Did a day trip in Capri and this restaurant was recommended by our tour guide! "Mamma Mia" it was amazing! Their fresh bread and oil to munch on while we waited for your meal was delicious! Service was out of this world and our meals were like nothing we have ever tasted before. I got the ravioli and it was the absolute best ravioli Ive ever had! Capri is full of lovely hyper-local, mom-and-pop restaurants and this one was probably one of my favorites. And it's worth mentioning the price was RIGHT. Half a liter of house wine was less than $7. And the pizzas are quite large! I enjoyed how easy-going the atmosphere was, mostly achieved by the warmth and genuineness of the service. They greeted us, allowed us to take a seat anywhere, told some jokes, and poured some wine. It was like being at a friend's house. When my family and I were touring Anacrapri, our tour guide, brought us to this restaurant and recommended it highly. The dining room is very spacious and we were served water and bread without us even asking. I had the quarto fromagi (4 cheese) white pizza which was very tasty. My mom had the classic Margherita which was also great. Both pizzas were made fresh and to order across the restaurant. My brother had ravioli which was also great. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the lady running our hotel. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had lots of seating. The house wine was 10 euro a bottle, a pretty good deal out on the island. I love the fritta Italia appetizer. The food was tasty, it wasn't the best food I had in Italy though. We ate here twice, the servant was decent, especially considering how things can sometimes go in big touristy areas. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Anacapri. read more

Our hiking group of 13 ate here after a long day of exploring the island of Capri. We shared some appetizers - salmon and sardines ceviche style, Caprese salad, and fried calamari - all of which were delicious. I had a seafood pasta dish as an entree which was outstanding. Meh. This place received overwhelmingly positive reviews on trip advisor and most of the reviewers bragged about how they were otherwise only eating at 5 star restaurants but still loved this place. Nothing was bad per se but nothing was delicious. We had steak, clam pasta and a shrimp and Parmesan app. House wine is decent (place down the street that we went to during rain storm has same house wine-not sure if that's the norm). They charge cover but they did also pick us up and offer to drive us home. Would not go back. read more

Was here with a tour group while visiting Capri from Sorrento. Unfortunately there weren't a lot of gluten free options here, so my partner and I had to make do. He got the Caprese salad and I got the grilled octopus on mashed potatoes - the waiter did go to the back and check to make sure it was gluten free, so that's a plus. Two others that we sat with both ordered pizza. They both said that it was okay, nothing to write home about, and one of them only ate about a third of it before telling the waiter she was done. Some restaurants will also make gluten free bread if you have an allergy, but they didn't do that for us, so it was a bit awkward watching out companions eat the bread served before the meal - not a huge deal, but worth a mention if you're eating gluten free. Overall the food was just okay, I did think that the grilled octopus went well with the mashed potatoes which was a combination I hadn't tried before, so that was a plus. Otherwise I think there's better places to eat on Capri. Oh: and when you go, hope that it isn't crowded. It took us forever to get someone's attention so we could pay and leave. read more
