I've been trying to visit more parks recently after learning puppies love new scents and places. Today I visited Rabbit for the first time. Granted, it was a weekday around 3 in the afternoon there weren't many people there. When I got arrived there was only one person in the mixed dog run with her dog. When I left about a half hour later, three other people showed up but everyone was in a separate dog run. The people I met were all very nice and I was told that the park rarely has anyone in the dog park area. I found that really odd because it seems like a nice park with a lot of room for your dog to get all of their energy released. read more

This park is awesome.... It actually is on two sides of the street. One side has a fenced in dog park, pavilion area, sand volleyball courts and soccer fields. The other side has basketball courts, baseball/softball fields and a football field. Plenty of parking on both sides, clean restrooms everywhere, duck ponds on both sides and 4 or 5 walking, riding trail loops spanning the entire park with multiple entry and exit points. Great place to come for some me time, exercise, or family gathering, bird watching, or just chilling. There are youth sports programs that are based here and use the facilities also. HUGE park!!! LOTS of soccer and baseball fields...sand volleyball courts... basketball courts... walking trails and playgrounds.

I live near Rabbit Hill Park and LOVE coming here on the weekends with my two dogs. The paved trails near and around the pond are gorgeous and always very clean. The enclosed dog areas are wonderful, clean, and always clear of any debris or trash that could be harmful to my dogs. My chihuahua loves the small dog enclosure, my pit-bull loves to play with other large dogs in the big dog enclosure, and they both go crazy over the enclosure with ramps and things to climb on! Rabbit Hill is a huge park, so even when there are tons of people there for soccer games on the weekends in autumn, there's plenty of room for running, biking, or just walking the trails. The bathrooms are always very clean and I always feel safe at Rabbit Hill Park. I'll be coming here as long as I live in this city! read more

Even though you may never see a rabbit at Rabbit Hill Park, this is a beautiful park. They host a lot of soccer games here, as they have the Dacula Soccer Club/Dacula Revolution here. Last week I visited the park as to do some training for the peacetree roadrace and the trail here is quite nice. It is less than 2 miles going around the outer loop, but overall the loop is fairly nice. The path is well maintained, they have an excellent playground here for the kids and pavilions that can be rented out. Overall, Rabbit Hill Park is great. This is a clean park. A big park. A great way to get a walk in while social distancing except for when it's busy... or if you're trying to play volleyball or basketball. Generally the biggest issue is avoiding geese poop, but overall it's a pretty chill and spacious place. I like to ride my bike here and I can usually do it without really interacting with people. The walking/running trail at this park is smaller than it looks on the map. The longest loop trail takes you around the perimeter of the park but it isn't as scenic, because it loops around the parking lot. The park itself is very well kept, clean, and lovely. There is a small lake, a very nice playground, some sand volleyball courts, and a huge soccer field. There are two sets of public restrooms. There are also a few pavilions that apparently can be rented out. There is a clean dog park here as well, but it was pretty quiet early in the morning when we went. Definitely a great park for large gatherings where you can enjoy the outdoors, some sports, and sit down to cool off in the shade or walk around too. There is a little something for everyone here! September 14th, 2013 - Grand Opening!!! Although this park has been around for years, renovations are finally complete and it is absolutely beautiful. I am so very proud to be a Gwinnett County resident. Gwinnett has an excellent portfolio of parks and THIS is a premier SPORTS park featuring 8 Soccer Fields, 7 Baseball fields, miles of walking trails, 2 very large fenced dog parks, multiple children's playgrounds, multiple sand volleyball courts, a beautiful eco-pond, 3 brand new basketball courts, an artificial turf football stadium, picnic pavilion and gorgeous landscaping. You'll find a huge multilevel playground near the soccer fields as well as near the baseball fields where small children can play securely while mom and dad cheer on their older siblings. Newly added is a Jurassic looking dinosaur playground with fossil climbing equipment and a cave-like rope terrain. Today's opening featured Gwinnett's Fire Department dressed in their best uniforms, the Gwinnett Braves Mascot, Gamer vs Gamer mobile video gaming, Kona Ice and the Department of Corrections showing off their state of the art prisoner transportation bus, a classic feature of their hotel hospitality services. The dog park here is exceptional! It has both large and small dog enclosures as well as a separate dog run for the more active pups of all sizes. All have good grass and mature trees that provide ample shade. The watering fountains are specific for dogs with an easy little hose to fill up the dog bowls. The other dog owners here are friendly and approachable. It's a nice place to sit, relax and watch Fido play. To enter the dog park, go past the roundabout feature on Rabbit Hilll Road, which is the first entrance and then turn left into the second entrance. The dog area will be on the right. read more

