Food was terrific. Sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the bells of adjacent church. Really set the mood of the Parisian flavour. The waiter was very fast with the food delivery, so I give a good review of the service

Atmosphere: 5 The restaurant is super cute and had a nice view of the street. Their bathroom is downstairs and were basically toilet rooms with the sink outside. We were seated in a two person booth and it was cozy there. I think anywhere else would be a little chilly. The menu has both French and English on it! Service: 5 The waiter was nice and he was attentive to what we were trying to order despite not speaking French. He knew some English too so that helped a ton! Food: 5 We ordered beef tartare, onion soup, and the mix cheese and meat charcuterie board. The beef tartare was very well seasoned and tasted so good. It came with fries that weren't very salted which was fine because it paired so nice with the beef tartare. The bread came with the board which had a nice mix of cheeses and meats. The onion soup was really nice. It didn't hit you with a strong flavor and smell of onions and the toasted baguette in the soup added a nice crunch. Overall, it was a nice meal and I might try something different than the cheese and meat board.

Had a wonderful experience here on my last trip to Paris, excellent service and quality of food. Very helpful and accommodating staff (no French speakers in the group I was in). Drinks are wonderful, and I loved the food as well. Baked Camembert with honey (a special on the day we came) especially stood out. Went back later in the trip and had a similarly nice experience. Nice spot for travelers.

I enjoyed this dinner! We shared the cheese board and escargot, I enjoyed both! I had the beef carpaccio for dinner, it was really delicious and came with arugula, burrata and artichoke hearts. I sampled the duck confit which was really tasty. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert which was alright. Overall, I'd recommend this stop!

Nice Parisian cafe friendly and good service - enjoyed a quick breakfast with strong coffee and a tasty omelette and pastries. A rainy day out but charming spot near my hotel. Recommended.

Hubs decided on this restaurant for dinner as the duck confit caught his attention. Upon our arrival, we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waiter was very friendly and took time to point out the specials and some items on the menu to us. Started with the melon and prosciutto salad starter to share. The melon was sweet and great pairing with the prosciutto. Also fresh mozzarella on top of the salad. Hubs and dad ordered the duck confit and both found it very flavorful. The meat was falling off the bones. I ordered the salmon tartare (Le Kyoto). At first glance it may seem like a small dish, but it was actually a pretty generous portion and filling. Sesame oil served on the side. Refreshing and not heavy. Daughter ordered the linguine. Didn't realize it was served with pesto. She has a nut allergy but learned this pesto was made nut free. Lots of pasta which she enjoyed. Based on our dishes, we decided to order a duck confit and melon salad for take away for mom and son. Packaged nicely. However, found out later the melon was missing from my mom's salad - that was the best part missing.

I usually go here for breakfast but this time I tried it for dinner. I was craving for Duck Confit. It was amazingly good! The potatoes were perfectly crispy and slight garlic flavor was perfect touch. Service was wonderful and very professional. Love this place!

Cute restaurant near the Arc de Triomphe

Really enjoyed Le Franc Tireur. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our large party without a reservation. The food was very good and the cocktail were delicious! The restaurant is located on a cute corner property in the 17th so not overly crowded and a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe.

My colleagues and I ate one evening after walking around Paris. Although it was warm outside we chose to eat inside due to the prevalent cigarette smoke outside. It took forever to be served here but we were not in a hurry this time. I ordered a lamb shank and some French Fries. The food was very good and might have been the best meal that I had on that two week trip to Europe. My colleagues also enjoyed their food as well. The service was slow but the food was very good. The location was very busy. Cheers to my English-speaking waiter and cheers to the recommendation to order Pelforth, a not brown ale that tastes similar to Newcastle but the Pelforth has a better kick. Four stars!

My husband and I stopped in Le Franc Tireur late one evening on our first visit to Paris. We stopped in after seeing they served French Onion soup and truffle risotto. Unfortunately during our visit they no longer had the risotto on the menu, so instead we tried the escargot and the fish special of the day. Everything we ate was very tasty but what stood out most to us was the service! I regret not getting our servers name because he is top notch. He made us feel very comfortable with our extremely limited French and was very helpful with his recommendations. We had a great evening at Le Franc Tireur and are so thankful we stopped in!

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses.
