I went here when it first opened and it seems a shadow of its glorious old self. Everything was "okay." Nothing was great. Nothing was bad. Our server was polite and my iced tea was kept filled so high marks for that. The seating is old and caving in. You could feel the supports on your bottom and it was not comfortable at all. I ordered a lunch legion of the Kung Poa chicken and my friend had the luncheon burger. Both were tasty. My portion (and I do not eat a lot for lunch) wa minuscule. 8 little bites of chicken for almost $20 seems a bit outrageous. It did taste good but was not a value at all. It is a good place just not great any more.
Great staff, attentive and busy on a sunday. Drinks refilled as needed and the sauce options were brought to the table in a timely manner. Sandwich based meals for our party. The baja burger had a decent flavor with a quality meat option. The dipping sauce for the fries also had a good unique flavor as did the sauces (sweet bbq, mustard base, hot, soy base). Don't forget to sign up for their birthday/mailings, ended up with a discount free burger offer the morning of due to signing up for the emails. A little noisy if sat by the prep area the staff works at for food but not unbearable.
Celebrated Mothers Day lunch here with my party of 5. Boy was it busy!! Waiting area by the hostess stand was packed like sardines. Even with my reservation, we waited about 10 min to be seated. Loved the food! We got 3 small plates/apps for $25 which I think was worth it. We got Cajun fries, edamame, and bacon cheddar biscuits. All good and did the job, but nothing spectacular. We all ordered different dishes, from ribs, steaks and pot roast. I loved my pot roast! Meat was nice and tender. Great comfort meal. Boyfriend substituted coleslaw and got a huge chunk of watermelon. Thought it was weird at first until realized was juicy. Service was good but not memorable; you can tell everyone's going thru the motions of the busy restaurant.
Our server Britney was great, and the food was perfect. We dined outside bc the weather was so lovely. We didn't bring our dogs bc they are a bit "barky" - but we got to enjoy all the patio dogs, all well behaved...and some enjoying the hearty $5 dog dish. Fun! Food: hubby got the lunch portion of Chicken Parm...he said it was okay. I got a lettuce-wrapped Swiss bacon burger (I need tomatoes on the side) and their delish apple cider vinegar coleslaw. Everything was cooked to perfection, and so tasty. The slaw was just right; not too sweet OR tangy. The flavored tea with an orange slice was refreshing. It was our first time here, but definitely won't be the last.
I had the best bison meat loaf ever here! The gravy was amazing the vegetables were cooked to perfection! The pot roast dinner was also very good. They have a huge menu with lots of choices. The service was fabulous and the restaurant has lots of cute dog decor. We will be back for happy hour deals.
Went there yesterday for Sunday brunch. We ended up order from the regular menu, first the salmon with brown rice was so good! Tender and tasty! The nachos were not my favorite, I would give it a 3 out of 5 maximum, it was too greasy for me and lacked more tomatoes, guacamole and onions. Their black and blue hamburger was a bomb of flavor! Sooo good. Service was ok, they were pretty busy. Ambiance is nice and welcoming as always with lazy dog.
As we continue to come back to Lazy Dog for the great food, Great Service that Brittini gives us and the ambiance. This is one of out favorite restaurants in Temecula. The food is always great and the selection keeps us wanting to try something new. Thank you Brittini for making each visit special.
From Chicago, second time at Lazy Dog. Here are some thots: --We had a large group of 12 people. I think our waiter is the best waiter I've ever had. Excellent! --Menu is superb, 4 or 5 things I wanted to try. --I ordered the blackened chicken burrito bowl. It was good, not great. The veggies were soggier than I like them. Overall, I am usually a food first guy when it comes to reviews, but the service was so good, I would highly recommend LD, and try something else next time.

Whether I'm with one of my buddies and we go to watch a game and have a beer and some pub food at the bar, or date night and a good dinner and drink, or this time around. We came down with all the kids for Sunday brunch and it was just a fun relaxed environment with great food and service. Huge range of foods on the menu from great salads and appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, classic hearty meals, or even some Asian foods on the menu. I've never had something here I didn't like. Right now I am all about the ahi tuna salad.. they bring you an extra dressing if you want it for your salad, but I don't ever put it on. The salad is just tossed with the right amount of flavors and I eat it as it comes. Huge bonus said it's only 500 calories. Haven't even had a chance to mention yet that you can join the lazy Dog craft beer club which has an incredible mix of partnerships from many breweries that I'm sure you've been to or at least heard about if you enjoy good craft beer. Love that you can always bring and sit on the outside patio space.
Our second visit to this location and they really do things right. Ethan took care of us- even made sure we had a heater since it was getting cold outside. The atmosphere is friendly and caring. Food was good, came out in good time and portions are super generous. We indulged and got desserts which were great too. The butter cake being my fav. Oh and they served food for our dog which is a huge bonus. Overall, great experience and this location, in terms of food and service, is better than a couple other locations of Lazy Dog in So Cal.

