This was my first time coming to Cool Nails. I walked in and was able to get in a chair ASAP. Good thing I got there when I did. After me, 2 people had to wait until other nail techs were finished. OK, first of all this old ass, bitch butchered my toes and my hands. I had to tell her multiple times to stop cutting so short on my toes she was touching the skin so closely. And then had the nerve to start drilling my nails and touching the skin over and over even when I tried to pull back, she would pull my hand forward and keep drilling my skin like my cuticles and when I told her she said oh nice and clean, nice and clean, I really didn't want to pay her. I wanted to curse her out and walk out and then she had the nerve to talk about. You're a single mom your husband she was talking a little bit too much asking me nosy questions and how many kids I have and just making me feel extremely uncomfortable she was a bitch. I should've told her she was talking way too much, and then she had the nerve to look at me funny when I gave her two dollar tip I shouldn't have given her shit. Didn't get the name of my tech but I asked for a gel manicure... and it was one of the worst I've gotten. The cuticles were peeling a few days after, chipping near the end of my nails within a week. I asked another tech to fix up the errors and I was met with resistance... their solution was to paint MORE layers over the already thick & sloppy layers. It's sad because I have had good experiences at this salon with different techs but they made me feel silly for asking for better service. I will not be going back there. read more

First time here after moving to the area and trying a few salons. Place is clean and calm, lots of colors to choose from. Nick was super gentle and time efficient with my nails. I'm just like WTF. I showed this nail tech an inspiration photo for her to recreate on my nails. She told me that it's not going to be exact, and I saw, "of course no worries. Just have fun with the swirls & experiment." This lady literally took my word out of it whatever but at least don't fuck it up. They look like fricking INTESTINES I'm telling y'all. She COULD'VE MADE the swirls/lines SMOOTHER rather than curving it like (i said) INTESTINES. Lastly, she tried to re-trace the white lines and girl, it is not straight and retraced. Went here based on the photo that the shop had posted. Shop is dirty as hell. They don't sanitize tools. Or disinfect anything. Even despite covid. Anyways I went in and asked for the exact nails from the picture. After an hour of the nail tech saying he could do it while desperately taking one nail on and off after no being able to do the design he originally said he had done. Which is the last picture with the blue nails for reference. So I kindly told him nvm let's do something simple. And this is what he produced. And when I complained about these hideous nails. He claimed I didn't give him enough time. I had arrived at 5:00 for my appointment and it's now 7pm. But the two hours clearly for him wasn't enough. I made them remove my nails and I suggest no one ever go here this place is a lie and doesn't respect customers. Wish I could give them zero stars. read more

I called 15 minutes before I was about to arrive to ensure no wait and like the dishonest nail salon that they are told me to come in. Of course, I was greeted by a wait. No hello when I walked in just pick a color. I pick my color and sit down and ask how long they say 15 minutes. What was the point of me calling to ask ? Staff is rude and the color selection isn't that great. Only came because I was in a rush and their prices are reasonable. They have a wide range of gel colors and they are extremely precise with shaping the nails and making sure that acrylics are natural looking and not excessively thick. If you're not getting gel, however, there is very limited selection in colors unfortunately. The only complaint that I have is that when using the drummel it sometimes hit my cuticles and it hurt a little bit but otherwise the technician was very delicate and spent a lot of time making sure that my nails looked great. The hand massage at the end was a nice added bonus as well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of work! read more

I was looking for a baby blue color to match my nails and was given a green-blue. I told Amy after the first nail it didn't match and she was so rude and started to obviously talk shit about me to the others and started aggressively paining my nails and getting it all over the place. Recently moved to the area and looking for a nail salon. I was a walk-in and they got to me immediately. I was concerned about the lack of gel nail polish selection but continued. I was given an excellent pedicure, but my gel nails was something else. I believe my nail tech was late for an appointment and rushed through my manicure. My nails were razor sharp squares and the gel didn't fully set before she was putting lotion and motioning that I was done. If you want a solid pedicure, I would highly recommend, but disappointed in the gel manicure. read more

