I went inside the business yesterday to ask about a foot massage and there was a price list on the counter. The lady came out and started talking to me and said she could do the massage right away. She quoted me prices that were $10 more than what the price list on the counter said. I questioned her about that, and she said the prices have went up. This place gets a four only becuase my massage therapist spent at least 25 minutes on my back and got out my knots. He did not do the the traditional 15 minutes of rubbing on head and face, which I don't care for. We didn't like the misrepresentation that one of our foot massages would be 10 minutes later because it turned out to be more like 20-25 minutes. The rest is the same as the other foot massage places--not a lot of privacy, speak Chinese during the massage; the atmosphere is on the plain side and here, the lighting in the reception area is too bright. First time my husband and I came here a few weeks ago late at night like 9:30 , both of us got 25$ foot massage and it was amazing, a guy did mine , he was super nice and really did one of the best massages I've ever had, my husband loved his also. Stay away! I get foot massages regularly, but this my first one here. Called ahead to make sure their was availability for my husband and I to get foot massages. Yes. Waited awkwardly in the room for 10 min. The massage was very light and no effort was being put into it. They left the room for over 5 minutes twice. Worse even was that the 2 women were talking to each other the whole time! They directly asked for tips and we said no and walked out. My husband and I flew the family to San Diego for the first time for a family vacation and needed some pampering from all the daily activities. When we finally got some time to ourselves, we decided to come here since it was closest to the hotel and opens til 11pm. (Ding ding ding!! Red flag!!!) I felt so uncomfortable especially when I noticed the clientele that were coming in were all male. ----fast forward The massage was decent. Why only decent? Well, it lacked something called "quietness"!!! Those ladies couldn't STFU and had an ongoing conversation the entire time!! And it was quite obvious that the lady massaging my husband was disrespectfully flirting with him in my presence. How? Well she told him he was a "pretty man" then went on to ask him his age and joked if she was tickling him. I've been coming here for quite some time and have brought several friends/new business to them. The $2 credit card charge has always been annoying, but not that big of a deal (the most annoying part is that when you give them a total amount to charge- including tip and $2 fee- they usually add an extra $2 on top of your amount and pretend like they misunderstood you). Recently, the prices went up $5 for most massages- again annoying, but still pretty affordable, so I went with it. When I went this week, the woman behind the counter told me there was a required $10 minimum tip. I questioned her- not so much because of the amount- but because you can't have a minimum tip policy. She laughed smugly and and insisted that was the policy. Some other awkward conversation ensued, leading to the most non- relaxing massage ever (I should have left but was sort of shocked at the rudeness of what had just happened). At one point, there was a sign in the lobby asking customers to please tip at the front desk so they weren't asked for extra money in the massage room, so obviously this has been a continuing issue. Reading the other yelp reviews just confirms that this is a widespread problem. There are a few other foot massage places within a block or so. I am going to find a new place to bring my business. read more

I mean where else can I get an almost full body massage for $20? This place is a steal. First, you need to realize that its only $20, so your expectations cant be too high but its great! Yeah they talk during the massage if you are in a room with a companion, but its still very relaxing. They massage your head, neck, shoulders, upper back, arms and feet! Do no go here!!! Coco gave me a very bad massage and she literally took $20 out of my wallet when I was face down on the table. When I went to my car after the massage I noticed this and thought real hard before going back in to confront the establishment. When I went back inside to confront the front desk lady, Coco was at the front also. She had cash in her hands like she was discussing her tip with her colleague. When I confronted her she was quick to apologize and gave me back my $20. It was like the massage room was set up for this type of a scam. You walk in and there is not even a chair or table to place your clothes after undressing. She points out 4 hooks on the wall which is arms length from the table. I believe this is set up this way to make it easier to go through pants and take cash from customers wallets. Since your pants are hanging on the hook it avoids the need for them to shuffle around with your pants making suspicious noise. Also the face hole is set up to were you are unable to see anything. She also turns on a space heater on the floor close to the head of the table (another noise muffler). The heater was way to hot so I had to ask (point) her to turn it off. This review may cause Coco to change her name. She is middle age almost looks more Filipino than Chinese. She speaks almost no english. Who knows, maybe the lack of english is part of the scam. I been going here for years! The Manger is awesome, friendly, and good customer service. Half the staff doesn't speak English, but, they understand enough for hard, soft, or deep massage. My regular girl left so I haven't been back for a while now. She was good and did my massage just right. I do recommend going, but when I went was late evening because of my work schedule. was very relaxing. Angela walked on my back for a good 10 minutes and was very aware of my sore neck and stiff shoulders. She made sure to keep asking if the pressure was ok when she could tell I was tensing up. They need to do something, I suggest chiropractic wedge blocks or ??? also, I don't mind hearing light voices, or occasional talk, But why play Enya and dim the lights to create a mood if you are going to whisper a conversation for 10+ minutes straight. My favorite $20 foot massage place, and I have been to quite a few. You get a private room. The staff is friendly. The place clean. You can book a singles or couples massage, same day. Like everyone says - it is a one hour, full body massage. 30 minutes of the massage is focused on your feet and legs. The other 30 minutes focuses on your head, arms, and back. You stay dressed during the massage. However, you do take your shoes off because they soak them in a hot bucket of water. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I still like getting therapeutic massages better. The massages here cannot take the place of those massages BUT at $20, I don't expect them to. :) read more
