I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing evening. I'm not into hookah cafes that are rowdy. This place is very clean and the hookah was very good. The service was amazing. Hookah is very very good here. It's put together right and doesn't burn fast. The problem is it takes forever for the coals to come out. The hookah guy has an attitude and won't clean the shisha bowl from the ash unless you bring it to his attention. The food is average. We ordered the chicken Tikka roll which was good. I recommend it. We also ordered the fitoor burger which was just odd, a burger with a grilled chicken cutlet on top. Meat was cheap quality, just avoid. We also ordered the chicken Tikka burger which was the same as the roll but in a bun so just stick to the roll. Chai was very weak and Luke warm, just not a good chai. The staff was not only knowledgeable about their extensive flavor selection but also went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience. The cozy ambiance in the back room (I recommend this area because of the couch seating arrangement vs table and booth), combined with prompt and friendly service, made it a memorable evening. Double Apple tasted more like Strong Pan flavor and Hulk Smash lost its flavor 30min into the hookah ... For the Price they charge, not worth it !!! Also Bubble Tea , we tried Taro and Mango both filled with tooo much ICE and bubbles were horrible and they need someone to teach them to make better bubble tea. 2 stars only given because of new decor and customer service. Came in here around 9pm on a Tuesday night in July. Place is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The music kept switching from American/Latino to bollywood/desi. We were greeted and seated with menus that lit up (pretty cool). I asked for reccomendations of their hookah flavors, the server couldnt really suggest any. After requesting to try soemthing without paan masala he broke the bad news to me - "... most of my flavors have paan masala." Hookah is 22 dollars, though they have a decent list of mixed/flavored hookahs, that list becomes really short when you dont like pan masala flavored hookah. We ordered the Black Rose hookah, two burgers with fries, mozzarella sticks, a mango kiwi drink and a lime lemonade since they did not jave Red Crack at the time. After trying the Red Rose hookah, though the server was roght about a suttle hint of pan masal would be present, the hookah quickly became harsh and pan masala flavor more apparent. I HAD to get another hookah - hulk smash. Everything was basic or mediocre. For my first time here, i was not impressed, quite the opposite. I will return and give another shot though. read more

Ikram was the best thing that ever happened to Fitoor. Protect this man all costs. He was so kind and he took the time to address us by our names. The masala fries and mango habanero wings were great appetizers. We wanted to try the pain puri shots but they were all out so we'll definitely be coming back to try those. I recommend the blue paan mix that ikram suggested to us, it pulled well and lasted a long time. This is a hidden gem..in the middle of Fresh Meadows, close to Queens College and St. Johns. Always a great vibe with the music and their quality of Hookahs. We ordered a ton of apps and some tea and everything came swiftly and tasted great. Our server, Sandeep was awesome. We ordered fries which was stale, the Grape fruit masti hookah tasted BURNT, fyi they charged $25 hookah, mix and match $4, and $3 for hose.. WHAT on earth is mix and match? i didn't ask for any mix. 5 mins into the Hookah we told them hookah flavor taste burnt and horrible, they changed it and charged us $10 for that. We got bubba tea in a plastic cup which was $10 each. They also did a auto service charge for $16. we were 3 people and paid $96. We will NEVER go back again. read more

First off, Complete 180 from how the place use to look as Cloud 9. The new owners have done an amazing job creating the place, very classy vibes. I absolutely love all the wooden and garden accents, it compliments everything so well and truly makes the atmosphere alone an experience. The VIP area especially, really comfy and cozy. The way they have the couches set up, you get to have that intimate private feeling with your group. The VIP area is great place to throw a birthday party or even just a casual hangout. Food: I am absolutely obsessed with their lamb chops, by far the best lamb chops I've ever had. Extremely tender and flavorful. I haven't had everything on their menu yet but I also really love any one of their fresh ground beef burgers. I find that it's very rare to find a good burger nowadays, that too being at a hookah lounge, so that was a great surprise. Pair that with a nice hot cup of chai or a cold refreshing mango bubble tea and you're set. Finally down to the Hookah, My top favorite flavors at Junooon are hands down anything mango. So their Mango Lassi, Mango Masti and Chilli Milli are a must for me. Besides Mango, I really like their Dabang, Black Rose, and Dabang Remix! Pulls really well and very smooth, also last pretty long, and they're very good with coal changes. I love that all hookahs come with a lotus head. Overall the amount of thought and effort Junooon has put into their lounge is truly phenomenal. Not to mention there is always parking around unlike steinway or anywhere else. Came here the day after heavy rain in NY (Sep 21')- was told that was the reason an order of wings took 90+ minutes to be served. Perhaps this is a reason to close the business for a few hours to ensure you are ready to serve customers. Menu states 10 wings, when order came out 6 were on plate. Told this differs based on if you do hookah or not (but price was the same when paid.) I did observe multiple individuals who came after me, yet were served their food (wings and fries) first; before my party. If you are a male and not friends with the staff and owner, you are put on the backburner. You may as well be trash and have to practically beg a waiter to attend to your needs. I don't do hookah and just came for the wings. I liked the vibe as a pedestrian and stopped in. Maybe because I did not order a lot of food I was low priority. That's an unfortunate mentality because if the food was good, I would have ordered more. 90+ minutes is simply unacceptable. No apology. No discount/nothing to make this better. I sincerely hope you learn to be hospitable to all your guests, regardless of what they order and your criteria for favoritism. You'll end up like so many businesses in the area if you hold onto this high school-low culture mentality. read more

I was really excited to try this new Halal place when it opened but I was pretty disappointed. My friend and I ordered the Junooon burger and the American standard burger, which were nothing special. However the worst part was waiting over 25 minutes for our order only to see that the Buffalo chicken wings we ordered were freezing cold... we were so upset that we barely ate the meal and decided to leave.
