Great location off Lovers Lane. This is more of an elevated experience. The check for a tea main soufflé and desert soufflé is about $48. The service was fast and friendly and the temperature of the food was great. This place is an easy 10/10. I would highly recommend this location

Rise has been one of my favorite restaurants here in Dallas for over a decade! This location I believe is the original and is, in my opinion, the best! I have dined at Rise for many birthdays, including this years once again. Last week, my mom and I visited for lunch to celebrate my 27th birthday. I called ahead to make a reservation and they were able to accommodate us two and even asked about who was celebrating their birthday. I gave them my name and requested to be sat on the inclosed patio, which was accommodated. When we walked in, the hostesses knew of our reservation and we were led to our table. The table had a sweet birthday sign with my name on it, such a kind and personal touch!! If you are celebrating a birthday here, it is definitely worth calling ahead and letting them know. For our meal, we both enjoyed the complimentary bread and butter. I especially loved the presentation and the fun bread cutter. For our entrees, I ordered the Large Rise Salad and my mom ordered the Jambon & Gruyère soufflé. I added chicken to the Rise Salad, which was a perfect addition to the baby greens, roasted pecans, and granny smith apples. Our waiter told us the Jambon & Gruyère soufflé was the most popular savory soufflé and I definitely can understand why. The ham and cheese was not too much or too little, and the texture of the soufflé was perfect as always. Lastly, for dessert, we shared the Banana Foster Soufflé. I believe this is a seasonal dessert soufflé for September and/or fall. It was excellent! It was served with powdered sugar on top and a birthday candle to celebrate! Such a nice touch! In conclusion, Rise has always stood out in the Dallas restaurant landscape and always delivers every time. The soufflés are thoughtfully made and the texture is always the same - fluffy, light and never lacking flavor. I have never tried a soufflé I didn't love! A couple things to note if you're looking to visit: Make sure you call to make a reservation ahead of time and definitely mention any special birthday or occasion because they will make it worth your while. The soufflés take a while to bake, so it is also worth putting in your dessert order when you order your entrees so you're not waiting too long after. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Rise this time and I loved getting to celebrate my birthday here again. Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience!

Come to this relaxed bistro with heavily French influences for their spectacular souffle! I got the prix fixe (3 course meal) with marshmallow soup, jambon and gruyere souffle, and raspberry souffle (shown). Be careful the souffle is hot! They were all delicious and amazing in their own right and the staff was so friendly. The dim lighting and painted rocks give a village vibe. I plan to try their other options next, they did a great job.

Wow, when a place makes you excited to go there during the reservation process, wow! Once inside, that level of service continued! Multiple levels of staff give it a true European service oriented 5 star restaurant feel. Then there is the decor, tables, chairs, plates, and other items that continue that old European ambiance. Lastly but foremost is the food. The best soufflés I've ever had and I've had a lot over the years living next to the Benelux region in the German Eifel. Absolutely creative, tasty, fun to enjoy, and filling! This was for a birthday and suggest this is perfect for memorable dinners!

Ambiance is so nice. Hostess and servers were attentive. Lots of choices for soufflés, from breakfast to dessert. It was overwhelming but in a good way! We drove from Austin to try em out. Happy to have tried em. Cute authentic style inside. Their patio was cute too.

Rise Soufflé is such a fun and charming place! Every bit of décor feels thoughtfully chosen, creating an atmosphere that's both elegant and whimsical. The service was excellent from start to finish--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The truffle and mushroom soufflé was the star of the night. It was incredibly light and airy, almost impossibly delicate. And with such a low calorie count, it's hard to believe something that tastes that delicious can also feel healthy. The French bread was another standout--perfectly crispy on the edges while staying wonderfully moist on the inside. The whipped butter was unbelievably good, light, and flavorful. I also loved that it was served on a charming bread-cutter platter, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Overall, Rise Soufflé delivers a delightful dining experience from ambiance to service to every last bite. Highly recommend! The savory soufflés will be for my next visit I was too full!

Great great lunch at Rise!!! Frito chili pie soufflé ... what more can I say. I was extremely impressed and left very full with my dining experience. We had a15 minute wait but it was definitely worth the wait! Our server Akil so personable and professional/ you can tell he really takes pride in his job and his level of customer service is top notch . The Grand Marnier soufflé was in a word : Perfection!!! Apparently we sat at a famous table in the restaurant!!

Look how cute the plates are!