It was a cold Friday night in Temecula and I met with some of the family to grab some comfort food. They ordered Brussels sprouts and Buffalo chicken for the table (I didn't eat it) but they all really enjoyed it. I got my go to tofu teriyaki bowl without mushrooms, my sis got the soup and everyone else grabbed a burger. Our waiter was very accommodating and even asked the other waiters to use the other door (we were sat in a booth in the back, the outside patio door was cold chilly air) and since there was no other booths we got stuck there. So yes part of our dinner was met with a wind chill but the other half we were able to enjoy the hot food prepared for our table.

There is parking available right across the road,and some metered parking right in front of the restaurant The ambient music was initially very loud. But they responded to our request to turn it down lower. As other lazy dog restaurants, I loved the decor. There are plenty of seats available. We sat inside at a regular table. The lighting Is a little dark. If you're a little older with sight impairment, you might need to use your phone to light up the menu. We ordered drinks first. And they came promptly. I ordered a very pretty drink which was delicious! We ordered cheese curds and buffalo chicken nuggets to share. Food was good and fresh! Around the table, we ordered a variety of food. Everyone said it was good. Also, the menu is new!! I ordered the road trip bowl korean bibimbap. Good as always The refill of drinks took a little longer to come. My mom In law had ordered a refill of iced tea that took so long that she had forgotten she had ordered it. Also, it's got a dog friendly patio. Only service dog allowed inside Overall, a decent place to eat.
First a foremost my visit to Lazy Dog was to obtain a quick after cocktail or craft brew to toast the end of a work day and return home for the evening dinner. Rodrigo was our server and promptly took our order and continued to ensure our experience was perfect. Ordered some onions rings and two beverages while seated outside for some people watching while basking in the cool breeze. Overall it was nice, and I will return at some point to actually dine having viewed the menu. read more
Lazy Dog is one of those places I keep coming back to--and for good reason. The atmosphere is super inviting and spacious, which makes it perfect whether you're out with friends, family, or even your pup. Yep, it's totally dog-friendly, which I love. They even have a menu just for dogs! The variety on the menu is impressive--there's something for everyone, from burgers, salads- even to small plates and comfort food favorites. The onion rings were crispy and golden, the burger was juicy with perfectly melted cheese, and the fries were seasoned just right. I also tried one of their redbull drinks with the tajín rim and it was so refreshing, packed with flavor. Our server was genuinely sweet and took great care of us--checking in, and giving great recommendations! The food came out surprisingly fast, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It's the kind of place that feels easy and fun without sacrificing good service or quality food. Plus, the fact that you can bring your dog along just makes it even better. This Lazy Dog is my favorite so far! We went in as a group of 5 for Happy Hour and the server told us the entire restaurant serves the specials, you don't just have to sit in the bar area. At 5ish, it wasn't crowded at all, lots of areas to sit. Great decor and vibe inside, comfy booths and cute design with the dog statues. Parking was close in the structure nearby. We ordered several items off of the HH menu, and everything was so good! The price very reasonable too. I got the house Chardonnay on HH pricing, only $4! What a deal. We will def be coming here for now on. The servers were so sweet and gave us awesome service. Thanks team! read more

Always a favorite place. They didn't have the calamari dish here. Usually, I use the appetizers and lunch as a main which you can order all day. Menu could be overwhelming but they have a good variety. For kids, wasn't too much a fan of the teriyaki but this place is still a fav read more

Dined here and the food was excellent. Our party of 4 enjoyed Baja Burgers and Pulled Pork sandwich. The sides were onion rings, cajun french fries and cucumber salad. The cajun french fries were too salty. My pulled pork sandwich on a brioche bun was good. Not a large portion of pork, but was filling. I ate it with a fork because it couldn't be picked up with my hands. Our waiter was great. He checked on our needs often and it was a comfortable feeling, because the restaurant was busy. I usually frequent the Torrance location, but I came here to meet a friend for lunch. I ordered my beloved Ahi bowl, the bacon candy and the butter cake, along with a non-alcoholic fru-fru drink. The tuna in my bowl was old; it was tough and smelled a bit fishy. I didn't want to make waves and complain as Cali and I really love this chain, but my waitress insisted on talking to the chef on my behalf. He admitted it was seared the day before and re-heated; they kindly comped the dish (though I'd eaten everything else around it!) I tried a new drink; Jamaican-something with coconut milk. It was lightly sweet and very refreshing. Oh, and it photographed well! Cali had her usual beef patty cooked a perfect medium with the peas, carrots and rice. They didn't offer the option of brown or white rice here, but that's okay. Overall, I love the ambience, theme, and everything about this chain. I look forward to trying a burger myself soon. Visiting Temecula, we went looking for a unique place to grab some dinner and found Lazy Dog. With a parking garage nearby we parked and got to the restaurant quickly. The vibe was nice and casual and we sat in roomy booth. Our waitress was friendly and good with recommendations and popular selections because the menu was very big! We settled on fish tacos and pot roast. The fish tacos were deep fried and yummy. The pot roast was pretty normal, we'd probably try something different next time as there are many options. read more

