I just want to start off by saying this place is the best! Everyone is so personable and kind and you can tell they care about the fur babies! I was very pleased with my first experience yesterday. I brought in my sick fur baby Oreo (feline). The service was quick and I was able to get his blood work done and start the process of finding the root of the issue. Thank you so much to the doctor for explaining his bloodwork results in detail and making sure she answered any questions I had. She was not dismissive at all like other vets have been towards me in the past. Thank you LBC Vets for being a great help! Their prices are very reasonable as well! Also! The staff are great! HONEST Review... I drive all the way from the city of Orange which is 5 miles East of the Orange Circle, so it takes me 45 min just to get down here. Heard about this place through a friend whom I adopted kittens from. Dr Budzinski took great care of my eldest cat "Vinny" and I liked the fact that she did a detailed check on her whole body including the inside of her lungs and a bunch of X-rays on her bones, and other organs etc. I also had Dr Munoz perform a physical check including Ultrasounds to check for fluids on both my other 2 cats to prevent FIP. Both doctors were very informative and answered all my questions, making sure all pets were taken care of. What separates this Vet from other places is that they do these detailed checks to make sure the animal is fully taken care of. This clinic seems to do their job with honest care for the animals, in a patient manner. Other vets I've had in the past do fast checkups and they charge too much money. read more

Also very very reasonably priced, I called around to ask for pricing and they were the most affordable option... but you wouldn't have guessed that by how nice and clean their office looks. They have plenty of parking and are situated in a pretty busy street. They let us spend an hour with our pets, and we didn't feel rushed at all by their staff. Being new to the area, we haven't selected a new vet. Unfortunately, or fortunately, we had a small emergency with one of our dogs. He was vomiting, shaking and had diarrhea for about 14 hours. It came out of nowhere. His diet and treats have been the same for years. Our daughter (vet tech) suggested Lbc Vets, so away we went. It's about 15 minutes from home, so that was perfect. When we arrived there was a small line. We were greeted by Sasha. She was very sweet and took down all our pertinent information. Because we were there for urgent care, we knew there would be a bit of a wait, and that was fine. After about an hour wait, we were escorted to a room. It had a chalkboard with thank you's from pet parents that I thought was very endearing. It calmed my nerves seeing their sweet notes to staff and doctors. Dr. Kessler came in and had such a calmness about her. It put both of us at ease. She recommended subcutaneous hydration and an anti-nausea shot in the office, and probiotics to take home. I think the bill was about $300. I'm happy to say he's fine now and we don't have to look any further for a vet! read more

Worst vet experience I've ever had. I most definitely don't don't recommend going there for urgent care. This model of having "urgent" care while also having appointments just simply does not work. They prioritize appointments and severe urgent cases(that should just go to the ER down the street if you ask me) so if you fall in between those 2, you and your pet will die of old age waiting to be seen. They took my immunocompromised dog in the back to take vitals and told me they'll set me up in a room to see a doctor "soon." I sat in the waiting room for 2 hour without my dog and no one even came to speak to me. I finally asked where she is and why like 300 people have come and gone while I still sat there and one of the techs told me the doctor who looked at her got pulled into surgery so another one is going to look at her now. Then finally someone(not a doctor) came to ask me if I agree to run labs. I asked how long it would take and they said they will expedite and it will take 20 mins. Thirty minutes later I asked them to give me my dog back because she is immunocompromised and I don't want her sitting back there exposed to god knows what and they said they are just now taking blood and will bring her out. They sent me to a room and once again said a doctor will be right there with my dog. Another 30 mins later, I saw half the staff come out to see one of the receptionist's dog since her partner was visiting and I completely lost it. They have time to come out for that clearly but not to treat my animal. I told them they need to bring me my dog asap and finally they brought her out. One again I was told doctor will be right out. Another 30 mins later I was done. I walked out and asked to pay and for them to just email me the labs. Instead of apologizing the receptionist got defensive and argumentative and told me I won't be able to get my labs