This park has many fields for all types of sports and volleyball um courts? Lol. Nice long paved trails and also shorter ones with nicer sceneries. They have a f need part for dogs as well! This is one of our favorite parks! My son plays soccer here. The park is always clean, there's usually someone there at all times to answer any questions or concerns. The concession stand is open most if not all days and there's a great walking trail that I can exercise on while my son is practicing. If you want to take your fur babies here, there's also a dog park area. It us sepearated so the big dogs and little ones can be safe! Beautiful little park!! read more

This park may be nice but how would I know. The traffic is so bad on days of events that you could literally spend an hour +finding the right field. This is an example of poor planning. The city planners should be ashamed of their park. read more

Hands down, my FAVORITE park for quick runs/walks, & definitely for the dog park!! Everyone here is so kind, with friendly pups! You can always count on someone to break up a pup scuffle (rare as they may be here), & pick up after their dog. Love the additions, & it's always so clean! I came to visit family with my dog and came here to let her run off some energy. I ended up taking her everyday of my visit. I met some great people and some well mannered dog. The area is large and we'll kept. You may have more fun than your dog. read more

This park used to be 4 stars , but after this expansion I'm gonna have to give it a 5 stars. It has a baseball field , lacrosse/football field , a basketball court , many soccer fields , a volleyball field. The only thing that could possibly make it better is if it had indoor waterpark or skatepark , but that's stretching it as far as it goes for the standard park. It also has a nice kids area which I can appreciate as it also has benches AND shade for the parents! I come here to run, and I love the scenery also. read more

My husband & I are new to the area near the park. I discovered the park one morning I was dropping my girls off at Dyer Elementary back in August. I couldn't wait to go home & tell my HB about this park. Later that same day, my HB & I rounded up the kids and head to Rabbit Hill park. We let our two girls go to the playground area while HB ran along the trail and my 10 mth old and I strolled along. There's a hugh pond in the center that's very breath taking and a lot to admire as you walked the trail. When we noticed there was a basketball court there, we later went and purchased a basketball since my HB is a fan of the sport. After our initial visit, we made it a family thing to do 3 to 4 times during the work. When the bb courts are available, my HB and girls (ages 10 & 6) would shoot around and he would often teach team how to dribble. You can also find the Mountain View sports teams having their games there. Overall, it's a great place to unwind and let the kids run free. It's very pet friendly and family orientated. When we have family/friends in town, we take them to Rabbit Hill. I can't wait for the warm months to roll around again. You'll find me swinging on the bench swing feeding bread to the ducks that call the pond "Home". read more

CAVEAT: Dog friendly park except for the soccer fields!! My son was playing in a soccer tournament and dogs were NOT allowed. Disappointing being as I'd read online this was such a great venue for pups. My choice: leave the dog in a hot car or miss my son's soccer game? Of course had to choose the latter and had to try to keep track of the soccer action from behind the fence and a field away. read more

I took my girls here past weekend and I was pleased with the park. The park is clean and newer. It has trails, a dog park, play grounds-one has a water pond for kids to soak their feet, and multiple sports complex which includes baseball, basketball, soccer, etc. read more

Nice facility. However soccer fields resemble a goat ranch. 80-85% is literally like a baseball field. Can't understand why it has earned the spot to host this particular tournament. read more
