We had just moved to Bristol and I wanted to find a nearby salon that would make my hair pretty again. I had a lot of concerns in regards to COVID (I'm higher risk and my dad is as well) and the colorist/stylist was extremely accommodating, which I really appreciated. She made me feel relaxed so I could enjoy some pampering. Everyone wore masks and they had dividers at each station. The colorist/stylist did such a beautiful job on the color, haircut and blow-dry! I was very impressed with her work. I will certainly recommend this wonderful gem of a salon to my neighbors and friends.

I asked for three to four inches cut off, and suddenly my hair I had down to my ribcage is a bob. She didn't use any products in my hair and didn't seem to even know what she could use. I had to tell her to stop talking just so she could focus on finishing styling my hair and I could leave. I'm really upset and disappointed that this is how it ended up.

The stylists are fantastic and really good at what they do the only issue is the boss/manager.. she's very controlling and not the nicest when it comes to helping her other stylists. I had a horrible experience due to her not listening to my stylist choosing proper colors which led to (boss deciding to take over cause she just felt like it) turned my highlights BRIGHT orange when we agreed with my stylist we were trying to go for a nice deep auburn. I felt horrible not just for my hair but for my stylist.- before I got to this conclusion I figured she knew what she was doing anyways so I didn't see it as a big deal, she even looked at the photos and said 'oh yeah, I know what to do I know what we're going for, she needs these mixes instead' my stylist went back and forth with her about the colors she chose but the manager insisted on her pick. This is probably the harshest review I've ever done but I still can't believe it happened to me. I hope if she does she this review it's just a small reminder to 'stay in your lane' and trust your coworker's decisions when they're one on one with their own clients. Luckily I was able to get it redone and done properly without the stress of the manager coming around and wanting to take over again.

Kristin never made me feel "less than" but every now and again we would have a good laugh over a giant root spot in the back I always seemed to miss coloring. Eventually I decided to let the expert take over my color and boy am I so glad I did! Kristin, due in part to her passionate desire to pursue the best product and education, has managed to achieve a color for me, that I have been dreaming of for years. My former salon and the box color just couldn't do it but Kristin sure did! I get stopped by strangers all the time in drive throughs, parking lot shout outs, by store clerks and customers. Before my hair was actually cut, they went over and showed me what they were going to do. It turned out absolutely what I asked for . Vibe is cool. Very relaxing in fact my daughter almost fell asleep when her hair was being blow dried, and I almost fell asleep on the couch waiting her appointment to be done so I could get mine. I corrected her stating I asked for a cut as well. She replied with "I do t have time to cut your hair". So I got up to leave. I was putting on my coat and the receptionist asked if something was wrong, so I told her. She admitted to making the mistake. First off, there was barely an apology from the stylist and receptionist. Second, I have short hair so it would NOT have taken a long time to cut my hair to begin with. Third, this was my first time at this salon. Not one person offered any solution. I was able to walk in somewhere else. I got a wash, cut and style within 30 minute. I definitely do NOT recommend Flair due to their unprofessionalism.
