So I've been going to this place for about 6months and i usually make an appointment, but sometimes a just chance it and don't mind if I have to wait a little bit. The last time I went I made an appointment for me and my bestie to get our toes done. When i first got there they confirmed my appointment and told me to pick out a color, as I'm picking out my color I see another woman come in and I watched the nail lady that told me to pick out a color sit the woman before me and I over heard her say "thanks for squeezing me". Mean while my friend and i have picked out our color and just standing there waiting. After we sit down and they put my friend closer to the lady that just walked in and sits me on the next chair , a different nail lady comes out and starts working on my friend and tells me that I will have to wait and soak for 15 mins, which i responded with, "didn't I make an appointment?" She responded "oh someone called out sick." I didn't say anything but my thought was Then why did I make an appointment ?!!!when you took the lady that just walked in before me. So as it plays out my friend and I got our toes done by the same lady going back and forth between us rather than the same time. She also used my friends nail file on me and her, not that I mind she is like a sister to me but what if she wasn't. Nail places in Washington are so hit and miss. This place has really taken the time to find what I want and exceed my expectations. One girl in particular has gone so above and beyond. The design I wanted was pretty intricate on for my gel manicure and she did it! She took 30 minutes to make sure my nails design was perfect, and it was. They lasted 3.5 weeks before I needed to get them redone love this place! read more

I've gone a few times and honestly I dont know why. I've had different people everytime and I'm not happy. The gel nails I got were crooked and the lady cut my fingers with the nail file. This was my first time walking into the salon. My daughters and I were greeted immediately. My daughter wasn't sure if the manager was available to do her nails. She seemed to like how she did them the last couple times. They said the wait would be about 15-20 minutes but after 5 minutes she was seen and seen by the manager V. So the overall experience for my daughter was awesome. Everyone was very nice and accommodating to the other patrons. One other patron asked for a cell phone charger and they immediately had that for her. I will definitely continue to bring my daughter here. Thank you Lavish Nail salon for being awesome! read more

I really enjoy coming here. The salon is really gorgeous and they offer military discount and even a beverage. This is so much closer to my house. I had been going to Diva nails in the past. You have to pay $1 for your personal file and buffer that you take home (in my opinion is great, so you aren't sharing with others). I have been here a few times, however my past few visits, the Pedi's seem really short and there are still rough patches that I think could've been scrubbed a little bit better. read more

Unimpressed. I've been going to lavish for about three months. Every time I go I expect to be impressed but leave feeling let down. Yesterday was my last time going. My nails look so bad. You shouldn't have to go home and file your nails after spending 35 dollars on a "gel" top coat full set. I also received a sub par eyebrow wax that had me plucking hairs when I got home. I find it rude that they offer some clients drinks but not others. The lady who did my nails I've seen like three times but I still don't know her name she's not very friendly at all and was in a complete rush to get me out of there. I'm sorry but I just can't pay 55 dollars per visit and come out with nails I'm not impressed with I've had better full sets for 20. Bucks. The place is nice inside it's located very conveniently but if the service sucks I will stay away. Smh I really wanted to love this place but every time i look at my nails I just can't. read more

I had been to this salon several times before and have always been pleased...until yesterday. I had an appointment for pedicure and manicure. It took the gal 1 hour and 20 minutes just to do my pedicure and it was AWFUL! I have never had to ask anyone to fix a nail job but had to ask her many times. I was told she was new and that's why it took so long (I get that it would take longer but she didn't even know how to do nails) When she finished another gal said she would be with me in 5 minutes to do my manicure. A few minutes later someone walked in and the gal (who told me she would be with me in 5 min) took the new customer and started doing her nails! Mind you, everyone working new how long I had been in there. Many customers had come in and out during my time there. I was then told the only one available to do my nails was the gal that messed up my manicure...are you kidding me?! I very politely and quietly talked to the manager who just kept saying she couldn't do anything about it. I went to my car and called and got the owner's name and number. Left a message for her yesterday and early today with no return call. I will not be going back and would not recommend this place to anyone! Unfortunately updating my review. I will no longer return to this shop, and here is why: I thoroughly enjoy the overall "look" of this shop, and this is why i was drawn to it. The customer service was ok. However, only a week and half later, after charging me extra for extra acrylic (which was ridiculous in my opinion but fair), I have endured two cracks in my nails. I also paid extra for shellac that day, so this should not have occurred. I called and asked for a 5:30 appointment, I was told to come in at 5 or 5:15pm. It was 4:45, but I got there as soon as I could although I requested that time for a reason. Upon arrival, the guy looked at my nails, and took no responsibility or apologized for the crack. I even pointed out that I shouldn't have a crack so early or at all even. He said nothing. He went in and out more acrylic over it, rather than removing the nail. After doing so, I was charged $5 additional dollars which I felt was in poor taste since it was of not fault of my own. I was also charged an additional dollar for using the debit machine so they lost a star for that. Once, I got to my car, I discovered another crack in my pinky nail, which he quickly slapped acrylic on as well. The shellac however was sloppy and it has a bulge on the tip which is noticeable. I was also charged an additional $3 for this. I might as well just got a fill. He said, "next time you come in, I'll charge u $3 more and it will be thicker acrylic". I really don't want thicker acrylic as I already paid extra the first time for more acrylic, and my nails STILL cracked. I don't want thick chunky nails for no reason. I feel they are money hungry here. They Will no longer nickel and dime me out of another penny. Very tacky and they have lost a regular out of me. There are other truly lavish nail salons, that won't charge you extra to maintain there shop. read more

