the inconvenience of the experience?" The lady not only repeated it twice very loudly for everyone in salon to hear but with such a rude attitude. It was disgusting behavior. All she had to say " Unfortunately, we are unable to at this time" THE END. We paid and left, knowing and overhearing them talk about "how dare they even ask the question" This is so rude and unprofessional. On top of that, she added "we cant control when someone is sick, we lost 2 other customers waiting because they saw the other nail tech sick." After 5 years of getting our nails done here, today was our last day we ever recommend this location or ever come back. The people are not courteous, friendly, or welcoming. Being kind is free. Giving attitude and being rude as a receptionist and first person customers meet is unprofessional. The nail techs this time were Jenny and Hailey. Do not know the receptionist's name. I'm so glad I found this place. It's in a very quiet plaza with huge parking lot. Kate did my nails and she was fast and did a very good and satisfactory job. I called and asked if z Kevin, who is the only person I ever use as a longtime customer was available for a filling and a gel manicure, and the person who answered the phone asked me what time would I like to come and I said well what time do you have in the afternoon and he said 1 o'clock I said that's fine. When I got there he started arguing with me telling me I never asked for Kevin and he was belligerent. No way to treat a long time customer. He was extremely rude. I just walked out of there. I got a regular pedicure and when the purple scrub brush came out on my first foot the woman went AT it so harshly she left these cuts. I told her how badly she was hurting me but she did not speak ANY English and did not understand till I had to motion stop with my hands and pulled my foot away from her. I told the receptionist man at checkout what happened and showed him, he did not apologize or comp my pedicure but gave me a small bottle of lotion. My pedicure does look good around the awful scrapes though LOL. read more

I have been a long time customer here who referred a lot of people. Yesterday I got a gel manicure and the next day ,a regular pedicure using supposedly the same color. When they did my gel manicure, I said to Tony, who is really a great guy, but the color I asked for is coral, and so it has more of an orange color than what he was putting on my nails, but we thought that maybe when they go under the lamp, they change a little bit and so he continued. Today, when I went back for the pedicure, the regular matching nail polish was the orangey coral that I had wanted. In the afternoon I went back to show them that the two colors did not match. I thought maybe a bottle had been switched and I was helping them. Instead, I got screamed at yelled at and told to get out and never return. When I said to them that all I wanted, was that maybe in about two weeks I could get a new gel manicure in the right color... I was screamed at even more. I tried to speak calmly. I tried to explain that I thought I was helping them. They kept screaming too bad and don't come back. I told them I did not want them to change the color right now because I did not want my nails to undergo more of the gel manicure process. after telling them that I was not trying to be a pain, she said she would change my pedicure color. I kept telling her that that was the color I liked finally when I would not leave, she returned the money for my pedicure and told me that I could not return anymore and that my phone number would be removed from the ability to come into the shop. 2022 December 22 - I visited LaVie Nail Salon Website and decided on a service for $28 acrylic nails with Henry (recommended by someone). I called and told the gentleman (Henry) I visited their website and he scheduled my appointment within an hour which is the best I can say. I arrived, the place was packed for a morning appointment before 11. My wait was about 15 minutes. My appoint was for STANDARD $28 acrylic service became $61, no design, no french manicure (no manicure JUST nail service) with just clear polish was $61!!!! Either they don't want my business or just GREED in retirement community for mediocre service! read more

I can honestly say I just had the best spa pedicure/massage of my life with Lisa! I also really loved the gel fill I got with Emily. She shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted. I am completely happy and will go back again for sure. My only tiny issue is that even with an appointment for 1:30 I waited about 15 minutes for my nails and after that another 15 minutes for my pedicure to start. I do understand and appreciate that they are very busy but I am too, that's why I made the appointment. Also, they may want to turn the gel light off, even if it's just for a few minutes between clients. It was WAY TOO HOT. But overall, an excellent experience. read more
