However, thanks to this wonderful team, my mother's experience with her legal case went smooth and straightforward. They were able to accommodate to her needs as her English is quite limited. She was able to successfully win her case; I'm not too sure if any other law firm would have done so in such a swift yet professional manner. So I have updated this review once before and I have to say my experience has not gotten much better since. This is now year 7 of this battle, I believe last update was year 4. Updates: Husband is still injured, still no settlement, still going to doctors that are extremely far (by that I mean take anywhere from an hour to six hours, before traffic) and still no resolution in sight. We get calls from the doctors and the workers compensation people and set up appointments just to have Law at your Side call us the day before the appointment asking if we have made one and if so where. I understand again that an attorney or law firm takes on a lot of cases and may not be able to know everything going on but they also have case managers, assistants and other administrate people that work there and I would think that as a group they would be able to be a little more proactive. Its a very reactive group and maybe if you live close to them its different but thats the experience so far. I will say that the people are friendly for the most part so thats nice. Also, for those of you that have a workers compensation case, depending on the case and type of injury, you might have a "cap" of funds that you are allowed to receive. I tell you guys this to maybe help people not waste time trying to get "more" of a settlement when there isnt more funds available on the table. We asked another lawyer friend we had and found out that his case had a "cap" of funds allowable for his type of injury. I also dont understand the response from the business owner. I appreciate the response however, at that time I had emails unanswered from that same week as well as phone calls that did not receive call backs. Please dont make it sound like you are not at fault but understand the response as you are a lawyer and that is the go-to response. Deny what you cant admit and admit to what you cant deny I suppose. No need to respond to this as I think that might just frustrate me more in that its possible for someone to respond to a Yelp review but not to an actual client. This would be regarding my 2nd case, 2nd time with the firm. Once again the overall service needs some progress. My trial was on march 6th it is now april 2nd. I have been emaling case manager, to just get an update confirmation. On the outcome I have emailed him about 3 times 2 follow ups and no response since. When I heard the terms, and what would be the outcome i was absolutely dissapointed if the attorneys knew how much my case was worth. Why was it dragged this long. For the amount of money my case would be settled. I hope to recieve some sort of update confirmation. Regarding my settlement, cuz i have yet to hear back. And i have not heard back not even from the settlement team. read more

I'll never again use a law firm that doesn't have actual attorneys names listed...plus they're in LA, not San Diego so I couldn't even go to their office. Their office chick i had to keep dealing with was less than helpful and would only text me...not even answering all my questions, plus i couldn't get through to the actual lawyer that was supposed to be handling my case. AND...they said they couldn't help me RIGHT BEFORE the deposition!!! Whaaat? Screw those guys. I wasted 6 months on those clowns. Now I got a waaay better attorney who's kicking ass. Update to my original review: I'm surprised to say that I ended up with a settlement. However, that was only after taking the advise of the previously stated lawyer on what to ask for to get the settlement ball rolling. Had it not been for that I'm certain that I would have still been in limbo waiting for a resolution to my case. If you choose to go with this law firm just know you will have to constantly avodcate for yourself in order to move your case along at more than a snails pace. read more

