Beef & Lamb Gyro Wrap Combo

DELICIOUS! This was my first time going here and I did not expect it to be a fast casual place, but other than ordering at the counter, they don't make it feel like it. We shared the fully loaded hummus and then each got an entrée. My Gyro came with a side and decided to get falafel. I probably wouldn't do the falafel again as it did seem extra crispy like maybe it had stayed in the fryer for a bit too long. The euro was huge! My friend had the bowl and she for price to size ratio, it's definitely a win! We split baklava, which was not traditional. Rather than the filling in between each of the layers, it was filling in the inside and chunks of the Filo layers on top and bottom. Street parking all around and very close to the water if you wanted to go take a stroll after eating.

This local institution is on a corner in what might generously be called Augusta's downtown; it's one of the few places that is consistently lively. I'd already had catering from them, but stumbling in needing a quick meal, I was pleased to find an early evening happy hour offered cheap pitas. While healthy options were plentiful, I got falafel and fries. My sandwich was dynamic, the falafel garlic-y, and my fries deliciously breaded. There were plenty of other options including dessert, and knowing there is a happy hour makes it even more likely that I'll be back with some regularity.

Came here on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised! We were looking for a salad to tie us over between dinner and this place ended up being the spot. Parking can be found on the street in front of the restaurant or the medians (?) have parking too they're a little hidden until you drive passed them. This place is so very clean and they play great music, it is not too loud for a Wednesday early evening. We ordered the Greek Salad and added on the Chicken Shawarma for protein, about 3 minutes later our food came out. Wow! So fast! The salad is a PERFECT size to split or to keep to yourself. Everything was crunchy and the flavors were delicious. I will definitely be coming back :)

I do not mind paying for good food, but I do mind paying good money for a tiny serving. This is a small humus. I order this quite often and usually get 2-3 pieces of pita and the bowl is full to the top with humus. This is my second visit in a row receiving stingy portions. $$4.47 for Less than 2 tablespoons of humus and 1 piece of pita.

We had a terrific dinner last night with the parents. Parking is free and ample on the street and in median lots. You can order at either the table or at the counter. The turnaround in the food is rather quick but they did mess up our order but they quickly rectified it which I appreciate. I love the fries here. The parents enjoyed their food as well. I plan to return in the future and sample the gelato.

Chicken Shawarma Wrap with French Fries. Delicious! And salty!

First review of the new year (finally)! Let's go! We've had Laziza on our list of places to try for a while. I wasn't sure what to expect honestly since we are new to the area but I was happy to see the menu looked pretty good. Prices are a little high but my husband claims that's about average for Mediterranean food, so I can't really complain! I got a chicken shawarma wrap/gyro and fries as the side. It was honestly delicious, and about $13 I think. Heads up, the food is salty! Like, pretty extra salty. I love salt so that wasn't an issue. The chicken was moist and flavorful, and I really loved the crispy fries. My husband got the feta fries to share ($3 extra) and I thought they were incredible. Portion sizes are excellent and make me a little more comfortable with the prices. We both ate our entire wraps but ended up taking some fries home because we were too stuffed to eat them. Love leftover fries! Service was good but minimal- you can order from your table using their app, or they have an iPad up front to order on, OR you can order from a person working the register. Their adult beverages looked good but we decided not to indulge today (hard to resist the $5 house sangria- next time!). We went right as they opened on a Saturday and there was only one other table, but it seems like a place to be quite busy during weekday lunches and weekend evenings. It was clean, it's nice not to have to bus your own tables, and it's a good corner spot with lots of light and in a decent part of town. My only complaints/suggestions- pickles in a wrap/gyro like that are weird to say the least, I didn't really enjoy that part. And the feta or kalamata additions to the wrap shouldn't cost extra, they should really just be included (and price adjusted as necessary). I'd much rather have those than boring pickles. Oh, and it would be cool if they were opened on Sundays.... But that's a southern struggle. While we had a good experience, I don't think this is a place we will frequent a lot, primarily because most Mediterranean food I can make myself at home and for the price it's just better for us to do it that way. However I'll definitely recommend this place to others and go back when I'm not in the mood to cook myself!

This was a happen chance stop on my unplanned day trip. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back NEXT WEEK! I liked the vibrant signage, inside was clean and inviting. Staff friendly and ready to explain dish if needed. Food was great! The flavors were soooo good and authentic. Feta fries served hot s d crispy! It's served with an unexpected sauce I didn't like but my best friend loved it. I also had the chicken shawarma bowl and ALL ingredients were fresh! Best friend had salmon taco and feta fries. I wanted a bite lol! I even ordered my husband a steak kebab plate for lunch tomorrow. I thought the dishes meals are served in was a nice touch as wel

The seating was comfortable, had tons of cushions so it was definitely a vibe. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Came to the table the right amount of times and was pleasant as anyone can ever be. The food was on point! The gyro meat was seasoned to perfection. I opted to swap the rice out for their veggies and it was a great call. There were bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms in there which complimented the meat perfectly. Their tzatziki is homemade and the perfect contrast to the dish. I'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner soon!

I've always gone with and recommend the chicken kebab. It comes with about 4-5 pieces of grilled chicken, yellow rice, vegetables, and side of tzatziki sauce. The grilled flavor of the chicken just mixes so well with the rice, so having that clean "chicken & rice" meal while maintaining the awesome flavors. The menu is pretty diverse, despite Mediterranean being their speciality. They offer other American dishes like burgers or even pizza; never tried them though, but options are there to diversify. Right now due to Ramadan, their hours are adjusted for dining in, so they stop seating people around 7:30pm. To go orders are the only option; not a big deal for me though. I highly recommend people to try this place out if they haven't; seriously a solid 4 star dining establishment!

The owner brought me something to try that he was eating for dinner, and I don't remember what it was, but it was made with quinoa and was a bit spicy! Whatever it was, it was delicious... He was charming, sweet, and very nice! He really made my day! The food is delicious, and the staff are very sweet... Excellent dinner experience!
