I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns. The serving size was more than I could eat, as usual but very delicious and I don't mind when I am able to take my left overs to Ben. I also ordered Ben the Gooey Buns, which are an English muffin broiled with brown sugar, cinnamon and almonds with cream cheese icing. My server was very polite and accommodating, allowing me time to decide without making me feel rushed. LOVE LE PEEP!! Every time I go the service and the food is amazing! I ALWAYS get the gooey buns and eat every single one the toasted almonds are delicious I've never had anything so delicious. For savory I like the drifter skillet. I've never had broccoli in a skillet but I love broccoli so it was delicious. I asked for a tortilla instead of toast and they were able to make that substitution for me. I like that the restaurant isn't too loud and I am able to truly feel relaxed while I eat my brunch! I go to le peep often and it is still one of my favorite brunch places. The only complaint was that we ordered the cinnamon roll as an appetizer but the server forgot about it and we never got it. When I come here I always get the desperado, it's my favorite! Has very good flavor with the chorizo and green chili! We also got the lumberjack breakfast and upgraded the pancakes to chocolate chip pancakes. The lumberjack breakfast itself is okay it's pretty plain and simple but the pancakes are yummy! This used to be a favorite of ours. We haven't been in awhile so gave it a try. Underwhelming was our overall takeaway. I had the Denver omelette. It just had no flavor. Very little cheese and the ham and onions were tasteless. The fruit on the side was not fresh and all tasted the same. I'm guessing it was all stored together for some time. GF options are nice. My daughter had the Belgian waffle and she liked it so that was our plus. Lastly, the atmosphere is nice on the patio but the interior is looking run down and does not smell the best. read more

Le Peep was a really big disappointment. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant if in the Lakewood area. I visited Le Peep at around 11 a.m. on a Friday in mid-July with four other guests. We were sat at an indoor table almost immediately. Tables and booths are available. Outdoor seating is also available. I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich (without meat), which came with a fruit cup side (guests can also choose between breakfast potatoes and hash browns). I also ordered an iced chai latte. My check was about $17, before tip. The breakfast croissant was quite bland. Without meat, it featured only the croissant, an egg of choice and cream cheese. The chai was tasty but on the sweeter side. The fruit cup was really a disappointment. It was small and featured one shriveled blueberry and a cut orange slice that looked more like decoration that something meant for consumption. My fellow guests ordered an array of different breakfast items, but there were complaints about the breakfast potatoes, which looked raw. The biggest disappointment with Le Peep was the service. I don't think it was the wait staff's fault, as they appeared very understaffed, but it took forever to put our order in and to get our checks. Our waiter just seemed overall flustered and I noticed at least one other table flag him down with concerns that he had forgotten them. The bathroom was clean but quite small. read more

Perhaps I just got unlucky, but I didn't have the greatest experience. First time trying this chain and came in with high hopes because it was busy and had good reviews. My food was 2 star at best. I got the pesto and spinach sandwich on the breakfast menu. The bread was limp, avocado was literally BROWN ): had to scrape it and didn't even eat the bread it was touching. Potatoes were undercooked too so they didn't get eaten. The workers at the host stand were reallllyyyy nice I definitely enjoyed talking to them. One of them though, a young curly hair woman I assume was the manager wasn't too friendly though. Do better queen. She tried to have them give me a coffee that had been sitting and was all watered down. I refused because I had called ahead and asked them not to make the coffee yet because I was 20 min away. They made me a new one but ya I just thought it was weird you would try to make me walk off with that sub par beverage. Would've paired nicely though with my sub par meal though! The menu is very extensive and offers many options to satisfy everyone. We ordered pancakes, a couple of Gypsy skillets, eggs, kids breakfast. All the food delivered a solid meal. I wasn't that hungry, so split an omelet plate. They were kind enough to divide it in half and bring the order out on two plates. Consistency is number 1 here. I have been dining in this location ever since it opened, and I always make it back whenever I'm in Lakewood from out of town.
