I went in yesterday afternoon and there was one kid working there without a mask on. I figured he would go behind the desk to put one on since there were customers in the store now, but he just went behind the counter, didn't put one on, and then came out on the sales floor without one and kept getting closer to me. Then when I went to check out, I had to ask him to put one on and he said "Oh, do you want me to?" It was uncomfortable and, since it is required by law, I don't think they should be making customers uncomfortable or putting them in awkward situations because the employees refuse to wear masks. It's too bad because I like this store and, even though it is a bit overpriced, it is convenient and I always find good stuff there. Guess I'll be back after the pandemic is over.

There was a horror movie costume section where I found a both Chucky and Tiffany costumes which I bought. There were some props from the movies which I had caught my eye as well. I bought one of the iconic prop knife and the heart of the Damballa necklace. I had to head to check out before I spent too much in one go! I came back to this location a couple weeks later. I ended up buying the life sized Chucky doll. It was $90 which wasn't as I would have imagined. $90 isn't a lot considering I spent a lot more on the Trick or Treat studios doll. I went back again and got the Chucky greeter which is a candy bowl. Wasn't expecting to spend the amount I did but here we were a year later with a growing collection.

Since it's only a mile from my house, I decided I would give it a try and walk out if anything didn't seem right. Thankfully, I'm pleased to say that I didn't end up having the same experience as many others have reported having in their reviews. My daughter and I came in about a half hour before closing and were greeted right away by Natty who was the only employee there. We needed to do a simple phone upgrade. She was helpful and knowledgeable and addressed our needs ensuring we ended up paying as little out of pocket as possible. I returned the very next day to turn in my daughter's old phone after setting up her new one, and again had a great experience. This time the store was busier and there were several employees working. Natty was busy with another customer so Daniel and another associate helped me with my trade in. Both were helpful and polite and made the process easy. I got top dollar for my trade in as promised, and was on my way in no time. Overall, I'm glad that I took a chance coming here and hope that this location has made a permanent turn around so I can return again without having any of the issues described by others.