I took my time writing this review because I believe it's important to share my experience with this law firm. I was referred to this law firm to represent me in a case. The only reason I felt confident in their abilities was because I was referred to them by a reputable law firm that had successfully won a case for my mother. As with any significant decision, I thoroughly researched and read reviews before making a choice. However, the reviews initially gave me pause, and I couldn't help but wonder if people were being overly critical. Despite my concerns, I decided to proceed with their representation, given the positive referral from a well-established law firm. I was with your law firm for about four years, and let me tell you, I only spoke to Dustin, my attorney, once. That was during the initial interview to see if he would take my case. When you're dealing with unbearable pain, work-related stress, workers' compensation, and doctors, you expect your lawyer to be responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, this law firm didn't make my case any easier. They have terrible communication skills, lack organization, and no longer have the 72-hour return call policy they used to have on their voicemail. They also show no sense of urgency in resolving issues or answering questions. With communication, I would send them a text, email, and call, but all three would go unanswered. (Yes, these cases require patience.) However, I wouldn't hear from them for months until I would call them every day because I would get frustrated not knowing what to do or when my work would start to give me trouble with certain things. I would have to send them a massage, reminding them that they had been ignoring my questions and concerns. I was the one responsible for doing their job as a law firm, ensuring that things were being followed through. As for organization, I had multiple people assigned to my case, each of whom seemed to have different information (or even incorrect information). Even after being with them for three years, I still had to correct them with the proper information I had been providing them since the beginning. They couldn't keep up with basic information. I reached a point where I expressed all my concerns and dissatisfaction to multiple case managers. I repeatedly requested to speak with my attorney, but they never followed through on their scheduling. I only spoke with my attorney once, which was just an intake call to assess if they would take my case. Imagine someone being compensated for your injury but failing to even bother to call you for something their own team had scheduled.This unfortunate situation occurred more than three times. I can provide more detailed information about why I strongly advise against using this law firm, but for my own sanity, I'll keep it concise. I became extremely frustrated working with such incompetent lawyers, which motivated me to seek a better representation. I was determined to find a lawyer who would provide me with the quality of service I deserved. I was fortunate enough to meet a new lawyer and a law firm that truly represents their clients. They work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that I receive the benefits I am entitled to and stay on top of all the legal aspects of my case. I am glad I made the decision to terminate my contract with this law firm and switch because my new lawyer has accomplished in less than three months what law at your side couldn't even do in about four years to achieve. one night been so stress out and feeling so defeated made me go back and read more about them, seen what i can do, i went back to the reviews of law at your side. Maybe someone has posted a positive outcome, but no. There was one person who wrote pretty much what i am writing, how he had such a horrible experience with them and switch lawyers and the new lawyers had made them won 5 times more. Etc. thats when i knew i had an opportunity to get something better and change lawyers. Now i want to do the same for someone who is in the same situation i was in and read this "Get yourself a better lawyer than this joke of a law firm." They don't call you back. I had a lady that was helping me with my case. She hung up in my face. She told me that she don't make copies. She was very rude. She didn't even know her job so I remove them from my case they sent someone to help me sign papers and the person that came didn't even have a ID. very bad business. I will iterate what most of the other LEGIT reviews have been saying about this company below. They do not seem to be a legit law firm, and if they are, it is quite possibly one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a workers comp/legal issue. I have had a workers comp case open, and have been attempting to settle for over 5 years at this point. Case managers, lawyers, back office people, and anyone involved in this law firm do not respond to any sort of request for information or call backs ever. They have a canned response, which should probably be automated at this point, that your case manager or lawyer is "on another line" or not answering their phone, and will return your call within 48 hours. This never happens. I have been requesting an update on my case, and a call back for 3 weeks straight, calling almost every day, and I keep getting the same run-around, and the same response, that someone will return your call in 48 hours. I do not understand what the difficulty is, in responding or updating a client on the status of their case, something that would take 10-15 minutes at most, which is what leads me to believe this is not a legit law firm. You will be shuffled between multiple different people if they do decide to take your case. I think at this point I have had 5 different people over 5 years contact me maybe once a year, regarding my case. Like someone else in the reviews pointed out, my case has been settled for over 2 months at this point, and I still do not have payout from the insurance company, and when I have tried reaching out to this firm for an update, I have not been able to contact anyone, or be provided an update at all. There were no proactive people involved in my case during the last 5 years whatsoever. I do not feel as though anyone is "fighting" for me, or being proactive at all. At BEST it seems they do what is legally required--filing depositions, doing 1 piece of legal paperwork per year, and that's about it, and you won't even be informed that that is happening at all. These reviews seem exceptionally catered, and be assured that it is NOT Dustin personally responding to these at all. This seems to be a customer service attempt at PR. If you have a workers comp case that needs to be dealt with in a timely manner, I highly recommend finding another law firm. read more

