Europe 2023 - Paris For my birthday dinner and our first day I Paris we visited the Eiffel Tower and had dinner at 20 Eiffel. They don't open until 7PM and you should get a reservation, but we luckily were able to get a seat out on the street with a great view of the Eiffel Tower just as sunset was happening and the lights were turned on on the tower. FAST Food: very good. We chose their dinner special, appetizer, entree and desert, which has some limited choices but all were good. I had the cold mashed peas with smoked salmon and this was really good, the salmon adds a great flavor, and soaked up the remainder with some of the bread. My wife had the mushroom with egg, and she didn't let me have a bite but said it was good. We both had the beef dish, which came with a nice sauce and potatoes. We topped this off with the Grand Marnier & Pina Colada Soufflés & a bottle of wine. Atmosphere: it's as you would expect, sitting on the street with traffic and arms length away passing you by. Several other groups sitting close to us all enjoying the view. Actually pretty spectacular. Service: exceptional! We don't speak any French and everyone was very helpful. Tips: make a reservation and see if you can turn your table so that both you and your significant other can glance at the Eiffel Tower while enjoying a great meal.

Food was delicious, you won't be disappointed! Our party of 6 was able to get a table without a reservation, staff was very accommodating. The restaurant is tucked away in one of the streets by the Eiffel Tower, so if you're sitting outside you can see the top of the tower. Overall very happy and would be back again. We did the dinner special that served all 3 courses for a great price.

This is a truly wonderful restaurant. The food, service and ambiance was extraordinary. This is a Michelin bib establishment. This means they serve high end food served at a more affordable price point. We dined outside and the highlight of the evening was the Eiffel Tower sparkling . Every item we ordered was wonderful. The waiter was pleasant and helped us with the menu. We spent over two hours here and closed the place. Got in two Eiffel Tower sparkling sessions. We were so happy with our meals that it made our Anniversary trip even more special. Many choices on the menu. One of the best dining experiences in Paris.

‼Michelin restaurant with Eiffel Tower view at an affordable price‼ 20 Eiffel is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant with delicious food and a great view of the Eiffel Tower outside My favourite items were the egg yolk ravioli, pork cheeks (super tender), and the chocolate dessert (layers of chocolate cake, mousse, crunchy cookie crumbs, and flakes). Highly recommend reservations as we saw many people turned away as they were fully booked! Starters: Egg Yolk Ravioli with Mushroom Emulsion Fried Snails with Chorizo Mains: Cod Fillet in a Turmeric Crust, Lemongrass Sauce Red Wine Stewed Pork Cheeks Desserts: Chocolate Dessert Coconut Soufflé Starter + Main + Dessert = 37€

We ordered the fried escargot and deer stew as a set lunch. Then we ordered the grilled vegetables, langostines, foie gras as appetizer (entrees) and duck two ways. The drinks were excellent - jus de fraise, limonade, champagne (dry), and bordeaux. Everything was amazing and uniquely flavorful!

Stumbled upon this lovely restaurant on the way to just get a closer glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. The restaurant as you can see from the pic is on one of the quaint neighborhood streets with a gorgeous view of this iconic tower. We sat right outside in one of their outdoor tables, enjoyed wine, and truly delicious French fare. A memorable meal it was!

Trying escargot for the first time.

Not a bad spot to grab lunch. Prices are a bit high, but the food quality is awesome. Food portions are about half that of an American restaurant, so don't come hungry. Staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. Dessert is amazing. I had the souffle and a friend had the creme brulee. Both turned out beautifully.

    Scallops - the daily special

The food was amazing - great menu and impressive wine list. I loved the decor- bright, modern and artisitc. The atmosphere was sophisticated and quaint. The waitstaff was superb. Overall it was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris. No issue accommodating my Dairy allergy. I will definitely come back.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

There are two tables essentially in the kitchen (a true "Chef's Table" arrangement) and maybe 6 tables in the adjoining room. We were welcomed warmly. Deborah was the hostess and server. Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.
