However, they did not call me to address that the aesthetician i made the appointment with was actually not available because she's on holidays therefore I drove out for no reason. I hate writing bad reviews like this but I think it's important to warn women - ESPECIALLY young women or any woman who may struggle with facial or body dysmorphia - about the experience I had at this place. I came in as a new patient for botox. I hadn't checked reviews but the place seemed clean and nice and centrally located so I thought "let's give it a shot". The older woman who was administering the botox was very much a saleswoman from the moment I came in the door. Telling me about a bunch of new lasers and other treatments that they offered there. Okay, that's fine. She's excited about her practice, no big deal I guess. As she begins administering the botox she starts to pick apart my appearance and telling me what's wrong with me and mentioning that Brandi Glanville (of all people to be promoting plastic surgery services - sorry, fans) is doing all these things at her spa and if I want to look like Brandi I should try all these add ons because from what she can see I clearly have all these issues. She recommends several high priced solutions because my skin is in such bad condition (something I've NEVER been told before by any dermatologist or doctor or person in general). Lastly, and this is where I think people need to be WARNED against places and practitioners like this: when she was done with the botox she said "let me give you my critique on your face" (unprovoked and unasked for). She told me that I had a "weak chin" and that it was so bad that I needed a LOT of help. She told me it was likely that it would continue to get worse. For weeks I lived in shame of this horrible chin - dissecting it in the mirror. I even had two plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills take a look at it. BOTH were aghast. Both of them told me that my chin was in perfect ratio to my face and that doing ANYTHING to it would be a horrible choice. They also told me that NO ONE should ever ever give you unsolicited feedback about an area you didn't ask feedback on or have concern with. This woman was trying to make extra money and in turn, it made me self-conscious and feel shame around something two board certified DOCTORS said they would never touch in a million years. Be careful ladies. Do your research and don't give money to people like this who go out of their way to rack up sales at the expense of your emotional, mental and physical health. read more

I had a very poor experience here. Besides the fact I waited there for 20 minutes before the aesthetician brought me in for the appointment and I even had to ask why I was waiting so long, I have painful cuts on my neck from the dermaplaning and the lady shaved down one of my eyebrows into a high arch without my knowledge. I came for a facial not a threading appointment. When I called and told them about this they said I should have told them I didn't want my eyebrows done and it's my fault for not telling them I didn't want my "stragglers" shaved, as you will see in the photo she shaved my brow not stragglers. On top of that after I spoke to my dermatologist about what happened he told me you're not even allowed to dermaplane eyelids so there's no reason why she should have been there anyway. I came in to see Lenore last weekend for a facial and microdermabrasion treatment during Spaweek. The results are incredible! My skin looks so near perfect I hardly recognized myself. This is a "Disneyland" of rides to make you look and feel good! There is so much to try out here. I first went to Le Jolie to get a glutathione shot to help me detox and boost my energy. Dr. Rafaeloff who administered the shot was delightful. I returned for another glutathione shot and a Myer's Cocktail IV drip to boost my immune system and once again had an enjoyable experience. The sweet nurse made sure the room was comfortable with soothing lighting and background sound of chirping birds. While I waited for one of my treatments, I tried the oxygen bar with a selection of lightly flavored scents (lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint and lemongrass). I chose eucalyptus and found that it helped my sinuses! It's not intrusive like hospital oxygen. The light and thin tube is held over your ears and a small opening lets the oxygen in through your nose. I also had the phototherapy which is not only good for anti-aging purposes but helped me sleep a full eight hours that night, something I hadn't done in years. Sharona, one of the owners, and the rest of the staff are also friendly and welcoming. Can hardly wait to try out more of their services! read more

I rarely post any reviews and if I do, it means Im extremely happy and satisfied and would love to share it with others. I went in for botox and lip filler couple days ago and the reason I waited a few days to post a comment is because I wanted to wait and see how would my face look. When I went in I told Dr. Parvaneh I wanted my botox and filler to be natural cozI dont like it to be over and repeated it couple times and she kept on ensuring me it will be very natural and she explained everything she was going to do and the product she will be using which made me feel very comfortable. Sure enough my face looks very good and Im extremely pleased and will definitely not only go back but also would highly recommend her. Already couple of my friends will be going there. UPDATE: I still have one Fractora treatment left that I haven't returned for due to a scar that formed on my left cheek from the second treatment (nearly over 6 months ago). It formed from going over the area a few times, and I did show a few concerns right after treatment, even sent an email with photos and scheduled a follow up. They suggested that I wait it out for it to heal... which I did, 6 months. Followed all the rules. Was gentle with skincare, diligent with sunscreen, stayed out of the sun, even dropped some coin on many-a-collagen-boosting serum. I did my best to wait it out, the rest of my face has been great, but my top left cheek never completely healed and I never received a complete answer of what my other options were for addressing the scar. So as much as I hate to do it... I did have to take two Stars away due to the scar that formed and the unresponsive of the team about how to rectify the scar. I will still schedule the 3rd appointment (I did pay for it, after all). I am a little hesitant because I really hope my next experience is more like the 1st than the second. But I am also hopeful due to my previous positive experiences. read more