unless I speak to a doctor and FINALLY by the grace of God, one of their doctors blessed me with their presence, just to more or less waste my time. I originally brought her in because of uncontrolled bleeding in her mouth potentially due to one of the treatments for her autoimmune disease. All I needed was for them to stop the bleeding and run CBC. By the time someone even saw her, apparently the bleeding just stopped on it's own. So since they felt like she wasn't important enough to treat, instead of discharging her to go home, they just kept her there hostage after I repeatedly kept asking them to bring her out to me and insisting she should not be back there with all the sick animals due to her condition. They might be fine as regular vets, but this was the most absurd, negligent urgent care experience I've ever had. I have been to the ER down the street and the other urgent care on Anaheim and I have never spent more than 45 mins there, nor was I ever separated from my animal for hours without my consent(if we're being honest). They literally kept her back there this whole time exposed to God knows what for no reason. Now I have to wait and hold my breath hoping she didn't catch anything. What's concerning is that they didn't even bandage her after they took blood. They just left the blood on her leg, which is absurd considering I took her in for uncontrolled bleeding. Literally the point of urgent care is to take animals who need to be seen right away but are not serious enough for ER. If someone is more serious than uncontrolled bleeding + autoimmune condition + heavy chemo medication potential complications, then they should be in the ER across the street!! At the same time, if you they can't be bothered to treat an animal, they should sent them home instead of holding them hostage. I probably would have spent another 2 hours there if I didn't threaten to leave. I was there for over 4 hours and spent $465, and there was absolutely no empathy or remorse or accountability. For reference my dog is 9lbs and has brain lesions and can barely walk or hold her head up. She is losing her hair from the medical treatments and her mouth was having uncontrolled bleeding from one of her treatments. That's who they decided was not important enough to treat or be sent home or even get bandaged. read more

I was contacted about my previous review and I am so grateful for the acknowledgment in taking our pets serious, if you are like me they are not just dogs they are my kids. Today Luciano my Frenchie decided he was going to jump out the window of my Toyota Tacoma. Luckily we were not in motion but considering the height it was a bad fall. I had no appointment and was added to the list as an emergency walk in, once they finished with schedules and a room became available Luci and I were able to get in (waited about 1 hr 30 min). The staff is yet again the friendliest most hospitable , lobby bathrooms and exam rooms are extremely clean and sanitized. Do NOT bring your pet here if it's an emergency. My sister brought her cat in after she became lethargic and unwell. The clinic advised her to leave the cat overnight, ran multiple tests including an ultrasound, and yet provided zero answers. We had to call every four hours just to get updates and see if we could pick the cat up--but each time, they said they were still "pending results." We finally picked up the cat at 10 PM, only after we called again because we didn't want to be charged for another overnight stay. At that point, they still had no answers. My sister paid over $2,000 and was sent home with her sick cat and no diagnosis. Even after bringing her home and following up, the clinic still had no results to share--only that they wanted to do more testing. I was the one helping with the calls and picked up the cat myself, so I can speak directly to how frustrating and unprofessional the experience was. This place is either a shady money grab or dangerously incompetent. Either way, beware. Read the negative reviews--they all echo the same experience. I got my sweet boy Luka back in December and we have been to LBC Vets twice since then, for routine work and concerns. Everyone at the front desk is always so nice and welcoming, and you can tell they love what they do. That also includes the Vets. We came in as an emergency as our regular vet has become increasingly difficult to get in to see. We were greeted with friendly and helpful staff that assured us we could be seen. We waited for a bit as they were busy, and after about an hour, one of the techs explained to us that they had just had an emergency themselves and would be closing for the night. Without going into detail about that here, once they realized our visit was urgent, they still saw us. It was apparent the Dr we saw was upset by the news they had just received but still held his composure and gave our dog amazing care. We will definitely be bringing our furry babes back here. I am very impressed with LBC Vets! I was a bit