They were so generous in offering me "the treatment I deserved" and so I took them up on it. The difference was night and day. My practitioner this time was so present and knowledgeable, she walked me through every step and was extremely thorough, skilled, and professional. I felt at ease during and after. She even prepared me a serum sample to apply for my aftercare. I was so impressed this time around, I feel comfortable recommending Le Jolie for non surgical procedures. This review is pertaining to my facial experience only. I scheduled a facial for myself on my birthday with Farah B. I'm not sure why I was expecting a proper spa experience for the prices requested, I assume a standard facial included face, neck & décolletage area. I entered her treatment room a little after scheduled time and was instructed lay down keeping my shirt on. In that moment I should've just declined service because I knew I would not be getting pampered at that point. I booked a custom facial with intentions to upgrade. Once I laid down I immediately asked to get a dermaplane facial instead & asked for her recommendations once accessing my skin. Of course without much description she suggested I get one of their most expensive treatments offered. Not abnormal but if I'm starting at $150 price point I'd like a full introduction as to why I would upgrade to a $425 treatment. I declined. I asked her what was included in the dermaplane facial and she quickly says that's all you get just dermaplane for $165 no cleansing, no extractions, no steam, no mask just dermaplane. At this point I'm confused and thrown off entirely because her facial steamer wasn't even on at the start of service which is something I look forward to and expect once laying down. She advised I stick to custom and add dermaplane as an add on, as well was an enzyme mask since I told her my issues was dullness and clogged pores. The total came out to $260 which I would've been completely fine with if I received a decent facial steam with a double cleanse, extractions, explanation of products being used on my face and some sort of facial/shoulder massage. Multiple times during the service I had to ask what she was using or if she even put the enzyme on. At this point I just felt like I was getting a beginner student facial with random drug store products. At the end of service after she gets this hydrojelly mixture stuck in my hair and lashes she doesn't even moisturize me or ask if I want sunscreen. Why would anyone pay for this, honestly mind blown I could've asked my niece to play on my face. I really don't want to drag this out with more opinionated mistakes. I just had a bad experience which is upsetting because I used to love getting my facials here at the previous location. read more

They lie to force you to come back. I found this spot because it's next to my daughters preschool, and decided to check it out. I have a small scar on my nose and talked with a woman about a laser treatment to dissolve it. I was hesitant because I've heard sometimes the lasers don't work, and she assured me because it's such a small spot that if it didn't work (which they made it seem like wouldn't happen) to come back and they'd do a second treatment. Well sure enough it didn't work, so I made another appointment and when I showed up today, they not only accused me of lying about what the woman told me, but were extremely rude and not accommodating at all. It was incredibly embarrassing and a complete bait and switch to force me to come back and spend more money when they assured me it would either work or they'd accommodate. I never leave bad reviews but this left a horrible taste in my mouth. A friend had warned my about this place after they'd poisoned her with an IV that wasn't in her vein and blew up her arm/made her violently ill, but I tried anyway for convenience. I went here for some injections a month ago. And without reading my medical chart, the MD applied numbing cream to my skin that made me break out into large red hives. When I contacted Brian at the spa, he said they use a cream called BLT. With a quick google search, I found out it is Benzocaine, Lidocaine and Tretacaine. They all use an ingredient I am allergic to which was written on my medical papers declaring my allergies. WHY WOULD YOU ASK PPL ABOUT THEIR ALLERGIES AND NOT READ THEM? The following day, they told me to come in and talk to the MD. She said that she thought that I was allergic to "sugarcane, but who knows". Which the alarm siren went off in my head because why wouldn't a BOARD CERTIFIED MEDICAL DOCTOR not know what a -Caine ingredient is?? And how could she make the mistake of Caine to be Sugarcane? AND I was sitting right there, so why wouldn't you just ask me about it since I've only been trying to dodge them my entire life? She then accused me of playing games with her (What for? Why?) and then told me to sue her then. IF MY SKIN DID NOT RECOVER FROM THAT INCIDENT, THIS WOULDNT BE A YELP REVIEW BUT IT WOULD BE A LAWSUIT INSTEAD. I just do not understand all of the arguing + unapologetic attitude toward someone who was trying to reschedule an appointment and had a bad experience.) I had left a voicemail to reschedule my appointment. There was some miscommunication with the front desk person around who would call whom back and when. When I replied to their no show email that I had actually called to reschedule, someone proceeded to argue with me over three emails at exactly what I did or didn't say in my voicemail and who should have called whom back. I really would have appreciated a professional response such as, "We are so sorry we missed you and had this miscommunication issue. When would you like to come in?" If one of my customer support people at my company acted this and argued with a customer (especially one who had spent over eight thousands of dollars with my company), I would have to let them go. As I had a family emergency the day I needed to reschedule, I just wasn't in the mood to pretend this behavior was normal or acceptable. Still giving five stars because Kaego. read more

