I've been taking adult Aerial Silks classes at Studio E for about half a year now. As a…read more30-something-year-old lady with the fitness level of a pedestrian, I was initially hesitant about the classes. But the instructors are supportive and taught me how to modify the moves, so I could still train on the silks even if I wasn't strong or flexible yet. They also provided suggestions on what I can do at home to help improve my flexibility and strength. The classes are usually small, the vibe is friendly (not competitive), and even though my progression was slow, I never felt like I was being judged by the instructors or my classmates. Aerial silks is intimidating and frustrating to learn, but I think Studio E does a great job of making it more fun and less stressful. If there is nothing to clean the machines the chances of getting a staph infection increase significantly. Please have either towels for the spay bottles or restock the sanitation wipes before leaving.

The owner, Matt, was quick to respond when I gave the gym a call and provided amazing customer service! He even swung by the gym and introduced himself. Gym is fully equipped with several cardio machines (stairmaster, bikes, treadmills), free weights, benches, turf area, cable machines, resistance machines, two squat racks and much more. In addition, for an extra cost, you can have access to their Recovery Room which has infrared saunas, compression boots for lowerbody (I believe hips too), and massage guns. There are also small lockers that are available for use during your workout. The gym is very clean and all of the equipment is well-maintained. This is my first time at a privately owned gym and I can see why people lean towards em. If you're local, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out and getting a membership. I will definitely be coming back here anytime I'm up here visiting! Thanks again, Matt!! It seemed a bit confusing, but everyone else that were regulars looked confident in their choices so I'm sure once you start attending more, you will know where you want to start. The class I went to was a combination of rowing, tread, core and weight lifting. I liked the idea of 'switching stations' after a certain amount of time. Since I was new, the instructor reviewed everything with me at the beginning of class. There is some simple math to do when you get up to the tread, but I was able to figure it out rather quickly. Classes are an hour long and then there is a stretching portion afterwards. I got a great workout in. It's not really my type of workout, but I'm glad I tried it!