I visited the Lazy Dog for the first time was pleasantly content with the quality and flavor of the food. I ordered the Thai noodles and replaced the peanuts and tofu with broccoli. It was perfect! The flavors mixed well and the texture of the noodles was savory with the sauce! Highly recommend for those who have a taste of Thai food or a satisfying noodle dish. The service was good, I like the waitress. She was very attentive and kind. And the ambiance was very spacious. The restrooms were clean and the set up was unique in conjunction to the name of the restaurant. Overall, it's a nice experience to hangout with friends or family. read more
I absolutely loved my time at Lazy dog. It's a fun themed restaurant that has lots of great options, I was lucky enough to try the chicken pot pie and it was really filling and yummy. My girlfriend had Nonas giant meatball and she also found her meal to be delicious. Our server was super friendly and it made for a great experience. We will definitely be back soon ! read more

Took my husband to this location for a late night birthday dinner. Arrived around 1030 on a Saturday so the place had emptied out quite a bit. Easy access to parking in the garage area, nice and cozy location. We ordered the street corn tater tots, the beef birria yakisoba, and the korean ribeye bowl, and the strawberry lemonade. When I tell you everything was so good. It was delicious. Portion sizes are great, flavor: great, and time from order to table: quick. The waiter who took our order (Brian) was nice and attentive. He checked in on us regularly. They do provide military discounts. I would definitely recommend. I was skeptical at first as I had a not so good experience at another one of their locations but they made up for it. Total for all of the food we received $62 after military discount. I felt like we got what we paid for and more. We will definitely be back. read more

My friends and I went to Lazy Dog to celebrate my pup's birthday! We had a great time and our server even brought out whipped cream and a candle to sing Happy Birthday. I ordered the Loco Moco and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Small downfall was the overhead heaters were not working. It happen to be very cold that night. read more

10-10-10-10!!!!! Wife and I went to Lazy Dog this past weekend for my dogs birthday. What an AMAZING EXPERIENCE all the way around. Jacob was our server and I wish I there servers when we go out to eat were like Jacob. Super friendly and his suggestions were perfect. Very professional and attentive as well as respectful with my dog. All of our food was delicious! Our plates were clean including my dogs plate because we finished everything! Drinks were on point, cauliflower ceviche was crazy good to my surprise. Like I said just a 10 experience all the way through. Thank guys the experience and hiring great staff like Jacob. read more

Not crazy about the food but a few items were good. Service was good. Atmosphere fine. Best were the edamame and coated crisp French fries. Salmon and steak good. Pot roast too mushy. Thai chicken salad was mostly cabbage, thumbs down on that one. Lemon chicken, teriyaki chicken were good. Lettuce wraps are on romaine and hard to wrap. More of a boat lettuce. Family dinner, most liked it. Hubby and I didn't really care for it, but we picked up the tab. read more

Lazy Dog Restaurant exceeded my expectations on every level and that is the reason I became a beer club member! The many choices of appetizers were a delightful start, flavorful and perfectly portioned for a replacement to a meal. The beer selection was diverse and impressive, offering a fantastic complement to the overall experience. The main dishes were outstanding, showcasing quality ingredients and expert preparation. By far our favorite dish is the Campfire Pot Roast. They also have frozen dinners which are pretty tasty and won't break the budget. What truly stood out was the excellent customer service which was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. This place is a gem, and I highly recommend it for a top-notch experience! read more

Not bad at all! Tried Lazy Dog for the first time, so here's our take in a nutshell. Just give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Great service, fresh orders upon arrival, and quite unique items on the menu. What we ordered: Coconut shrimp (8/10) All American burger? Overall I do enjoy the food here and there. I think we may have chose the wrong options for an American style restaurant. The crispy rice was pretty good. I probably enjoyed it the most out of everything, the main courses were okay? The Birria I wouldn't recommend it. Unless maybe you're not Mexican . Just because it's not authentic, it doesn't taste like Birria and overall taste wasn't very appealing. The burrito bowl wasn't bad I saved it for later to work with it at home. The service was great I loved our waitress she was very sweet and helpful. And the restaurant is very beautiful! very cool style restaurant! Again no hate towards this establishment. They might need to work on their recipe more with the Birria my boyfriend was very disappointed. Overall not horrible ! But it was 90 dollars so our experience wasn't the best for the price we paid. read more

Yes, the location is closing on September 10th, 2025 according to an email they sent out. So it should be open on 08/22
Since it's February its cold outside after sunset, do they offer sufficient outdoor heaters just in case? I'm planning to have my birthday dinner there soon, just don't want to die in freezing cold with my dog and family.
Yes, they do have outside heaters, and in the summer they have mists. Its great! Happy birthday!
Do they show the football games on sundays during brunch?
I'm sorry, I don't know because we ate outside because we had my son's dog with us. All the dogs have to be outside. You should give them a call and see what they have to say. I know you will enjoy your visit - Good Luck
