When we walked in we were greeted by Mrs Cheryl, one of the owners. Her and her husband James operate this cute bakery. They were both really friendly!! Mrs Cheryl told us about all the items, and gave us some recommendations. She was very patient. The mini cheesecakes are $4 each or you can get a half dozen or a dozen. They'd be great for birthdays or gatherings. I certainly recommend trying several flavors. We got the biscoff, butter beer, and kit kat, cheesecakes, a lemon bar, and some cookies. The butter beer and biscotti were my favorite choices. The biscoff had good flavor and the butter beer was similar to butterscotch. The kit kat was ok, it just wasn't my favorite. I added caramel to it at home and I liked it a little more. The lemon bar was a decent portion and cookies were good also. My daughter enjoyed hers also. Make sure you eat them cold or the texture will change. So chilled is definitely the way to go!! They're in a good location, with plenty of parking out front. We were in and out with no wait. Always a fan of Ube and Cookie Butter! Though if I had to pick, my number one choice is Ube. My kiddos also loves the dirty sodas, and will simply ask yo swing by for just a soda haha. I did notice they work in tandem with Beach Bum & also Sundae Scoop, two incredible businesses we also frequent. Parking lot is vast, store is very cosy and owner is super sweet. The Ambiance the fragrance in the air is just super inviting I love it so much and not to even mention but I will mention the service by the owner... stellar! She just has a sweet Spirit about her I can feel her energy definitely the love is there and I believe the love is even put in every ingredient that's used to make these wonderful and most delicious desserts...we call cookies... I visited this shop for the second time and I must say 10 out of 10 she did it again! Every big celebration calls for a Twisted Sister cake!…read more We celebrated our Hokie's graduation with a Raspberry lemon cake and it was a hit with all of our guests. They took all of our ideas and created a masterpiece! and it tasted amazing too. They were very quick to follow up and were patient with our emails. Ordering was painless and the pick up was perfect. It was packed great and made the trip to blacksburg with now problems at all. We will definitely be back to enjoy more cakes and cupcakes for all of our special occasions ( and just a sweet treat for any day too!)

I will usually decline if it's offered - unless it's made by Heartsong Creations. To date, I have had 4 of her cakes. They were all moist, flavorful, and fresh. The cherry on top is that she is a professional woman with a caring demeanor when it comes to her service. She is a pleasure to do business with, and has become my "go to" for all my cake needs.

She explained a little about the business and helped my friend and me decide which flavors to try. We got the Content Cookie (Cookies-N-Cream), Blissful Banana Cake, & The Torta Turtle jars, and all of them were so good! I really hope that Jár Moí makes a return to Selden Market so I can try more of their goodies. Actually, looking at their website, it looks like they offer an array of different delectable treats, so I will be getting more acquainted with Jár Moí in the future.

We also grabbed a shortbread cookie, which was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And let's not forget our pup! Lexi got a pumpkin cupcake with peanut butter icing, topped with a tiny bone-shaped treat -- not only adorable, but she devoured it. Definitely pup-approved! They are so friendly and so sweet! We were greeted with smiles and they were always so attentive with our orders. They were very efficient in getting our yummy treats to us too! My friend got a cupcake and I ordered the fried Oreos. They generously put some chocolate drizzle on top of the fried Oreos and that made them extra scrumptious! I am so grateful for the warm and friendly owners and staff, the excellent taste of the desserts, and for the overall great experience!
