Cancelled my reservation that was booked months in advance. Sorry but that was unacceptable when trying to plan a holiday.

We went around 10 AM, so I think there were only a few other tables there but we were in a different area since we did the afternoon tea. The tea sets and plates are so cute, I'll definitely be back!

The decor and overall ambiance are definitely picture-perfect and create a great setting for celebrations, girls' outings, or anyone looking for a cute, photo-worthy experience. Unfortunately, the menu selections were a bit too limited for our preferences. We decided to try a few different items, but the food didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the photos. While everything looked appealing, the flavors were underwhelming. The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks--they were well-crafted, enjoyable, and probably the main reason I would recommend stopping by. Service was attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful tea party atmosphere, great photo opportunities, and tasty drinks, this spot may be worth checking out. However, if you're visiting primarily for the food, it may not meet the expectations created by its social media presence. For me, it was a one-time experience, and I likely wouldn't return.

As you can see from posted pics here on Yelp the restaurant is classy with a brasserie ambiance and vibe. We elected to be seated in one of the very comfortable booths across from the attractive bar with its red, upholstered swivel stools. My wife opted for a glass of Pinot Grigio and I a Sazerac. The Sazarac was OK, but overpowered in this pour by the bitters (and I'm one who loves both Angostura and Peychaud bitters. I drink them both straight whenever I have a slightly queasy stomach and enjoy them straight). For starters we shared a bowl of French onion soup which on this chilly early winter morning was a comforting and savory start to our brunch meal. My wife went with the eggs Benedict and I decided to try the Oeufs en Cocotte, a dish I encountered here for the first time ever. The eggs Benedict, my wife reports, was excellent. Perfectly poached eggs, large slices of a tender and flavorful ham over a croissant-like puff pastry that had been split and grilled to perfection in butter on the flat top, topped with a nicely done Hollandaise sauce. Happily for me, she left a half of the butter grilled pastry. It was divine. Likewise the Oeufs en Cocotte, eggs poached in a shallot cream sauce, was heavenly. Cannot wait to enjoy this again! Perfectly cooked eggs in a flavorful, steaming hot, shallot and cream sauce. So good. Our server was perfectly attentive and very helpful, answering clearly our questions about the preparations of the dishes. So looking forward to our next visit.

Also, the friend we took one of thost times wants to return already because the beef bourguinon was still cooking when we were there. We have really nice experiences in Parker Square in general, but this was definitely a highlight. Friendly, welcoming servers and a neat atmosphere. Menus seem to change frequently, which is a good thing. My dad had the eggs in cream... when he gets quiet and doesn't say anything about his food, it means it's really good and he doesn't want to share it... when I stuck my knife in it and tasted it, that was confirmed, it was deliciously creamy and garlicy. I had the souffle the first time and the French Dip the second time. My mom had a smoked salmon salad and really enjoyed that. Go for brunch, go for lunch, go for dinner. Yummy!

First, you walk in and you're introduced to a small, charming, and warm space that looks straight out of a children's fairytale. Don't forget to grab a little surprise card (child friendly and adult friendly) either before you sit down or on your way out. Cute conversation starters and reflection inspiration! My objective of the night was dessert, so I didn't even bother to look at the savory souffles. While waiting for our server, my eyes were captivated by the twinkling lights around me (in the indoor space) and the sight and sounds of the chefs whisking away the souffles before they went in the oven. I was expecting Ratatouille's Remy to pop out. Anyway, as we gazed through the dessert menu, we thought we were enlightened already, but it only got better -- the specials: Strawberry and Pistachio. I'm regretting only getting the Pistachio because it was just so dang good. Will definitely be back. Austin is missing out. To the owner - Wonderful job bringing a taste of your French childhood to Dallas.

I started with the marshmallow soup, which is really a puffy goat cheese ball on top of carrot tomato soup, can't recommend this enough. My main entrée was the southwest chicken soufflé, and it was the only part of my meal. I was so so about. I would not order it again. But I did eat most of it. The chocolate soufflé was fantastic, I loved every bit of it and pouring the chocolate on top was so satisfying. Verdict: I would go again!

The restaurant has a lovely private room for groups to take advantage of. Each of our group was greeted warmly as we arrive. We were all escorted to the private room by the hostess. The room was setup perfectly for our meeting. Our server for the evening was Lisa. Throughout the evening, she took care of us with incredible expertise. She was a very experienced server having taken care of groups of 20 or more multiple times. She took everyone's drink orders and then proceeded to take all of our entree orders. My wife decided on the Chicken Fettuccine Pasta, and I opted for the Chicken Montpellier served on a bed of fried spinach accompanied with rice and candied carrots. Oh yummy. I also ordered a Caesar salad to enjoy before my entree arrived. Shortly baskets of hot French bread was delivered to our group. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Crusty and OH so good. I'd have to watch myself, so I didn't stuff myself with bread. My Caesar salad was crisp and served in a chilled bowl, a very nice touch. Soon, a legion of servers came through the banquet room doors with all our entrees. I was very impressed the kitchen was able to have all entrees prepared and served hot at the same time. Wow. My Chicken Montpellier was incredible. It was decedent. The lemon sauce was perfect and the chicken breast pounded then was tender to the cut. Who would have thought about frying spinach. It was awesome along with the other two sides. I finished my delicious meal off with Turtle Cheesecake. Thank yuou Lisa for the wonderful service and thank you Cafe de France for the stellar entrees. Wonderful!
