Highly recommend! Marsha and her team are professional, just lovely, really care about your well-being, and do a wonderful job with the massage and making you feel relaxed and well taken care of. Business woman who really loves what she does and makes sure you're taken care of. I had a big group of gals to accommodate for and she was so flexible and accommodating and made it work. Initially I had 17 gals, and she was willing to take on the challenge of accommodating, but fortunately, we cut down to a more reasonable size of 10 gals. She was able to track down her therapists and had them come in on days they typically wouldn't work to serve us. All were phenomenal and so nice and kind. It's located in the tennis club, so you'll have access to the jacuzzi but not the pool. It's in a nice area that overlooks the pool and beautiful trees and outdoors. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. In ANY country! Luisa was AMAZING! The offer both indoor cabins and outdoor private cabanas (for no additional charge!) but with the temperature in the 100's, we welcomed the cool AC and the soothing massage music! The room was very clean and nice. We both wore our masks which I appreciated. I told Luisa about my back issues and she immediately laid me down on my side and proceeded to work on both halves of my back for the most relaxing hour I've ever experienced! She found and worked out all my kinks!! Her pressure and techniques were spot on, it felt like I had 4 hands on me the entire time, it was THAT fluid!! The remaining 30 minutes (I got the 90-minutes Swedish) were spent on the rest of my body as she applied hot stones & towels on me and I swear I was disappointed when I knew it was ending. Can't emphasize enough that Luisa was so sweet and genuine!! I've been WFH since quarantine started in March and she even taught me how to stretch my back using yoga techniques and reminded me to ergonomically position myself when I sit and work. I'm SOOO extremely glad I found MASSAGE EXTRAORDINAIRE. The name says it all. This really was an extraordinary experience. My friends and I are booking our next appt for 4 weeks out. Hands down, best massage experience I've ever had. Marsha is everything I've ever searched for and expected in a great masseuse. She has been in this industry for about 40 years and is able to have an idea of what is going on with your body when giving your massage. My girls and I were in town for our friend's Bachelorette weekend and had arranged for a Bachelorette massage spa day here. Keep in mind that this was completely last minute and one of the girls had called two days before coming to see if we could get this all put together. When Marsha heard that we were planning for two days in advance, she laughed hysterically over the phone and told us how last minute we were LOL oops! Despite our procrastination, Marsha was able to create such a beautiful and seamlessly relaxing day for us girls and the bride to be! We walked into a tented canopy with grapes on the table, champagne/water in the fridge, and the comfiest looking robes sitting on the chair for us. We were in heaven and absolutely felt spoiled. Marsha and her employees took four girls one hour at a time while the rest of us lounged by the pool or hot tub, relaxing the day away. There is also a bar and a shack where you can order food which was all very delicious. Onto my massage. She told me that my shoulders were really tight, probably from sitting at a computer for extended periods of time, bad posture, and stress. She also told me that my jaw muscle was super tight probably from clenching my jaw at night unknowingly, which could be the reason for my frequent headaches. I was so blown away that she could tell all these things going on with my body when no other masseuse I've been to ever informed me of. After years and years of massaging thousands of bodies, this lady knows her stuff and really cares about her clients' well being! Towards the end of my massage, she recommended some awesome people that she knows out in Utah for me to go to for my issue areas. Overall, I am in love with Massage Extraoidinaire, and will 100% come back whenever I am in the San Diego area. Marsha was so kind and caring. We did have a little mishap but Marsha was understanding and we were able to get it resolved right away. The massage therapists were wonderful (thank you Susy and Barbara!), however, the owner is not. I had a massage that went very well, for a great price so I sent my husband to get a massage too, since I had such a great experience. About 10 minutes into his 1 hour massage, the owner knocked on the door, opened it, and then proceeded to have a conversation with the massage therapist about if she could take another appointment after my husband. I have had many massages before and to say the least, this is unacceptable and unprofessional. It totally unnerved my husband, thinking someone else would come in, and it took him a long time to totally relax. He even considered cutting the massage short, but was too uncomfortable to do that. The massage therapist then told him that she hates when the owner does that, which she does often. When I called to complain, the owner placed the blame on my husband and said he was grossly exaggerating. That she didn't see him in the room, and that it was 30 seconds at most and could not have ruined his massage. Customer service? I don't think so. I will not be going back to this place. I booked their services for my wife's birthday party, which I hosted in my house. I dealt directly with Marsha (owner) over the phone from the very start. From my experience, you always get the best customer service when you deal directly with the business owner. She made it known right from the start that she wanted to earn my business and showed that she was very willing to work with me and accommodate my request (like I said, great customer service!!). After speaking with Marsha, being the type of consumer that I am, I still searched around the Internet and called other places prior to booking with Massage Extraordinaire (MassExtr). The day of the party, Susie (from MassExtr) showed up on time (as Marsha said she would). Susie didn't take long to set up. She allowed me to dim the lights of the massage room... had her own 'soothing' music. And my guests were able to take 10 minute turns in the massage chair. Some guests repeated their 10 mins if there was no wait. All in all, every guest got at least two rounds of chair massage. Susie was there for just over 2.5 hours, and the quality of her massages never decreased. Her pressure was firm even at the end (but she can customize the pressure, as desired). All in all, it was a great experience! I am very glad that I booked with them! I would recommend them 100 times out of 100! The service, quality, friendliness, reliability, flexibility, and GREAT ATTITUDE was much more than I expected. I would not hesitate to request their services again (and again and again!). From the beginning, Marsha was so easy to work with. I was planning the bachelorette party for my best friend who lives in San Diego. One of my bridesmaids contacted Marsha to set up a massage experience for my bridal party and I (6 of us in total). Marsha went above and beyond by setting up an amazing cabana area for us with decorations and an amazing food/beverage spread. It was beautiful!
