The dental assistant, Jasleen, was extremely rude and rushed through my daughter's cleaning in less than 2 minutes. When the doctor, Dr. Gangaji, came in and pointed out food particles still on her teeth--Jasleen half-heartedly claimed she "tried."It was clear she didn't put in any real effort. If she had, the teeth would have been cleaned properly. My daughter had just come from school, so we hadn't brushed her teeth beforehand, but that shouldn't have excused such a lack of thoroughness and care. Dr. Gangaji didn't remove stain from her teeth, that was the main reason we were there. I had to insist that the stains be removed, and after a second attempt, the teeth looked brighter but still not perfectly clean. It's clear that this dental clinic is not equipped or prepared to handle children's appointments properly. They should not even offer appointments for kids if they can't manage them with the care and attention required. I would not recommend this clinic to any parent looking for quality dental care for their child.

I called Dental Pointe and they got me in right away - evaluated my problem - wedged me between other patients (without inconveniencing other patients) - revealed my situation with x-ray photos - showed me their very competitive procedure costs - and asked if I wanted to go for it in about 20 minutes. Of course I did! Dr. Gangaji, the surgeon, did her magic and it was over before I felt any pain (individual differences could vary). Dr. Nicolette Michelson-Spencer is the best dentist I've ever had…read more Some context: - In my work, I've worked with Dentists and Orthodontists - I've worked extensively with oral care companies - I was a dental assistant in the summer in HS Here's what I've found in my mix of personal/professional experience - Most dentists give great dental care - Not every dentist loves being a dentist - Some are more aggressive at selling you add ons Dr. Spencer gives great dental care, but importantly she clearly loves dentistry. In my appointments, she regularly teaches her team and clearly nerds out about it. You want a professional who cares about their craft. I've had dentists who pushed night guards, and other add on services. Now I'm sure each had positive therapeutic benefits. But I also know many of these things are 80%+ profit margins. Dr. Spencer proactively tailored her dentistry to save money and even removed a service that was on my invoice that didn't need to be there. Bottom line, she's a one of one and the best dentist I've ever had. I strongly recommend her to others.
