We love this cute French place! We went on a busy Saturday morning which was a little hard to find a place to sit to eat, but it was sooo worth it. We were obsessed with our meal! I had a salmon omelet and my hubby had the salmon sandwich. We loved it! The service was great, everyone was friendly and food was amazing. Nothing more to want! read more

Made our way into Old Town Temecula and wanted breakfast. We happened to be dropped off right in front of this little French coffee shop. The menu offered us a good choice of small and semi big dishes. We opted for the classic omelette breakfast, terrific!!!!! We sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze and pleasant atmosphere. If you're ever in town, give 'em a try. You won't regret it. read more

Cannot say enough good things! The potatoes!!! IF YOU GO HERE, please try the potatoes! They were super sweet, were really patient w us because it was our first time! The latte was gorgeous, overall the food was sooo good! Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! read more

My wife and I had a quick little date here and loved it. The food was good, cooked with precision and felt pretty classically French. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was well done, it is difficult to find places that can do both food and crafted lattes but this spot does it well. I am a barista and coffee shop owner by trade so when I say this was a good representation of a third wave coffee shop and a all around good cup, I don't say it loosely. I am thankful they are close, I will definitely be returning! read more

Le Coffee Shop is a little gem in the heart of Old Town Temecula that offers impressively splendid food! Perfect little spot to enjoy breakfast or brunch. For my meal I ordered a turkey egg cheese croissant sandwich. It was stuffed generously. The cheesy potato lasagna was delicious! Best part is their homemade out of this world croissants. Beautifully flakey on the outside and fluffy in the inside. They have 3 flavors which are almond, chocolate, and your standard butter croissant. All are fantastic but my favorite was the almond one. It had a little bit of a sweet creaminess inside which I really enjoyed. It's a little on the pricey side but well worth it! Absolutely magnifique! Definitely will be returning! read more

Amazing croissants. Probably the best I've had in years. I've been meaning to come here, but hate down town Temecula because of the traffic. Finally, my coworker forced me to come here because she wanted to treat me. I don't regret it. When I came with her I was too shy to order too much so I only tried the croissant. So I came back today on my own and had the chance to try the Canelé I've been eyeing in the photos posted. It's perfection and I don't have to bother trying to make it at home because I finally found a spot for them. So excited!! Also, the hostess/waitresses who serviced was such a sunny person. I love seeing people who enjoy their jobs. read more

What a great spot! Had one of the best croissants (outside of Paris) ever here. In addition, had a mushroom quiche which was very crave-able. Lastly, their potatoes (which are au gratin) were amazing! Some additional bonus points: - The staff seems to actually be French (at least 2 of them had an accent). - The staff recommends and knows exactly what goes well together on their menu. - Food is served quickly after ordering. - The price is right! ($30 for 2 people who were completely full with leftovers). Will be going back. read more

Have you ever had the feeling that you're just so full but the food is just so good...? Well that's exact feeling you will have a coffee shop in old town Temecula. I came here on my birthday this past weekend for Sunday Breakfast. The wait was very long. The seating arrangement is not ideal and was very congested. They are located next to a gym which causes a lot of traffic. I waited about 45 mins for a spot to even open up. I attempted to save my sister and I a spot but a very rude employee came to the table and asked if I had a number which I did not. You must order your items before you find a seat apparently. She said that I was not welcome to sit down without a number but I saw several tables being saved by people who did not have a number and were waiting for the other part of their party. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Once we got to the register to order our food the cashier seemed very overwhelmed and asked us to repeat our order several times. The noise level was not very loud and we were speaking clearly enough to where we were not sure why we were asked on three separate occasions to clarify. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an omelette along with two coffees. Once we found a table, it took about 15 mins for our food to arrive. The breakfast sandwich tasted okay. I could tolerate it being lukewarm but it was very messy. The eggs, bacon, and cheese looked scrambled and tossed on to the croissant. I'd give the presentation a 0. Our coffees were not as good as we had anticipated. I had to ask for my iced latte to be remade because there was not even a hint of coffee. The barista must have over poured the milk. I was really disappointed in my visit here. The staff was not friendly either. Total bummer. Overall, I think any of the other breakfast places in Old Town would have been a better choice that day. read more

Went there for breakfast on last Sunday. Although there was a continuous line, no one seemed to mind. Breakfast was excellent: so much so, in fact twice during the week I walked a mile to get there: as I told the more than gracious young Lady:"I'd walk a mile for a croissant" at Le Cafe. read more

This was our first time here. We live in Chino Hills CA and were here for a company party. Honestly this is the best food and service experience, I worked in customer service and the food industry previously so I can appreciate it when a place excels in those. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, I don't know where some of those negative reviews came from but we had a great experience and will be coming back. read more

