If I can give 0 stars I would- let purchasing nothing I called this morning- to see if they had the color I wanted and drove almost an hour to San clemente I was so excited to finally purchase my first Dutch oven in a color I've been waiting for , along with matching accessories, from the Le Creuset Outlet in San Clemente. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. There were three sales associates working while we were there, and not one acknowledged us or even greeted us. We had questions and were clearly interested in making a purchase, yet no one offered assistance or even basic customer service. It was surprising, especially seeing that they're hiring, because customer acknowledgment should be the bare minimum. What made it even more upsetting was that we felt completely ignored as customers of Asian descent while others seemed to receive attention. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome. I had been really looking forward to purchasing my first Le Creuset piece and making it a special experience, but instead I left feeling disappointed and overlooked. read more

I went in to Le Creuset to look at nonstick skillets. Sherry helped me make a decision on the skillet. I wandered around, thinking it wouldn't hurt to keep shopping, then I saw the 2-handled 3.5 quart Everyday Pan in Sea Salt blue. OMGOSH-the color is so beautiful! Sherry told me that this particular piece is her fav pan and thought I might like it better than a nonstick skillet (how ordinary). I was in love with the color and imagined I really would love it, so I changed my mind and bought this Everyday Pan instead. Since I bought it 5 days ago, this pan has hardly been put away! I made Marsala Chicken, omelettes, and grilled cheese sandwiches twice. The Marsala sauce reduced in about 1/2 the time it took my nonstick skillet the last time I made it. I spent MSRP on it (I think), but this piece is so beautiful and functional, I willingly paid for it because I got to leave with it the same day. I love this Le Creuset Outlet! They have great stock at great prices :) I came today and they had the cutest Valentine's Day section. They also had clearance outside that was extra percentage off. I went in just looking, not planning on purchasing anything but they had such great prices that I couldn't pass up my dream olive Le Creuset! Originally over $400 and I got it for $210. Desiree helped me out and she was amaaaazing. She was sooo sweet and helpful. I could have sworn I wrote a review for this particular Le Creuset store months ago! This is one of my favorite locations to get my Le Creuset items because of the selection and staff they have. A big shoutout to Desiree who has gone above and beyond to assist me when I visited on a whim. I have all my kitchen accessory items well coordinated in the most unexpected color combinations thanks to her. I would have never thought to put together red and turquoise together but it worked perfectly against the backdrop of my ugly apartment gray quartz countertop and white walls. It somehow pairs so well with all of my Caribbean colored dutch ovens. And my knobs are all gold including my treat jars for the dogs and the measuring cups and spoons. Makes me so happy every time I cook! Looking forward to revisiting again perhaps this weekend just to see what's in store. San Clemente, Ca. The young woman working here went way above her call of duty, informing me that my broken saucepan (Multifunction) that I was seeking to replace was guaranteed for life. She offered guidance on how to submit a claim and I now have a new one being shipped. She could have easily just sold me a new one ($300+). BUYER BEWARE: SOME OF STOCK 'SECONDS' please OPEN EACH BOX, examine CLOSELY. This was my very first visit to the Le Creuset Outlet Store. I was looking at all the colorful wares & one of the sales ladies told me about the clearance sale. Here is where I am stupid as a rock: it never occurred to me to ask were these first quality? Maybe stupid as a"Crock" would be a better descriptive. So I purchased a bunch of items all new in sealed boxes. Boxes were in the back and on the floor near check out. I was delighted until I got home and noticed they are all SECONDS. How did I miss that because the ladies sure did not share that? here is how... The sales lady had one out of each of the items - I purchased out for display. I did not hold it up to the light and see the words 'SECOND CHOIX' on the bottom, ( yes stupid of me ) nor again was it pointed out to me. I also did not have the sealed boxes that were all marked 'SECOND CHOIX' (Exception was a book, and the gift with purchase item) I really should have been advised to open each box and examine the items - I told the ladies these were Christmas gifts. Mugs, Utensil Crock and more. Can I ask Store Manager???... why no one ( three sales ladies ) told me they were on clearance but they were all seconds and I should examine each. If they worked at a garage, would they tell you they were putting a "second quality" part on your car, not a first quality part ...and it would have a defect? Just in passing...... The two older sales ladies, like me in age, were in the back of store opening up the boxes - on all the new inventory, these new clearance items ( the seconds ). They were picking out their own selections. Good to go. Now I know why they were opening each box - looking for where the defect was. Kinda of sucks, but again, BUYER BEWARE. I spent around $400, and feel like a fool, or stupid as a rock. When I go into a store I really would appreciate being told / 'Clearance / Second CHOIX" in my selections ( that again were all in sealed boxes ) - so far I have found chunks of clay stuck on the front of items as the most common defect. How do you give that as a Christmas Gift? TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THESE ARE SECONDS, AND ADVISE LOOKING AT EACH IN THE SEALED BOXES. Micro aggression at its finest! My husband and I are looking for the corn dishes since they were sold out online. We walked in and no one greeted us but that's fine. A few minutes later we found the dishes and old white lady came to us and said "hi, straight to the 50% off selection,huh?" At that point it already rubbed me the wrong way. When we finally about to check out, she said she only had large bags and we needed it for a $15 purchase? My husband said do you have anything smaller? She was condensing and said "I just said we only have large bags and can't you put it in your bag?" Im here to shop not here to hear your sass. I came into the store to use my coupons and felt a little overwhelmed with all the different products. Denise superstar saleswoman and expert la cruset owner helped explain the benefits of different pieces how to use them what would be best to cook what dishes in...haha how to open the kettle and had me spend spend spend from oval cast iron oval pot to a stock pot, a round musse, skillets, omelet pan. She was fantastic and didn't try to hard sell the products but led me around the store showing me different pieces of cookware. I am so extremely grateful for her help and the time spent with me. Given more time I could have bought out the store with Denise's help. I am so happy with my purchases and will definitely make this store a stop every time I'm at San Clemente outlets. I've been thinking a lot about getting a Dutch oven from le Creuset lately so BF and I decided to check this place out yesterday. We've passed by it multiple times whenever we are at the San Clemente outlet but never felt the need to go inside. Walked in yesterday and I felt like a kid at a candy store, I wanted everything (lol!) Martin helped us out, he knew so much about le Creuset and took the time to explain the different Dutch ovens from the signature collection to heritage collection. Prices are marked down and sometimes they have a sale, yesterday happened to be an additional 35% off store wide. Not sure how often they have those deals. I ended up going for the signature, 9 quart round Dutch oven. They said they don't often get the signature collections and when they do it's very limited and they don't get every color/set all at once. Definitely a place to go if you're serious about getting Le Creuset cookware! read more