skeptical of ALL the great reviews at first because as most pet parents know, most clinics have major mixed reviews. However, I had a great experience here and will likely move my two cats to this vet office as their primary office. PARKING, LOCATION, & AMBIENCE // Parking is super easy with a ton of spots. It's in a small strip mall off of Clark near PCH. The inside of the clinic is very clean and modern. You can tell they just opened 6 months ago. SERVICE // Service here was fantastic from the front desk receptionists to the vet tech (shoutout to Alex!) and the vet (thanks to Dr. Munoz). Everyone was kind and gentle. No one was rude and everything was timely, even though I was an urgent care walk-in. My cat has an eye infection. I saw online that they accepted walk-ins for urgent care but I called them just in case that information was outdated. They informed me of the urgent care price ($96 for the exam) and I drove over. I checked it and only waited 15 minutes before my cat and I were assigned to a room. We waited a bit and our vet tech came in. Alex was very kind, patient, and understanding and did a great job welcoming us and doing intake. We waited a bit longer and Dr. Munoz came in to do more examinations. They ultimately took my cat back for some procedures. Overall, I was there for about 2 hours total. My understanding is their urgent care examinations are about $96 and their regular scheduled examinations are about $64. Vaccines are $30. This is a general clinic that covers primary care, vaccines, dental, x-rays, etc. For my urgent care exam, eye procedures, and medication, it ended up being about $250. The Vet that examined my dog was wonderful. She was kind and explained everything very well. The only dissatisfaction I experienced was the cost of medication. I had to pick up a second order for my dogs meds , I only needed a few tablets to hold me over while I waited for the shipment. I wish they would of communicated that even if you get less meds that doesnt mean the price will lower . I was thrown back on how they wouldn't let the customer know this and how they dont have to . While BB and I were visiting my parents in Cypress, Ollie started having a discharge and licking his private area excessively. We were dismayed because last time we went to urgent care, it cost us almost 1000 dollars. Going to a vet ER or urgent care is kind of like going to a mechanic. If you end up going to one that isn't honest, you can find a whole bunch of additional "problems" or at least "expensive tests" that you did not anticipate. After looking at a bunch of different local vets and animal hospitals, we tried calling LBC vets and they were able to get us a normal appointment for the same day. There was plenty of parking in a private business plaza with a coffee shop nearby. The inside of the office was super clean with nice modern decor. Once we checked in, they took us to one of the exam rooms and even offered to bring us bottled water which I gladly accepted. There was a mix up and the doc was sent to the wrong room at first, so we ended up waiting about 45 mins before seeing the doctor. When the doctor came, she was very informative, friendly, and good at what she does. She examined Ollie and let us know that the discharge was a normal occcurrence for male dogs and we did not have to worry. We were so relieved. The doctor could have easily tried to upsell us or have us do a bunch of unnecessary tests but she was honest and had integrity. The cost of the visit with same day scheduling was very competitive, and I have to mention everyone, from the receptionists, aides, and doctor herself were so warm and friendly. When dealing with your pet being sick ( a bad situation) they made it as easy as possible to deal with. Thank you LBC Vets! All I have to say, is this place is over an hour away from where I live and I do not mind as long as my dog is properly being taken care of. He had an ear infection and it was getting bad over the weekend. I called LBC Vets and was able to make an appointment with Dr. Munoz two days later. Dude, my dog, gets very excited when he sees other dogs so as soon as I got there, they had a room waiting for us. I think this is very considerate of not only my dog, but of the other dogs and people as well. It keeps everything calm and peaceful because my dog is just a crazy maniac when he sees other dogs. Ironically, Dude is the friendliest dog with people, even strangers. But for some reason, he wasn't being cool with Mckenzie, the hit technician helping out or Dr. Munoz. Dude was growling at them and since I've never seen him act like that, I was a surprised. However, they all remained extremely professional and patient with Dude. We worked as a team and Mckenzie were able to give my dog the sedation so calm him down and check the inside of his ears. After a few attempts, McKenzie was able to put my dog to sleep. Because Dude can be difficult, we also decided it was best to give him his annual vaccinations while he