Moved up North but come down to go to this location. Been going to Le Peep since the 80's mostly I want gooey buns. Don't know why just do.

I go to le peep often and it is still one of my favorite brunch places. The only complaint was that we ordered the cinnamon roll as an appetizer but the server forgot about it and we never got it. When I come here I always get the desperado, it's my favorite! Has very good flavor with the chorizo and green chili! We also got the lumberjack breakfast and upgraded the pancakes to chocolate chip pancakes. The lumberjack breakfast itself is okay it's pretty plain and simple but the pancakes are yummy! Highly recommend the desperado and chocolate chip pancakes if you come here!

Breakfast croissant sandwich (no meat) with fruit cup

Le Peep was a really big disappointment. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant if in the Lakewood area. I visited Le Peep at around 11 a.m. on a Friday in mid-July with four other guests. We were sat at an indoor table almost immediately. Tables and booths are available. Outdoor seating is also available. I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich (without meat), which came with a fruit cup side (guests can also choose between breakfast potatoes and hash browns). I also ordered an iced chai latte. My check was about $17, before tip. The breakfast croissant was quite bland. Without meat, it featured only the croissant, an egg of choice and cream cheese. The chai was tasty but on the sweeter side. The fruit cup was really a disappointment. It was small and featured one shriveled blueberry and a cut orange slice that looked more like decoration that something meant for consumption. My fellow guests ordered an array of different breakfast items, but there were complaints about the breakfast potatoes, which looked raw. The biggest disappointment with Le Peep was the service. I don't think it was the wait staff's fault, as they appeared very understaffed, but it took forever to put our order in and to get our checks. Our waiter just seemed overall flustered and I noticed at least one other table flag him down with concerns that he had forgotten them. The bathroom was clean but quite small.

We ate brunch here and the food was down right AMAZING! Alex C was our service and he was more than kind to us. He was very prompt and quick with the service as well. The place itself has a very warm feel to it ! All in all would recommend for brunch a hundred times over

What a gem found in an office building. It's open for breakfast brunch and lunch. The menu is filled with so many options. They also a pancake of the month. This month is carrot cake. We ordered breakfast. My sister got their biscuits and gravy and I got the tostado tango. Omg so yummy and filling. Tostado with refried beans eggs chorizo avocado and cilantro. Every bite was filled with flavor. Definitely stop and enjoy this food and the staff is exceptional.

Such a cute little restaurant! They have so many things to choose from too. The spinach and pesto sandwich on sour dough bread was delicious and rewarding after a good workout.

    Dirty Chai Latte

The restaurant was very down to earth in ambiance. It looked really clean and the staff was so pleasant! The food was really good, especially the dirty chai latte. The French toast was really good but it was a bit heavy on the cream stuffing so it was a bit overwhelming after a while. It was good though and I highly suggest giving it a try.

I had the best experience at Le Peep. The service was phenomenal from door on the way in and out. My server was the sweetest too! She was just the right amount of quick, and attentive. The food is excellent in flavor and arrived in no time. If you're in the Golden/Denver Colorado area.. definitely give Le Peep a try!

Can't get enough of their sweet sweet, I don't care how hot it is stand back cause I'm chugging, coffee. Yeah that's right, I'm a man and I chug my scalding hot coffee and burn my tongue and insides doing it cause I know the ladies are watching and thinking, "Now that's a man." it's a joke, weird I have to explain that these days. Anywhoosit, seriously this place is fantastic. From their food, the Quiche shove it into your mouth immediately, to the coffee and various espresso forward drinks, both hot and cold, that make my tummy very happy and my anxiety go through the roof. Just an added bonus from caffeine. Yet I digress again, just go here and stop over thinking. You'll be happy you did. Disclaimer: the author of this amazing review does not truly chug his scalding hot coffee mainly because he's very scared to do so but would never tell the ladies that. Nope, I secretly put ice in it then make a huge spectacle about chugging hot coffee. You're welcome. Go to French Press! Enjoy their drinks and really really good food. There's a few locations, but I think BelMar is the best. Also, the staff is very friendly and social, hopefully they still are after this whacky review. Classic me.

The Ruben and fries I ordered, along with a honeycrisp cider, was an absolute treat. Unfortunately, one thing has been consistent all four times I've visited: the baristas are really not friendly. Every time I've gone, it feels like I'm a bother as a customer. Like, I've been excited when they get new menu items and when I ask questions, they seem like it's a huge inconvenience to answer. They don't make any conversation and legitimately, everyone I say thank you to (after placing my order, when grabbing my matcha today), they don't say "You're welcome" or engage with me any further. Today when I went to take my matcha to go, I said "Thank you!" super cheerfully, and the barista just walked away without saying anything. It's really a bummer to feel like my mere existence bothers them when I'm paying $10 (inducing tip) for a matcha. Speaking of cost. I do not have any problem spending $10 on a delicious specialty drink. I have my favorite matcha spots around town and GLADLY pay $10 for a well-crafted drink, even when my friends or coworkers give me a hard time about spending that much. Here at Onto, the drinks are good. But I do think they're a bit overpriced. For example, two of my favorite drink spots that I regularly go to make their drinks with fresh, house made purées. You can really taste the difference. At Onto, many of the flavored drinks I've gotten, I watch them make it and they are just made with Monin syrups. To me, I'd rather pay $10 for a drink that has fresh puree versus one I can get the flavoring at any big box store. Food: The first time I visited with my husband, we were really excited about the sandos. He ordered the chicken katsu and I ordered the eggs salad. My egg salad was shockingly bland, but nothing was really wrong with it. Fine to eat, would just prefer more seasoning. But my husband's sandwich was just all tendon. To the point where you couldn't finish the sandwich because it was just chewy tendon throughout. That was the only time we've ordered food, so I can't speak to other items. But I likely won't be getting a sando again. All in all, Onto has a great menu with lots of variety and fun flavors. I've enjoyed their hojicha and their black sesame matcha. Unfortunately, it's just not going to be my go-to due to me feeling like I'm bothering them every time I go. But if you're looking for a good drink and don't give much weight to customer service, Onto is certainly worth a try.

The katsu seems like it's made as you order so the crunch is fresh and real and full of flavor with each bite. The ube latter is still one of my faves. The other sandos were just okay. Something felt missing from them - maybe a little toast of the bread like with the katsu sando. But they weren't as memorable as the katsu. In summary, Onto is still a cute coffee shop. You are more likely to get a seat if you come earlier in the day before anyone wakes up. And the best sando to choose is the katsu one. Drinks are honestly up to you. I can't drink coffee so the tune latte is my choice of a drink.