From the second I walked into the spa, to the second I left, my whole experience was absolutely amazing!! Haley was so accommodating while booking my appointment over the phone, and was so welcoming and sweet during the whole check-in process. My beautiful PA Kaego then brought me into her room to start my treatment. Procedure was fine but customer service was sub par. Came here for a lip flip in February 2020. Scheduling was easy. The gal at the front desk was pleasant. The interior is very chic and "grammable". My opinion of the place started to go down hill when I got into the room. The doctor came in hurriedly, didn't introduce herself. Barely explained what was going to happen, didn't explain aftercare or give me the opportunity to ask questions. I had previously worked for a cosmetic dermatologist so I had some idea of the do's and dont's, but as a brand new patient I expected more. The whole visit seemed rushed. Writing this review in August because I recently went to Alchemy 43 on 3rd St for the same procedure and had a wayyyyy better experience. Results from Le Jolie were good and the price was reasonable because they were running a Valentine's Day special, but in general the customer service wasn't up to par and the regular prices are a little high. read more

There's no one there to great you. When they do show up, they are rude obnoxious LA wannabes that you dread when going to places like these. I've been here for everything, facials, Botox, filler, laser hair removal and every time I have the best experience. Nurse Ashley is the the best nurse ever. She was truly made to be a nurse! She's patient, gentle and listens to my areas of concern. Other med spas always make me feel like I HAVE to get more of this or more of that, even if it's something I haven't expressed concern over. If Nurse Ashley feels like I don't need it she is honest about that. The inside of the medi spa is more of a homey vibe. It doesn't feel like that cold sterile office that you are used to when it comes to getting treatments. I have waited three weeks to give this review because I wanted to make sure that my facial was as wonderful as I thought it was immediately after. Prior to this, I thought I never wanted another facial again! The previous esthetician that I visited sold me on a bunch of really expensive products and instructed me to start a regimen that ended up being terrible for my skin. It has been difficult because I've never had problematic skin. So, needless to say I was nervous going into my appointment at Le Jolie, but Johnny was not intimidated by any of my past issues/problems....he listened to all of my concerns and issues before treating me, and he did not upsell me on anything that I don't feel was necessary. I went in thinking that I would pay one price and there were a couple of add-ons and products that I needed to purchase but that's not really unusual. Furthermore, it is working, the serum that Johnny suggested is phenomenal and I have not had a break-out on my forehead since I left his office, I am really in shock by the results! I am booking my next appointment now. I look forward to working with him in the future. It's more than a relief to have someone so passionate about skincare and the results are proof. i spent 2k regrettably. i went in for a consultation specifically said on my paperwork that my focus was the texture of my skin from previous acne scars. i call them "craters". within a few seconds of lookin at my face in the consultation she automatically recommended Fractotal. which did seem pretty fast to me but i accepted. theres not much pain in the facial. but i did have to call out for 3 days of work, twice. so i look at my loss even more than the 2k. I went back for a follow up maybe a month later. told her i saw no difference. i had no break outs for a month which was nice. but i only have about 1 pimple at a time. so i dont have a issue w acne. she said lets schedule a follow up session. went back about a month later. to find out there she was charging me for the follow up session ! i never agreed to this. but i ended up paying. as to not have the first $1700 go down the drain i spent another $300 to hope to see results. she then tells me no u need another session of fratora to see results. WHY DIDNT SHE TELL ME THIS THE 1ST time. had i known it would take a few sessions i never even would have gone thru w it in the 1st place. they prob do good facials n other light treatments but i feel scammed w this laser fractora. read more

I've gone to Le Jolie Medi Spa 3x now, twice for Botox and once for a facial. I'm new to medi spas in general as I'm 28 and just started getting treatments in the last year. So didn't have a ton of previous experience of knowledge to go off of really, but I am able to recognize that if I say no to something as the customer that that wish should be listened to because it's my body. My 2nd time going in for Botox I was supposed to see Kaego. I had a wonderful experience with her for my first time. When I arrived I was greeted by Vera instead. The front desk receptionist said they'd called me multiple times and left voicemails trying to let me know in advance that Kaego wasn't available. I let her know that I had no missed calls or voicemails from them, so that was a lie...the receptionist continued to argue with me and deny that she did not call. I proceeded to do the appointment since I was already there. Vera and I did a consultation where I said I wanted a few more units than my first time in the same places. She asked if I wanted to do my eyebrows as well for some lift and I said no, I did not want that. She then goes and gets the needle and starts doing the injections. At the very end, she says we're just going to do a little bit in the eyebrows and just sticks me without even asking after I had specifically told her in the consultation NO to eyebrows. Pretty sure that is completely illegal and that I could sue over this. I stewed on this experience for a couple days since I am new to the process and thought maybe that was normal..I asked more experienced friends who assured me that was 100% not okay. I then called the spa and spoke to Brian the manager. I asked him for some sort of refund for the service not only because she did something I said no to but also because I have indentations forming on my forehead due to improper injections. He said he would need to talk to Vera to hear her side first and get back to me. It's now been 2 days with no phone call back. I called again and a receptionist said he wasn't in but that they'd be sure to find a solution that "made both parties happy." Excuse me????? BOTH PARTIES? You've got to be kidding me...what happened was illegal and your response to me is that we'll make sure to find a mutually beneficial solution...unbelievable. I'm never coming back to this spa.