Used to love this place, but it's gone down hill. Jenny used to be the best but her quality just isn't the same. She's so distracted from all the drama and miscommunication she doesn't do as good as job. I never used to break nails done by her, I have went 5 weeks with out a fill and no breaks. Last time I went I was charged $30 for a fill with gel and had a nail break 12 hours later while carrying laundry! The receptionist is a joke, she constantly double books or over laps appointments so you end up waiting an hour plus. There's no parking! And you have to drive far to go around the block to come back to park on the side where's there's constantly homeless people sleeping. The part I'm most upset about is the constant change in pricing when I always get the same thing. It's like they make up things to charge you for and they charge for everything! If you get more than 2 colors they charge you! Cut down, length, shape, break, gel, multi color everything. I'm so disappointed in how fast this place went down hill. read more

This place & the people were awesome. Had to work all day on a Saturday, didn't get off until after 5, had to pick up my daughter, I was way overdue for pedicure, & also wanted so bad to have relaxing massage, etc for my feet/legs with massage chair as well, by the time I got my daughter I went to a nail place but they were already closed it was 6:15 PM. I looked up place close to me, due to time restrictions for me and my daughter to get pedicures as we love to do this together she is 14 years old. I called Lavish Nails, the man that answered was great, I asked him cut off time of last walk-in if possible, they close at 7 PM, and I know they want to go home, etc. He asked how far away we were, I told him about 10 minutes so it would be 6:30 PM, & just wanted 2 Pedicures, he told me to come on in no problem!! I got there in 8 minutes. They already had the two chairs ready for us to sit in, the place was so clean, relaxing atmosphere, and the gentlemen I had spoke to greeted us right away. Everyone made you feel welcome immediately, I didn't feel that I was inconveniencing them & didn't feel like they were only staying open because of money. A woman worked on my daughters feet, and the gentlemen who I spoke to did mine. They let us choose our package, knowing that they may be there longer, and it was no problem. My daughter wanted stone massage, the package had hot wax, they threw in the stone massage for nothing, & when she was getting her toes painted, I knew she likes to have a flower on her big toes, she didn't want to ask, as she knew they were staying late for us, so I asked & the woman had no problem doing this, she was happy to do it, and they didn't even charge extra for that, when other places we have gone they do charge for design. They both did an extensive massage on our legs and feet, well more and better than we have gotten before at other places. I got the full package, price was extremely reasonable. Then when we were done, they led us to area for toes to dry, and never once made us feel rushed. In fact we were going to leave shortly after, but the man that did my pedicure, wouldn't let us until he was certain our toes were dry, so they wouldn't mess up. He gave own supply to bring back with you, and I like they use plastic liners in their tubs, on top of after removing liners when done with client they scrub them out even though there was a liner used. He offered us water, or anything else we would like to drink if desired. They even helped out with showing controls for chair massage, and when mine turned off, I wasn't paying attention initially, while he was working on my pedicure, another worker came by, asked if I wanted chair back on, and turned it on for me. My daughter talked about this place to others and we both said we are definitely going back. I love that it is close to our house too. Thank you Employees of Lavish Nails, you guys went above and beyond. I am definitely willing to look into what other services you offer there as well. read more
