The neighbors on Nextdoor all recommended this place and after my car mysteriously lit up error lights like a Christmas tree, I gave them a call. The gentleman who answered the phone (who I believe is the owner) listened to my issue and told me to pop by. On the call he mentioned that he would likely not have time to look at my car until Monday (it was midday Saturday at this point). No problem for me, so off I went. Check in was a little awkward, but mostly because they were busy and I wasn't sure what to do. One of the guys pointed me in the direction of a slip to fill out and had me leave my keys in the car for them. The main guy confirmed again that it would probably be Monday. Monday rolled around and I got a call pretty early. They had diagnosed the problem and wanted to try out a solution- not confirming that it would 100% solve the problem (my car had to be difficult). They gave me a price estimate and let me know again that this was a starting point and we'd see if it fixed the problem. Lucky for me- the first solution proposed worked like a charm. I got a call back within a couple hours to let me know it was all fixed. I confirmed their hours and scooted over to get my car! I appreciated that the guys were not only up front about timelines and pricing, but they were true to their word and stayed in contact. I felt very comfortable with the work that was done and have had no issues since (it's been about a month since the service). Go here if you have car trouble- it's a no BS environment. If you're lucky, you'll get a glimpse of the adorable pups that were hanging out in the parking lot on a Saturday too!

At a Mini mechanic claiming the same issue!RIP OFF! Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

It wasn't the cooling system at all. The diagnostic threw a code for the transmission temperature sensor. Was a diagnostic even done at Bert's? Transmission was a quart low. Fluid added, test driven and temperature monitored. Problem appears to be solved by our local mechanic for $150.

Customer service was top tier. The alignment is a bit pricier than some places at $150. They were able to do this within an hour. Now, I understand this place was terrible before. The staff specifically. (I went through the last reviews and did some digging of my own.) To my understanding the entire staff was recently let go within the last month or so for how they treated clients and their vehicles. It looks like they're on the right track to correcting the issues and the two men I worked with, Tony and I can't recall the other fellow's name, were great. I'll be returning in the future and will keep you all posted on the experience when that time comes.