Just came back from Paris and this cafe/restaurant provided all the dishes I didn't get to try when in Paris. Everything was authentic and absolutely delicious. We came here late morning Sunday and it was packed. They also do not allow you to reserve a table until you placed your order at the counter so we were afraid that we wouldn't get a seat. Luckily, there were open tables for us after we ordered. The line was long at first but moved quickly. The employees were so cheerful and friendly. The cashier had a smile and greeted us warmly when we ordered. They had an extensive variety of French breakfast dishes. We ordered the Croque Madame, Seguin quiche (ham & cheese), Crepe Au Sucre and Cappuccino. Everything was DELICIOUS! We can't wait to go back and try the rest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

This morning a friend and I came here for brunch. I've only ever been to Le Coffee shop one other time with a friend, so not too familiar with how the place is run, but I remember that it was clean and orderly. My friend and I ordered coffee and breakfast. The cappuccino I ordered was very small, so when a waitress walked by we asked her for a refill coffee. She replied in a very condescending tone, "I wish I could bring the register to you but it's very hard to detach it from the wall and bring it to you so unfortunately you'll have to go back up to the register to reorder." She walked away abruptly after that. My friend & I's mouths dropped. I don't know why we deserved to be treated or spoken to like that being that we were paying customers. The place isn't that great to endure being treated so rudely by someone so entitled. I don't know that I'll be back. My friend and I left and went to Rival where we were treated nicely and appreciated. read more

Wow. Nailed it. Not just good, excellent. My breakfast sandwich was great and I loved that they offered the make your own style. The croissants were perfectly tender and ultra flakey. The croque monsieur was excellent and very close to the authentic in France. The potatoes au gratin....I broke my cheese fast for this and it was worth it. Coffee was fine. Lemon tart had good flavor although the merengue topper kind of ruined the ability to cut it nicely and was too much to enjoy with the tart itself. Definitely recommend this spot. read more

I ordered the Belgium waffle for almost $13 and I go t one singular waffle on one small plate. I ordered the açai bowl for the same price. It came with one small ice cream scoop of açaí. So one waffle and one very tiny açai bowl plus an iced coffee and a hazelnut latte was $50 before tip. It's a complete rip off. Stop making places like this trendy and in business. $5 worth of food and coffee slums Ont be $50. This should have been $20 max! The waffle wasn't even large. The. The owner or whoever commented doesn't know what they are talking about. My total was $48 before tip, for a small waffle an ice cream scoop of açaí a small ice coffee and a latte. I'm not making anything up and after their resolve you would really think twice about going here. Extreme unprofessional. Is so many ways. Not only is this place over priced this is what you should expect from their customer service. $37.20 would have been overpriced. I also left out the line was long took forever to get to the front and order. Then you get to the front and the guy behind the register doesn't look at you or acknowledge you, he turns around pixel fork up off the ground goes into the back comes out talk to another employee laughs talk to another employee laughs does something else then looks at you and ask how they could help you. There was no I'll be right with you like that. The owner acts like I'm the first person to leave a bad review. read more

Established in 2018.

Bonjour! Moving to the United States in 2018, we fell in love with the charming city of Old Town Temecula. My wife Charlotte is a French chef who studied and graduated from two famous culinary schools, the Paul Bocuse institute and Lenôtre school. As food lovers with the desire to bring a taste of France we decided to look for a small family business to open and/or buy. When we found the coffee shop we did not hesitate, and jumped right into the adventure. Our greatest pleasures are cooking, baking and providing great customer service. Making regular guests and friends at the Café and the Farmer's Market along the way is the perfect reward for us. Bon Appétit ! Charlotte et Yoann :-)

I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Many servers are well versed about Latin flavors, and it makes the experience feel more authentic, welcoming, and internationally minded, which is very important to me. The winery itself is beautiful - elegant, clean, and always impressive. The views are some of the best in Temecula (I think they even won an award for it). I'm proud to bring friends and family here when they visit from outside the country because it consistently leaves a great impression. I personally don't drink wine, but when I go with people who do they say it's very good. I also appreciate that they offer excellent non-alcoholic options. Their cappuccino is fantastic, and it's nice that people who don't drink (whether permanently, temporarily, or for health reasons) can still fully enjoy the experience. The food quality has always been excellent. I like high-protein meals, and the steak frites with chimichurri sauce is one of my favorites. Everything tastes fresh, high quality, and consistently well prepared. Overall, this is a classy, welcoming place with outstanding service, great food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