I only give it three Stars because of how polite and kind the actual lawyers were to me. Otherwise I'd give it a two. First off, don't expect to have the same lawyer all through your case. I got bounced around a lot. Which I didn't mind, most of the folks I worked with were cool. But if you only want to work with one person, this ain't the place for you. You'll have a paralegal assigned to you, but the lawyers you work with will change. Also, don't expect the head lawyer to be working with you. I've never spoken with him throughout the entire process, unless you count a letter he sent at one point. I wonder if the first time we actually communicate will be in response to this review. Second off, before my deposition, I had ONE HOUR to prepare with my assigned lawyer. I read up after the fact that sometimes you prepare for several hours before your deposition. Nope. I was completely unprepared. The opposing side went for the jugular, even though they had initially accepted my claim. Didn't matter. They tried to destroy my character, slander my motives, using every dirty underhanded trick in the book. I was threatened with jail time, even. Be ready to defend every doctors appointment, facebook post, doctors note, church outing, volunteer time, Everything! I had no idea it was going to be like that. The deposition was by far the worst conversation I've ever had in my entire life. I've never been so insulted, ever. The opposing side wants to make you out to be a villian, to the very core of your being. Be ready. I wasn't. Thidly, don't go into this thinking you'll get everything you want. My case didn't end up the way I had hoped, not at all. My career of ten years has ended with semi- permanent back injury, and after a 8 month workers compensation fight, I ended up with less than one years wage, a schooling voucher worth $6,000, and no medical care to help me with my injury. This is the only work I've ever done. 16 years of my life spent doing the same thing, 10 of it at this job, thinking I was going to retire there, then this happens. I suppose I went into this with higher expectations than I should have, but that's easy to do when the first person at this law firm you speak to hypes you up, leading you to believe you'll get all the things you're hoping to get. In all honesty, you probably won't. The first guy I talked to got fired. Maybe that's why. I dunno. The opposing side decided to play hardball, and cut off my workers comp checks, forcing me into a low-ball settlement, I thought somehow they could fight it, help me to continue my case. Alas, I was told nothing could be done. I chose to settle rather than end up homeless. Lastly, Expect to be communicating through text, email, and voicemail a lot as 7/10 they don't answer their phones, it goes to an answering service, and leaving a message with the answering service does NOT guarantee a call back. When you actually reach someone, and they say "you should expect to hear from so and so later this week" expect it to be at least 2 before you hear anything. I was supposed to get a call last week about how to use this schooling voucher thing. They said they have someone who helps you figure out how to use it, and I would be getting a call from them within a few days. That was on the 4th, I think, and it's now the 15th. I've texted, called, and left messages, and have heard nothing. Today I couldn't even get the answering service to pick up. I wish I could leave a better review, I really do, as they are some nice folks that seem like they care.... But seeming like you care doesn't equate to good communication, nor does it equate to a good outcome for your case. read more

This law firm is too busy to represent you . You need to wait 7 to 10 days before they can assign an attorney to help you with your case . I'm sad because I sent this law firm a lot of coworkers that got hurt on the job. II hope that this law firm does their job and help and represent them. read more

