However, the French toast was really disappointing! It looked completely unappetizing with a thick, dark brown layer of the egg mixture on top that was peeling off of the otherwise dry bread...May be the chef needs a refresher on how to make a decent French Toast!!! The fruit (Sassy apples) that came with it was a miniature serving, barely enough for one of the toast slices. I wanted to send it back but was short on time, so just wasted it. Instantanly I pour the syrup on top and then slice the french toast into the perfect cube bites. I think its called the Lumberjack....2 slices of fresh toast, eggs, potatoes, and bacon or sausage. The bacon I ask for extra crispy, not burnt...eggs scrambled fluffy and potatoes I ask for them to be cooked a little bit more so theres a nice crunch to it! Everything is made right when you order. I stumbled upon this place after it was suggested to me, and I must say, I'm glad that I listened! There are brunch options on the menu for literally everyone. I usually go for the Wanderer Panhandled Skillet. It includes, potatoes, crisp bacon, onions, tomatoes and cheese, topped with two eggs. I absolutely love the flavors combined together, and the eggs set it off. The skillets are typically my go-to. Definitely a family-friendly place, and they stay pretty busy, so you may have a bit of a wait. I highly recommend it to others! read more

First time here...a bit on the pricey side for breakfast but I suppose they have to pay rent to be in Las Colinas. Staff was pleasant from the moment we walked into until we left, which made it a good experience. Had an early breakfast here before a training seminar at the Marriott Las Colinas, which was a short drive. I had the Tex Mex Burger, which isn't really a burger at all. It's a lean burger cooked well and placed on crispy hash browns. They top it with green chili, cheese and an egg made to your liking. It also comes with diced tomatoes and green onions, with a fried jalapeno and sliced avocado on the side. It was very tasty! My friend got the Belgian Waffle Combo and she ate the entire waffle and said it was delicious. The coffee was really good here, too. Really nice little place for brunch Some friends and i had been out late consuming many adult beverages the night before, so I was craving some substantial breakfast food. I got one of their skillets and really enjoyed it. The combination of flavors was good and the eggs had the yolks runny, just how I like it. There was a lot of food at good quality for the price and I would definitely come again. My complaints are quite small. The table was on the small side and felt cramped when all of our plates and drinks came out. Our waitress, though very polite and friendly, did take quite a while to bring drinks and refills, but it was rather busy, being a Sunday morning. It took a long time to get our check as well. This place gave me a food baby!! In a good way! I came here for lunch because I was in the area. And just a tip, my GPS was not accurate, it kept telling me the apartments next door was the restaurant so I had to look on a map to get me there. It's located on the corner right before said apartments. We got sat fairly quick, it was just the two of us and they gave us a huge table which I thought was odd but good to have the extra space. I ordered a country benedict with ham on the side. I got a dirty look (as I often do for asking for the ham on the side, not that hard people just put it on a plate instead of underneath, just sayin lol). Anyways, food took a bit but boy was it worth it!! It was not the traditional eggs benedict as it had scrambled eggs, but the eggs were super fluffy moist and flavorful. The hashbrows were crispy and seasoned just right. English muffin slightly burnt, but I didn't mind. I finished my whole plate (hense the food baby) and that is rare for me! I enjoyed the restaurant overall and we had a nice waitress. The omelet was not seasoned well and the broccoli in the omelet was pieces only and no florets (i.e the butt pieces of the broccoli). On the weekends this place is always super crowded, with lines going out the front. I now see what the hype's about. I was able to check out Le Peep with a friend on a Saturday around noon (thankfully there were no lines) and we had a great little experience to dine and chat in a casual environment. Nothing super fancy or crazy here, just solid breakfast food. We went for the pancakes of the month, which were topped with strawberries and had that awesome diner pancake feel. (You know how pancakes from a diner are just different from pancakes you make at home?) Bacon was a bit overcooked. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and eggy. The service was really friendly and didn't try to rush us or anything as we caught up with each other. They were quick to come around with refills too. When in Texas, you have to try out this cute little breakfast joint in Los Colinas. My husband wanted to take me around his home town that way I could get a feel of what's around me. COMPLETELY different from Hawaii, let me tell you! We started off our day by going to le peep. Upon arrival, the parking lot was fairly empty, we did get there rather early. Well if you think about it, I'm lagging 5 hours behind compared to most people in Texas, but moving on! We entered the joint, and it was very nice and neat. We got a table immediately and our server was fantastic. Back home you don't have many places really that will let you pick from a variety of coffees to drink. To be honest with you, this is one of the few breakfast places I actually like. I ended getting the hazelnut coffee and if my memory serves me right it was pretty amazing. On to the food. We for avocado toast to share. I got one of those really hearty brekfast plates with eggs, protein and a strach. I can't remember what my husband had (3 months behind on this review). I liked the way everything came out and was presented. The food tasted delicious and it was a good price compared to most joints back home in Hawaii. I like how personal everything was as well. Our waiter was able to explain to me what popular, how everything worked, and paid attention to detail on what was lacking at our table. Overall, will come back again. Awesome food and good staff. Our waiter was Alex who was awesome. Ask for him. Super knowledgeable and very personable and helpful he tries hard to make you happy. I had the biscuit with gravy as a side and the eggs with cheese mushrooms and bacon and a side of potatoes super filling. Also the Texas pecan coffee was pretty delish. They have a few coffee flavors to pick from which I also appreciated. Prices were reasonable and there is a pretty good