What a unique French restaurant in Dallas! This was my first time having savory souffles and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I visited with a pretty big party of 7 people a while back, and we opted to order a bunch of different souffles to share (savory & sweet). This turned out to be a great choice because it was so fun getting to sample a wide variety of flavors! Not only did we order a few from the menu, but we also got their seasonal souffles which aren't on the menu. My favorites would have to be the crabmeat souffle, truffle mushroom souffle (you would love this if you're a fan of truffle), and pistachio souffle. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service was great as well! We started as just a party of 4 before a few more people joined later on, and the staff were very kind in letting us move to a larger table to accommodate everyone. Additionally, the restaurant itself is super cute with the most beautiful colorful plates. Definitely a great spot to visit for a date night or a meal with friends!

If you want to feel like you're in Paris, then this is the place. From the moment you enter the breezeway of the restaurant to entering the doors you have been teleported to the countryside of France. The decor is amazing the is a warm and charm there. The way the room was sectioned off it felt as though you had some privacy and you can definitely hold a conversation. But friend spoke French and so did our waiter, which made the experience so much fun. I felt so relaxed there. My friend had the Salmon Slouffle and I had the cream spinach and it was wonderful. But the best was yet to come with the Apple Tart. The crust was so buttery and tasteful. DELICIOUS! I've already told a couple of friends about and we all want to come to Rise!

Rise No1 came up on a Google search of restaurants near me. I was very intrigued by the savory soufflés, so I made it a point to try the restaurant during my recent trip to Dallas. I dropped by around 11:15am on a Wednesday. The place already had a few parties seated, but they were able to accommodate my walk-in and placed me at their counter. What a fun little restaurant! Best way I could describe the place was that it had rustic charm but also felt like being in a whimsical fairtyale. If I remember correctly, I read that the owner likes to collect antiques, which attributes to its quirk and character. You just have to see the restaurant for yourself. Service had hits and misses. Appreciated how quickly the food came out. As soon as I placed my order, I immediately got my appetizer and bread service. My soufflé came out shortly after. My server was friendly, but she was hardly attentive or observant. That being said, other wait staff members didn't offer to clear my plate when I was clearly finished. It took a while until my server finally came by to grab my check. The food was excellent though. I ordered the Marshmallow soup as my starter. I mean, how could I not? It sounded really interesting. To my surprise, the dish was a tomato based soup with puffy "marshmallows." My brain wanted to compute that the marshmallows were sweet, but they ended up being light, airy, and eggy - basically marshmallow shaped balls of soufflés. I ordered the truffle mushroom soufflé, which was lovely. I thought it was very flavorful and probably the best soufflé I've ever had. I look forward to trying more savory soufflés from Rise, and I need to save room for dessert soufflés for next time.

Tho is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. The service is excellent, our server always has extensive knowledge of the menu and even offers off-menu items. The complimentary bread is delicious. The seasonal items are always worth the try. I that a texmex-inspired dish and it did not disappoint. The dessert sufle is a must! Overall I love the casual low-light ambiance. Parking: lot partying is available in front of the building.

    Bananas foster soufflé

First I want to say as someone with nut allergies, this restaurant takes great care in ensuring I had a safe experience! They even mark their menu items that have nuts. GREATLY appreciate this! Was absolutely delighted after firth visiting. The interior is playful yet elegant, always something catching your eye. The marshmallow soup was delicious! So glad we took the recommendation. I enjoyed the Jambon and Gruyère soufflé which was savory and light. Dessert was by far the best, the banana foster soufflé was HEAVENLY! Our waitress was so polite and warm, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Can't wait to come again.

I asked for extra bread so I could taste more of the sauce after the vegetables were gone, ha! And by coincidence, the 3 vegetables tapas were what the waiter recommended. Food I tried Roasted cauliflower with green goddess - best sauce imo I couldn't get enough of how flavorful and buttery(?) it was. Really liked the texture contrast too, I'll get this again Asparagus with pistachio pesto - the in house made pesto fell off the asparagus easily and there was a bed of it underneath. I ended up putting them on the bread too, haha Chicken thigh with aji verde - this is a must get no matter what, incredibly fresh chicken I would have every day if I could. But alas, I don't live near here. Broccolini with lemon garlic - the orange sauce was also delicious but not as amazing as the others. I would still get this again though! Olive oil cake with sea salt - they flip the olive oil cake several times so the apricot syrup permeates. This time it was a little dry in some areas and too moist in some, so it was different than last time. But this is what you want to take your dining experience home with you Potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce - nice and crispy and the mayo has sherry vinaigrette during the emulsion process which was a nice kick

Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!