FYI to everybody it's very suspicious when a business has all 5 Star reviews and nothing in between, and then there is one or two looking like this.... UPDATE: I have found another lawyer to handle my case. And thank God because I went into surgery and as expected the workers compensation is ignoring any benefits to be paid out and any Physical Therapy I'm in need of. Thank God I found a new office because I would hate to be in the situation and have a lawyer that never called you back like law at your side does. Can you imagine coming out of surgery and in a sling and your workers compensation is ignoring you and the lawyer is ignoring you? I was not about to let that happen and thank God I went somewhere else. Even the owner confirmed that if they don't answer the phone and I should find a new office.... yes he told me that if they are unreachable I should look for a new office. I was very hopeful as the lawyer seemed pretty professional, actually they were like 40 minutes late to my 100 mile away from home deposition, however you will get swept under the mat. I'm very grateful to be at an office that at least pick up their phone and I can ask what's going on and they say they'll get back to me or I'm supposed to call them back. There's absolutely no communication with this office. I'm kind of under the impression it's one person maybe the lawyer and his wife and they have a voice changer and they kind of work like that but they can't address anything because they are overwhelmed but dont want more staff, or they try to find recptionest well versed in chewing gum and tapping their acrylic nails saying "no I don't know when you can get a call back.... no I can't put in a request for you to speak with a lawyer..... no I don't know what's going on..... no I can't leave a message for anyone..... no I don't know when anybody can get back to you" ... why even try to have a buisness. My case was settled over a month ago, and I still have no idea if my case was sent to the judge for approval or if it's still in the hands of the defense. How to begin with? I was working in chino Ave. and doing all the hard work for a penny, then one one day i was hit 2x by the patient who's withdrawing from narcotics, and the owner didn't do anything and one thing led to another thing and they end up laying me off, and in that time i was very distraught i met Atty. Dustin Saiidi that explain to me my rights and assisted me understand the process and what to expect. In short Law at your side specifically Atty. Dustin Saiidi and Atty. Adi was the best there is, they will fight for you and every time i call they assisted me fully and everybody are very nice and responded with respect. First off my initial conversation with Dustin and then Luis was good. I had an injury at work in a sensitive area, my chest. I was under the impression Law at your side would help. As the months and year and a half went on, I was given very few calls, my calls or texts were not returned often and if so it was 2-3 weeks or my calling again that prompted. One time the lawyer assigned never returned an important call and I was very uninformed about what was going with changes. I was receiving letters from former insurance companies not though the employer where I worked. As they had no unemployment insurance at all. During deposition Ian, my lawyer completely dropped the ball! He was on a call to someone else while the deposition went on and finally one of the unemployment board lawyers spoke to him telling him they could hear the call he was on. Initially he said before the deposition he would be there to help and it was a easy thing where the other lawyers wouldn't be a problem, 'this was his first chest injury.' Ian never jumped in to help me with the questioning when appropriate and let the uninsured lawyer rake me over the coals for 2 hours bringing up not pertinent circumstances to the case. Basically I was shamed. This was a chest/breast injury and frankly its kind of shocking how it was handled. At settlement due to the lack of legal help I did not get enough to do my revision surgery and will be putting in money for that. Please think about using this company because like I mentioned the initial two calls to main lawyers was great and then... no returning of calls, no updating me at all, deposition disaster and when the last lawyers were finished with the settlement agreement they were gone and the check was somehow forgotten and not sent until 1 and a half months later. Overall Legal advice was scant. read more

If you want a law firm that just wants to settle quickly for anything they can get and not fight for your rights as an injured employee, this is the place for you. They never respond to your calls or emails timely. They are always late to your hearings. I was at a a phone hearing listening to all the cases, when my case came up, they called for my lawyer and they weren't there and were about to move on. I immediately responded to the judge which surprised them that the client is present but not the lawyer. I told the judge I will represent myself but he postponed the trial instead. On a different occasion, I was at a phone hearing listening in but my lawyer didn't know I was there. I heard him lie to the judge saying he wanted to postpone the trial because he couldn't get a hold of me, which was a blatant lie. He never even tried calling or emailing me. This place is a complete joke for them to even call themselves attorneys. I could have represented myself and did a much better job if I had the time to navigate the court system. I ended up setting for a small sum that in no way will cover my injuries that I have to deal with for the rest of my life. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. They will lose the easiest of cases. read more

I DO NOT recommend Dustin or his team. They provide you with their office number and a 2nd number to also text them at. When I first reached out to them they responded real quick. But once they have your case, no communication. You cannot even get through office line. Just an automated voicemail then hangs up on you! My WC Dr could not even treat or speak with me today, because this law firm NEVER FILED the proper letter to my doctor to continue treatment or follow ups with me. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