STOP SAYING IM TALKING ABOUT A DIFFERENT LOCATION! I came her for a mani pedi and I was so disappointed. I paid $85 for a sloppy job. I got cut by the foot stone because the lady was going so fast and harsh. I don't understand why you would use the foot stone ON TOP of someones foot. The cut was small and minor but it did burn when she added soap. Next, my nails...HORRIBLE! My appointment was on the 22nd and my birthday was on the 25TH, Two nails snapped off so easily on my birthday. Lasted 3 days, thankfully I called after thanksgiving and she fixed them for free but you could tell she rushed. Two hours later, another nail on the opposite hand snapped. I was in search of a new nail salon closer to my apartment instead of driving far to my usual place. I will just eat the drive and here's why: * The person doing my nails was constantly being interrupted by customers entering/exiting and over the phone. I inquired about them hiring a receptionist for such a busy shop. The owner said that it would take to much time to train someone. Well, when you are one of the few people that knows how to do acrylics in the shop someone else should be able to deal with fielding the customers. That way the person you are working on does not have their service constantly interrupted. * Due to the unacceptable amount of interruptions the service took FOREVER!!! The quality of the very simple design I requested was very poor because the tech was tired of doing my nails. He kept pushing my hands back to me asking is this good now. This is after I waited an hour just to be seated. * He filed my nails too much for a new set. My nails beds were in pain for days and twice he nicked me causing me to bleed. * I showed him the design I wanted before we started and he said YES I can do that design. Then when it came time to polish he said that he could not do the design the way I wanted. * Nails were 80% painted. * The shape was chunky. * Gel polish on acrylic nails did not last a week before staring to fade and peel. read more

Called them at about 5:45pm on a Thursday evening, and I was told by Lee that I would have to wait a while, but that he could definitely fit me in for a full set and pedicure. I didn't have anything to do, so I told him that'd be fine. My wait ended up being about 35 minutes, and Nick was my nail tech. He had a chart of the different nail shapes, so I was able to point out and describe what I wanted in terms of shape and length, and he listened and understood. What I loved the most was his easygoing personality and how he actually listened to me. I never felt rushed. I ended up going for the almond shape with a red mood changing color that I love! Nick took his time, so I ended up passing on the pedicure since I didn't want to skip out on my dinner date (it was a little past 7pm). Nick told me he would have no problem doing my pedicure despite it being past their closing time, but I politely declined. Overall, my experience was great and it was a nice, clean salon. There were messy seams & bad coverage of my entire nails (the sides), he didn't scrape under my nails or trim my cuticles, after drying I found a lot of bubbles, the coats were rather uneven, and my thumbnail (my favorite nail) was shaped extremely lopsided.. I ended up peeling a lot of the top coat off of my surrounding skin & my cuticles were messy. I just wish it was a cleaner job but if you're going for the ambiance, it's a nice facility.. Really loved this nail salon. I got a fill and gel polish for around $35. My friend got dip French for $40. However, make sure that you are not in a rush when you go here. The nail technicians are very meticulous and want to make sure your nails come out perfect. Took a lot longer than expected but the finished product was worth the wait. I got a full set done and it was okay at first until a week went by. They started to lift and four nails fell off. Staff was nice but the job itself was awful. The nails were not buffed right. I have literally never left a review for anything ever, but I downloaded yelp just to review this place. Terrible job. I've been getting my nails done for over a year straight, went here cuz it was close to my house. Nails didn't even last a week. The first nail lifted on the 3rd day. Kept having to add my own glue. After each nail kept lifting, I gave up and ripped them off. Also, when I was there, I had on an acrylic color, the technician had never seen that before and didn't want to take the time to buff it down, so he placed more acrylic on top of half buffed nails and I had to choose a dark color polish so my old color wouldn't show thru. Over all terrible experience. And now I don't have my nails any more, from them snapping and having to rip them off my nails are short and stubby. Like I said I've been getting them done over a year straight, they were nice and long, now...yuck!! read more