breakfast variety. My only issue was we wanted the chicken fried steak and they did not tell us until 10 or 15 min after taking our order that they were out so we ordered the burrito but thankfully all of the food still came out together. I used to come here every Sunday when I lived in Las Colinas, then when I moved I sort of forgot about this place. I started coming again for breakfast as a small treat once a week, as it's on my way to the office after dropping the kids off at school, and I have to say, it is still very good. Love the eggs Benedict - they have the right amount of ham and hollandaise - but the best thing about this place is the staff - super friendly, fast service and always smiling. After staying out in the cold for this interval of time, we went in respectfully in masks to inquire as to what our status was. We were tersely told that there were three parties ahead of us and rudely ordered back into the cold. I was starving for breakfast or brunch food on a late Saturday morning after staying the night at the Omni Mandalay, so I was really excited to see a Le Peep nearby. I also found out that they have a pretty great gluten-free menu. They make it very clear that while they do their best to create safe GF meals, they don't have a designated GF kitchen space. Good to know and eat at your own risk. I ordered the GF pancakes which came with 2 eggs (I chose over medium), bacon or sausage (bacon duh), and "peasant potatoes" - little breakfast potato cubes cooked with onions and herbs. My food was definitely delicious and I love the heavy, colorful plates. Le Peep's got that rustic, cottage-y feeling down. My eggs and pancakes were perfect, but I always find the peasant potatoes to be a little underdone. The bacon wasn't impressive either, extremely thin and still somehow very greasy. I ate it anyway because it was good enough! The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. Maybe because it was 11:45 on a Saturday morning and there had (most likely) been a huge crowd earlier on, but I thought the restaurant was kind of dirty. Dark colored carpet isn't a good idea in an eatery! The floor was covered in visible crumbs, which isn't appetizing, and then an employee would walk by every now and again with one of those weird cordless sweepy vacuum things that doesn't seem to do much. Hmm. Also, probably because I was a party of one, I was seated at the only small table right next to the bathrooms. I should have immediately asked for a different spot, but I didn't want to take up a larger space when it was just me. I don't know... it's just not appetizing to have people constantly walking by you opening and shutting bathroom doors. I had a great first experience at Le Peep. First off i have to give thanks to the hard working wait staff thats working there they really made my visit there a good one. When we first arrived we wanted to sit outside since it was such a nice day but what we didn't know was that no one else had eaten outside so the staff had to basically set everything up. ME and my girlfriend felt a little guilty that they had to set everything up just for us to eat outside if we had known that we would have just dined in. After they got us set up one of the waiters even brought us an umbrella for shade cause he said it was a little worm outside. I was like this place is awesome these guys went out of their way to make us comfortable what great service. Our waiter JC took good care of us even though we were the only ones sitting outside he didn't forget about us he was nice and checked in on us every few minutes to make sure we had everything we needed. We pretty much knew what we wanted so we ordered right away. My girlfriend had the greens forever which was scrambled eggs with spinach with an english muffin and potatoes. I got the lumberjack it was pancakes eggs sausage and potatoes what a filling meal. The sausage was pretty goos it was the second best thing behind the pancakes which i got them blueberry style cause that my favorite. The food was delicious and the service was even better. At the end of our meal JC even told us about the Le Peep punch card so when we come again we can earn points toward a free meal how cool is that. Been here twice with my boyfriend and I now refuse to go anywhere else for breakfast. The staff here is absolute perfection. Every restaurant manager should come to this location and take away a few pointers. To start off, the food here is excellent. There's an extremely wide selection for breakfast, as well as a few pleasant looking items for lunch. Le Peep is your ideal brunch location; with pancakes and benedicts to club sandwiches. An ice cold pitcher of water is always supplied at every table, along with a small assortment of jams for your toast or English muffin. I'm not a huge fan of breakfast foods, but I can never resist ordering something from here that pertains to breakfast. My personal favorite is The Gypsy, which is a skillet based breakfast that combines all my favorite ingredients into a melted perfection. My boyfriend and I have also tried the omelets here, and I'll admit that they taste way better than any omelet that I make at home. The Carnivore is my boy's favorite omelet, which is filled with every single meat you could ask for, along with melted cheese that blends the flavors well. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about Le Peep. I can ensure you that your visit will not be disappointing because the staff makes sure that your party is comfortable and enjoying every minute of your meal. 5/5 stars. It feels like I'm sitting on a high school theater stage. There was this completely weirdly placed 2 top table in the middle of the restaurant. Weird seating for sure. Our waitress was excellent. Don't turn away till you try the food. When we first arrived, we were a little turned off. The manager appeared rude. What we didn't realize was she was desperately trying to accommodate a large wait list and keep everyone happy. Once we got seated, she personally brought us coffee of our choice. Le everything. This place is good and you get what you expect. They are good for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch but i would not say they are cheap, but then again then aren't expensive. It was really my only option whilst staying at the Four Seasons near by and the service was excellent. They atmoshpere is good and the seating comfortable. The wait staff very very willing to substitute and there wasn't an additional charge for everything. All in all a good experience. This is ONE of the BEST breakfast places in the area! I mean, where can you get an ENTIRE thermos full of coffee for JUST $2.70 and it's refillable?