Wow... deal on top of deals! I've been searching and waiting for a good deal on the 5qt Le Creuset Dutch Oven, and I finally got it. Usually this Dutch Oven can go for over $600! But it's so happen to be on sale across all the various shops and malls for $350-$360. At the moment, the outlet had the same item on for $320. It's still expensive but a great deal nonetheless. However.... I've been wanting the blue Dutch oven and so they had an extra 30% of sale on all the blue colored Dutch ovens. I Drove all the way down to San Clemente and bought this beautiful Dutch Oven with a gold knob. It's definitely worth it and I've been cooking many French recipes. read more

Jason and Michael are THEEE best! Both went out of their way to help me find the French press color I really wanted for a bridal shower I was going to that that day. I ended up buying a 16-piece dinner set in addition to the French press, so I had a heavy couple bags. Michael carefully wrapped all of the dishes in the set and carried the bags out to my car for me (I'm 8 months pregnant so I really appreciated the gesture). My family and I have been eyeing some Le Creuset pieces, and decided to pop into this store and see them in person. I have never seen customer service in this manner before. Every single person in the store is so caring, kind, and considerate. We spent a lot of time in the store and they never seemed tired of us. They taught us what each piece was used for, never pushed us to buy anything, and it was clear they all have a genuine passion for what they do. We ended up buying some pieces in a specific color way (Provence!!) that they did not have a lot of. The employees were so kind to even call us to let us know when they had more in stock. This store is well stocked and everything was 30% off when I went. I left leaving with exactly what I had gone in for and the employee who worked with me was very helpful. However, there is a fine line between customer service being helpful and getting in your way. I did find the rep to be a little too involved and she didn't really give me the space to consider my options with my own thoughts. There were also some specifics that I was very sure I was looking for (size of the pot), and she kept trying to convince me otherwise, which is a situation in shopping that I really hate. Don't do reviews often but I had to for this store. My boyfriend and I went to those outlets yesterday and decided to check out the Le Creuset outlet store as we had never been to one. Desiree helped us and went above on beyond. She was SO sweet, friendly, funny and helpful! Helped us find things we didn't even know we were looking for, got some early holiday shopping started. They had such a good selection and it all all very well discounted on top of it! We will 100% be back and hopefully when she is working!!! In the past, I have bought some Le Creuset pieces because I was under the impression that they are made in France, hand crafted and are of impeccable artistic quality. However, there are so many pieces in this store that are made from China and Thailand that it has left a bad taste in my mouth. Price gouging the consumers for sweatshop production. After my long loved and used Pyrex dish exploded upon taking it out of the oven last night, I felt it was too much of a safety hazard for me to keep my other Pyrex dishes (5 total), especially with young children in the house. My husband gave me the task of finding quality dishes to replace our Pyrex, and there were many brands that intrigued me, but they all required shipping to my house as they weren't available in a store front. Since we use our baking dishes all the time, I couldn't wait for something to be shipped to my house. I found out this outlet existed last night, and I was incredibly excited at the possibility of getting everything I needed at the outlet. I went today, and the service and prices were incredible. Jamie and another gentleman helped me. All the pieces I bought were 50% off maybe because the color was a bit off or they were pieces they didn't sell at the holidays. I was so set on getting a rectangle set of baking dishes in certain colors, but the prices held me back a little bit. When Jamie pointed out a set of beautiful OVAL dishes for half price in the colors I loved, my ears perked up a bit. Then she found me a 50% off pie dish in a color I liked and another couple of small baking dishes in a color I didn't consider at first and now love! And you guessed it - 50% off! If you are open to maybe a different color or shape, and if you hit it at the right time, you will definitely get some great deals. I saved $150 off normal prices and about $80 off of current sale prices online. Don't hesitate! Go in if you need some items for your kitchen. read more

I'm a little bit of a Le Creuset nut so when I heard they opened a new outlet a couple hours from me I had to check it out! The new store design is beautiful; it's modern, simple and colorful without being "cold." Everything was neat and tidy and the staff were wonderful to talk with. They had some unique items that I hadn't seen at other outlets which is always nice. We ended up leaving without buying anything we wanted because Lu was so damn rude/condescending toward us!! She spelled my wife's name wrong (a common/easy spelling) and blamed my wife for her own misspelling.
