Wow. Where do I even begin with this review. I did not expect this quaint coffee shop nestled on…read morethe corner of a shopping plaza to really blow me away the way that it did. For starters I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a coffee snob. It's one of those things that I can enjoy a multitude of ways, but experiences that go beyond plain enjoyment are few and far between. When I tell you...this is the best quality coffee I've had in Houston I am not bluffing! I've had both the Cashmere and Jade coffee, both hot and iced and they absolutely never miss. The drinks coming out of this place have been consistently fire, so this isn't some one-off shop with a good selection or two. Menu selections are impeccable. Drinks are crafted to absolute perfection. Lines do tend to be long but service is never lacking. Staff is polite and efficient. Not to mention last time I went in there someone was vibing to all the Drake hits which further contributed to the "hipster quality coffee shop" feels (biased preference I know haha). I don't have a single complaint!!! Will absolutely be returning and would endorse this spot to any and everyone looking for quality crafted coffee drinks!

THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I really wanted to give this place 5 out of 5 stars, but here's my honest experience…read more The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and welcoming, so that's an easy 5/5. I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

I pulled over in the first parking lot I could find and opened Yelp to help me find something. I'm telling you all of this because I ended up walking into Le Drip and ordering the "Egg Coffee", knowing nothing about it. Now, I've been on this earth for a minute and I've drank a lot of coffee. This is among the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Certainly the best I've had in recent memory. What I'm saying is it's in the running for the best coffee drink I've ever had. The egg cream is thick and eggy, which I loved. The coffee itself is bold with a strong coffee taste. The cream is dusted with a heavy shake of cinnamon and it all melded together into a delicious concoction that I couldn't get enough of. If you're looking for a memorable coffee drink, I would recommend giving this spot a shot. Tell 'em Big D sent you.

The famous Egg Coffee didn't stand out at all from all the praise it receives. I expected a rich, creamy coffee experience, but I couldn't find any coffee essence at all. Instead, the drink was overwhelmingly sweet from start to finish. I was also excited to try the new Lychee Jasmine Matcha since it sounded phenomenal, but it ended up being my least favorite. The lychee flavor completely overpowered matcha, making it hard to enjoy the drink. Overall, it was a good try but it wasn't cup of coffee.

We ordered the iced pistachio latte with almond milk and the sweet chocolate iced blend with almond milk and a shot of espresso. Both drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I'm very delighted that I've found a coffee shop that has a pistachio drink that actually tastes like a pistachio! The customer service was fantastic, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, although not as spacious as many coffee shops it's still manageable, and we saw online that they offer monthly barista classes. I most definitely plan to return to this establishment!

The barista helped me pick out the perfect latte. I got the Island Latte, which the barista told me has toasted coconut flavors with a hint of pandan. I had them make it semi-sweet... There's limited seating inside, but I found a small table to get some work done (wifi access with purchase). It was a bit hot and humid inside, so I was a bit uncomfy. But that's Texas summer for ya!

As a coffee lover with an adventurous palate, I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, this experience was unrewarding. We ordered three drinks the Anna's Special, iced white chocolate almond latte with almond milk, and an iced pistachio vanilla latte with almond milk and none of these drinks lived up to their names nor the listed ingredients that were listed. The coffees in my opinion were flavorless, watery, and underwhelming. We picked a cocktail at random to try which was the Anna's Special and trust me there was nothing special about this drink other than the prices. This establishment has some really good price options when it comes to coffee, cocktails, pastries, wines, and other beverages. The barista's were very friendly, welcoming, and sweet. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. I ordered a churro latte with whipped cream and it was absolutely delicious. I also grabbed a blueberry muffin, and they warmed it up perfectly. The outside had a slight crisp while the inside stayed soft and moist. The atmosphere is what really sold me. There are cute outdoor tables, cornhole games, fun artwork throughout the space, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I pulled out my laptop and got some work done comfortably, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover they also serve alcoholic beverages and stay open later in the evening. It feels like a coffee shop and neighborhood hangout all in one. Whether you're looking for a place to work remotely, meet friends, enjoy a coffee date, or spend time with family, I highly recommend checking this place out. I'll definitely be back!
