The food was really really good. My friend had the beef nachos; they had a lot of meat and just the right amount of cheese. My other friend had the chicken tacos and her only complaint was that they didn't come with cheese, otherwise, she said they were super good. I had a burger (I think called the Yankee burger?) which was delicious; they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked but it came out deliciously well-done, with a side of salad. I've been to plenty of hookah lounges and this one is now one of my favorites! The staff is fantastic, constantly changing the coals for us, and were extremely nice and accommodating. They have card packs and also board games maybe? We requested a deck of cards and sat there for three hours playing games and smoking. The hookah is great and pretty strong, we got peach and orange and got them on a pineapple and grapefruit. We also ordered chicken wings and mozzarella sticks, both decent, and they have some kind of fancy lemonade which was surprisingly delicious. The friends i came with said that it's their go to place to even just sit and study while smoking, and i can see why--it's a great ambience. I'd definitely come back. It came out to 20$ each for the four of us, including two hookah, two small plates, and two drinks so i have no complaints. read more

I would give them six stars if I could. Honestly, the best hookah place in Astoria, hands down. I've been to a lot along Steinway and this one is BY FAR the best. They don't overcharge you for anything and their staff actually seem to *gasp* LIKE their jobs, unlike every single other place on Steinway. The hookah even tasted better here, they sent us a free dessert when they asked us to change tables to accommodate a larger group, which was completely unnecessary and way too kind. We'll definitely be coming back, such a great atmosphere. They even have games (cards/checkers/Uno) that you can play at your table. Great, great place. You should definitely check it out. This place is like a second living room to our friends, my husband and myself. We can come here during the day to work or study and come at night to hang out and chat. We're literally here at least twice a week and almost every weekend. Staff: Everyone that works here is really welcoming and friendly. They're more than happy to help if you dislike anything at all and try their best to fix it....you just have to ask. They're all inviting and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. Food: They care about their food. The current owner is actually a chef (and an amazing one too). They really care about the quality of their food. Even though we've eaten here a lot, the owner will still comes by every now and then to make sure we're enjoying our meals. You can tell they take pride in the food they serve. That being said, the food is delicious (no matter what you order) and very affordable. Hookah: They have a wide diversity of flavors and it's one of the cheapest hookha's in Astoria. The hookah's last for a while and they're good! If you want more coal all you have to do is ask and they'll happily rush it for you. Ambience: The place was recently renovated very nicely. It's clean and modern looking. They keep everything super clean, including (thank God) the bathrooms, which are cleaner than most places I've been. The music can get a little loud during weekends but if you ask for it to be turned down, they turn it down. So a place where if something should go wrong (which 99.9% of the time it really doesn't, for example, we've never gotten a bad meal), the staff is more than willing to fix it for you if you just ask (if you wan't more coal, just ask for more coal....=-) I've never been to a place where the staff is so agreeable and hospitable and on top of that, it's a really nice place that serves amazing food and good hookah. read more

So the food is decent. But unfortunately, if you are looking for alcohol, this is not the place to come. If you do not drink alcohol, then this may be a nice for you. My friends and I came, and seeing there was no alcohol on the menu, my friends and I just drank our bottle of wine we brought with us. It was nice and all until a guy came to our table out of his way and took the wine away from us. He even took the glasses we drank out of and replaced them with new ones. I mean I understand if your establishment does not allow alcohol, but you could of just said sorry but we do not allow alcohol here. It just seemed really over the top and borderline hostile. If you do want alcohol, however, you can literally walk 3 blocks down on Broadway and there is a lovely hookah bar with outdoor seating. Oh and the air ventilation in this restaurant sucks, you'll probably suffocate with all the smoke. The hookah place 3 doors down has open windows and ventilated much better. read more

I love Hookah. I've been to quite a few hookah spots and this one definitely stands out as one i'd return to. The hookah is cheap $8-10. They use a disposable hose, chance coals frequently, and have a really great flavor selection. We had 1 hookah between 2 people (code69- starbuzz) and it literally lasted for the whole 3 hours we were there (unheard of!!). And we were smoking and doing silly things like blowing rings and such the whole time. By the time we were leaving, the smoke was still thick and flavorful. The food was really good as well. He had the lamb kofta w/ fries. I had the lamb shish kabab w/ rice. My lamb was really yummy and moist. Our waitress was attentive and really nice. This is my favorite place to come not only to smoke my hookah, but also go come and eat. The food is delicious. They also have delicious mixed fruit drinks, tea and coffee. They are consistent in their flavors so once your taste buds fall in love with something here it's guarantee that every time you return it will be as it was your first time! My hookah lasts the entire time I am here- I've tried almost all the flavors, but currently my hookah flavor is double apple. Let me just start off by saying that is probably my favorite hookah cafe to go to for many reasons. During the weekdays, this place is very calm and relaxing, so I usually go there by myself to study or do some paperwork. The staff always check up on me to make sure if I need anything and that I'm comfortable. On the weekends, I meet up with a bunch of friends there and we always have a blast. I always end up making new friends every time I go there, too. The hookah here is top-notch and consistent. Every flavor that I've tried here so far is amazing. I tried orange mixed with some bubblegum recently and it was so good! My go-to is orange on an orange fruit. The food is also great! I love their burgers, especially the California burger because it has avocados. The falafel is so crispy and delicious. Well my associates wanted to smoke hooka so they insisted about going to this place...I was not smoking but when my associates requested an extra tip they were ignored, the waiters spoke among themselves in their language and a costumer or employee (not entirely sure) told my associates that an extra tip is just to make you feel better, that all the germs are in the tube and thats why they had to be doing an indirect kiss, because there was no difference....I am glad I did not smoke, but I was surprise, everywhere Ive been they always give each person a tip.... All in all, I would definitely come here again on a good night out after some partying. My boyfriend and I were looking for a new hookah spot I checked out from Yelp. Got a fresh orange head on our hookah that was excellent lasted good the whole two hours we were there. Order a couple apps and got amazing service and hospitality the moment we stepped in til we left. Owners even add some truffle fries and a cheesecake dessert on the house for us! We will def be coming back. I think we found our new regular hookah spot to hit. Oh and they showed us the back that has a nice rooftop open spacious area I didn't even know existed.