I've been to the Le Jolie in West Hollywood several times and always had a wonderful experience. I figured I would try the Studio City location since it seemed to always have more availability. I booked a facial so I could have a relaxing treatment before a party, and the facialist seemed to be uninterested in doing a facial. I was expecting an hour of washing, exfoliating, a neck massage-the usual. She insisted that I should get a perfect peel because I wear a mask in my profession. I told her multiple times that I had an event that night, and she assured me the peel wouldn't be an issue and that I would love it. We started with dermaplaning, which was fine. Then eventually I agreed to do the Perfect Peel. I asked her once again if it would be ok for an event that night and if it would hurt. Again, I wanted something relaxing, like my facials usually are. She assured me that it would not be painful and that I would be fine for my event. She immediately starts wiping my face with some towelette and my face begins to BURN. It was excruciating and it smelled awful. I winced and told her it burned and she laughed and said it's not that bad. I kept wincing at the burning and suggested that maybe because I had just done dermaplaning, it probably wasn't a good idea to do an abrasive peel. She laughed and said "that'll do it." She kept applying the peel for about 15 minutes, and then said we were all done. I walked in expecting at least an hour and a half of relaxation, and suddenly I was out the door. We discussed after care, where I reminded her once more that I had an event tonight-only then did she let me know that I couldn't wash my face until the following morning. "But I need to wear makeup tonight," I protested. She told me I could wear makeup and just leave it on overnight and wash the makeup and the peel off in the morning. Something is not adding up here, but she reassured me that I would love it and if I had any questions, I could call. I ended up with a bill of over $400, and worriedly walked back to my car. I opened the mirror and saw my face was completely bright orange. Immediately I panic-this was NEVER mentioned and makeup would NOT cover this color. I called her less than two minutes after my appointment ended, and she apparently wasn't there anymore, but the receptionist told me that peels often make you a little red. I said, I'm not a little red, I'm completely bright orange. She asked if I could text her a picture and she would show the facialist. I sent a photo, and the receptionist replied that the facialist said this was normal and it would be covered when I applied BB cream. Bb cream? I don't own bb cream and the facialist even made it a point to ask me what type of makeup I would be wearing that night. I told her tinted moisturizer-very sheer. This is not going to cover this color and it's certainly not going to make the consistent burning subside. I will never return to Le Jolie Spa. read more

I did emsculpt treatments here and I didn't have a great experience. It was expensive and honestly didn't work at all. The people working there were nice but there was nothing special and for over 3k and hours of treatments I'm disappointed with my results. AMAZING! This was my first facial & I had Norma who was out of this world! She really took the time to assess my skin and my concerns to give me a custom facial & offered great advice on ways to improve some skin issues I have (dark spots). Very gentle & the extraction part isn't so bad when you focus on breathing. The best part is the facial includes a 10 minute shoulder or foot massage which was amazing! Very relaxing. I went there for a chemical peel to lighten 2 dark spots, Sharona applied and mixed 2 different strong chemical peels without telling me and I did tell her specifically the areas, she applied it every where even where I didn't need it. I decided to get a fill after my amazing facial- NIGHTMARE LASH EXPERIENCE. The process hurt. Like my eyes were in massive pain. The lash tech, Jen, said that's normal and I'll get used to it. Ummm no. My eyes have never hurt during the lash process. I asked for long and full. She gave me "natural" (short lashes that look just like what I walked in with as my real lashes) and then told me what I wanted would make me look like a drag queen. Then to make it worst...she chased me to the check out kept telling me people love lashes she does and made me look at IG photos of her work. I couldn't even give a deserved tip because she was hawk eyeing me when I was asked how much for a tip. If that was not enough it's been two days and my eyes still hurt. Lashes feel like cactus on my lids. My lids are swollen and I don't even like the way they look. {worst lash experience ever} *when a different lash tech exercises the right to refuse service based on an honest review. THE BEST. As a Korean female, it's practically sacrilegious for me to not go to Koreatown for skin care. However I found Le Jolie through Groupon for a microdermabrasion deal and figured I'd give it a try since I live in the valley. I've had two microdermabrasion and my skin feels INCREDIBLE. I had one from Shekinah and my second from Sharona, both of them are miracle workers.