was sedated. This turned out to be one of the better experiences that I had while visiting the veterinarian. This facility is very clean and welcoming, not only to our pets, but two people as well. I've never seen a public restroom that clean and they have complementary coffee, soda, and water while you wait. Dude had a primary doctor that has always taken care of him, but I feel like the care sen and love LBC Vets has for their patients is unmatched. When we got there, Shadi came to the car to greet us and she even helped me get Dude out of the car. he did not have his muzzle on, but it did not matter, she got him out of the car and allowed Dude to smother her with doggy kisses. I realized these people love our animals just as much as we do lol and that is what makes this a beautiful place to take your pets. We were regular patients of Primary Care but needed our senior dog seen quickly after a random occurrence of seizures one night. For a very fair price, our pup was seen early the next morning (Saturday). Over the next few weeks we had many questions and concerns about his health that were promptly answered (via text) by Dr Kessler and team. She helped us navigate his multiple symptoms until the end when we had to make the hard decision to let him go. During the end of life process, Dr Kessler went above and beyond to support us and help us. We will be customers for life- with our other pup and future pups. Very glad to have found Dr. Kessler and her team at LBC Vets. The facilities are clean and everyone is friendly. They also offer light drink refreshments while you wait. I appreciate that they allow walk-ins to make same-day appointments, especially on a Saturday. I was visiting over the weekend and needed to help my mom with her new cat that was a stray who showed up at her back door. My time is limited and having a vet open on the weekends is a huge plus! They also scanned the cat for a microchip (none was found). Although it was a long wait for the consult + core feline vaccines (which everyone apologized for), we had an overall positive experience. If you do a walk-in on the weekend, just be prepared there may be a wait and keep in mind that very few vets are open on the weekends to care for your pet! Prices seemed fair ($90 for vet consult + $30 for each of the two recommended vaccines: FVRCP and Rabies). Dr. Kessler was also reasonable with her recommendations given that the cat was a stray turned house cat. They also send follow-up notes via text and check-up to see how your pet is doing post-visit. Talk about great customer service! We will definitely use LBC Vets as our primary vet moving forward! read more

Unfortunately this office struggles with staffing and that led to our 3hr Sunday afternoon at LBC Vets. Our 11yo cat needed prescription flea treatment and ear drops. We were seen after about 30min. We left 2.5 HOURS later... the visit was almost 3 HOURS! My understanding is they also handle emergencies and there was atleast one there already. There was only 1 vet on staff. They also separated us from our cat to simply take an ear sample and do a subsequent microscopy. We were then separated from our cat for about 2 hrs of this ordeal. This is inexcusable. I blame everyone on staff. The person at the front, the techs, and the vet. If there's an emergency, you have to explain that to patients and then bring the cat back so we can at least be with her for the 2hr wait. Instead, she was just waiting in an exam room alone for 2hrs like wtf. It takes 5min to get an ear sample and bring the cat back. Frankly I don't like how they insisted on separating us from the cat. Costs: They ordered ear drops which cost $105 despite being $30 on Chewy. They prescribed Revolution flea treatment to help with the dermatitis she has from persistent fleas that weren't responding to Frontline treatment. Unsurprisingly, they didn't apply the first dose for Revolution OR ear drops. The front desk person gave us a price and asked for our card even though we hadn't received an invoice lol. Just a shit show on so many levels. Atleast the office visit process was under $100. Total cost of visit was $250 and it would've been more but we had it with spending our one day off at LBC Vets. Response to Andrew (6/3/25): I spoke with my wife who agreed it was more like 3 hrs as she got there around 330 and left after 630. So I fixed my times on the review and changed it to 2 stars. I understand meds are more expensive at the vet, however, for $75 you can mention that to your customers. Especially would've been nice to throw us a bone after the excessive wait time. I disagree completely with you about being separated from our cat for 2hrs. Saying she was "in the back with us" doesn't justify 2hrs of separation for an ear sample. That was the main issue. Your words are nice, saying "we certainly try our best to value your time." But your actions prove otherwise. I just wish your staff let us wait with our cat while you were handling the emergencies.
