I needed a new place for auto maintenance since the mechanic I used on Gorge road closed during the pandemic meltdown. They readily accepted the oil I brought with along with the test kit I was sending to Blackstone for analysis. Upon the second visit I mentioned oil problems and he said to try a specific brand that was double the price. Needless to say, that resolved the issue with my vehicle in a huge way, the difference between selling and keeping. The engine no longer sounds like a helicopter. Recently I went to a body shop that wrote a $1,100 quote and all I wanted was a plastic grill swapped on the bumper. This garage quickly handled it for a reasonable price. Just to note, half the time I go there a vehicle is in the bay with its engine on the floor. To me, that means they are hardcore doers. read more

It has been three times that I have gotten gas at this gas station out of necessity that they have filled up my tank when I specifically asked for a numerical amount of gas. -The first time I asked for $10, cash, regular and handed a $20 dollar bill. The guy filled it to $22 and asked me for another $2... (That was my toll money. I had to drive home for more cash) -The second time I asked for $15 on my card. They filled it up and charged me $30. (That was money I was going to use to eat that day) -Just this morning I asked for $20 on my card and the guy kept it going until $27 and then when I asked for a receipt he delayed until I demanded one. I am not going to be purchasing gas from here from now on and will not be recommending this station as their inability to follow directions has inconvenienced me multiple times. Find other ways to increase your gas sales and stop scamming customers. read more

As soon as we arrived, Julio understood exactly what needed to be done. He and his coworker worked quickly and carefully to reattach and secure the mirror. They made sure it was properly bolted and firmly secured, rather than simply doing a quick temporary fix. The quality of their work was outstanding. I was able to drive close to 180 miles without worrying that it would come loose. That peace of mind was incredibly important to me. What impressed me just as much as their workmanship was their honesty, kindness, and empathy. They were straightforward about what needed to be done and never tried to make the situation more complicated than it was. They understood that we had just been through a stressful accident and went out of their way to help us when we really needed it. Julio and the team at M & J turned a very difficult day into a much better one. There's a slight price difference of additional $5 to $10 since last we visited; however, the prices are truly reasonable compared to nearby auto garages. I was told that the prices will go up in 2026 so if you haven't changed your oil yet, I would totally go for it before that happens! As per usual, they did more than just the oil change, they checked for pressure and brakes, as well as windshield wiper fluid and gave a once look over to see if there's anything that needs to be addressed right away. They never try to upsell anything and never felt any pressure to do any kind of service with them. Beware of this place! I went in for a simple tire change (seeing all the positive reviews), but…read moreafterwards the owner told me to follow him into the shop because they found other problems. He and his mechanic then proceeded to shake two of my wheels which shook pretty bad, telling me that it is dangerous to drive around like that and that I had to get additional things fixed. He then showed me his estimate for the job which was pretty high. Frankly, when the wheels shook like that, I panicked a little and thought about getting it repaired then and there despite the cost, but then remembered a time when another mechanic did something similar at another shop (showing me shaky wheels) which turned out to be nothing but a scam to scare naive customers into spending more money. I took the car to three other mechanics, one of them a friend of mine and just as I suspected, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wheels. Upon closer inspection, it seemed they either loosened a bolt or two somewhere behind the wheels to shake them like that to scare the customer (me), then tightened it back again when they realized I wasn't taking the bait. The owner seemed nice enough and competent at first, but I think they take advantage of alot of customers this way, especially women and some of the Korean population here, so I would really beware of this place. I could only imagine how many other of their customers have already fallen for sneaky, underhanded stunts like this to scare them into dishing out extra money for repairs they never really needed, including some of the positive reviewers on here, unbeknownst to them. I've even heard of some shops that actually break parts that were perfectly fine going in to drum up business, so always get SECOND or THIRD opinion whenever a shop 'shows' you sudden costly repairs that you apparently need. You will end up saving hundreds and hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs. Also, it goes without saying, but never trust how nice or accomodating they first appear to be. All that means nothing.

I have a jeep wrangler so they used my spare tire on the back. I told them beforehand that although the nail was there, I never recieved notification on my dashboard. They also informed me that they were unable to patch/plug it in. they were experts/truly experienced, they would've tested the tire for Air, but instead they swapped out my spare with the "nailed tire" and told me I needed to pay over $300 for a new tire. Andre did the swapping. I just so happened to be passing by another tire shop in the area and they told me that the nail didn't penetrate the tire and that a new tire wasn't necessary at all. They also informed me that had mavis tested the tire, I would've saved time ...and money. Mavis just wanted to make a quick hick instead of retaining a loyal customer. Hate scammers A manager called me today at exactly 2:21 pm and apologized after hearing that happened. Total scammers here !

I found D&S after work on March 5th, this was the day of the morning snow storm. The day that AAA…read morerefused all towing requests due to the State of Emergency which Christie declared. So I had no choice but to grind & roll my ride at below 5MPH on unplowed River Road to a shop after kissing the curb a mile away, fortunately all the drivers were also going slow and being respectful around me. The damages were to the hood, front quarter panel, front suspension system and the drive axle. The front right wheel was pushed back and canted inward at the bottom, a very sad state to be sure. Vinnie, Tony, David gave me the the reassurance and help much needed on that sorry day. Later they also communicated with my insurance company, negotiated a cost and two weeks later delivered a car that had been restored both mechanically and aesthetically back to full glory. These are honorable guys who have decades of experience. I'm really happy with the results and plan to bring future maintenance work to D&S. Another plus is their location right next to Hertz, Enterprise rental, and White Manna burgers!

I am writing this to warn people to stay away from this place .... horrible experience

Gazzani Motors will be my go to spot for any car issues going forward. I have a 2009 Altima Hybrid…read morethat would not accelerate passed 22 mph then had all the (bad) dashboard lights turn on.I had one mechanic tell me that the hybrid battery was burnt and that I had to take it to the dealer. Another told me the ECM needed replacement but a regular mechanic can't fix it... Well luckily I found Gazzani motors who are not regular mechanics- they're experts! John Gazzini was a class act and great at communicating upfront about what my necessities were. He also saved me roughly $800 by making sure to throughly examine both the hybrid and general components of the car to isolate the issue. John fixed the car in 2 days, presented a very reasonable price, and has a true wealth of knowledge on what he does. It's hard to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic prepared to handle any incident. I'm sold.
