Quick service with pretty good barbecue food. An open space with tables as well. A bit on the expensive side, but still good value.

party of 4 came here and i am so glad we did! i'm not the biggest burger or bbq fan, so i was hesitant to try, however i was persuaded that local burgy is one of the best local food trucks/trailers. it took awhile for our food to be ready, but they were extremely packed (no available tables) and a long line. once we received our food, i get why the wait was so long. i ordered the fried chicken sandwich topped with herb mayo and mac n cheese. the chicken sandwich was delicious and the perfect texture, and the mac was perfect! my friend got the brisket mac which was even better! the thai chili chicken bites were lacking in flavor and could have used a bit more spice, and the williamsburger was great. the star of the show though was the bbq brisket cheese curds fries. A great neighborhood bbq joint. Hard working folks there. I love their brisket and burger combo with the onion ring. Sweet potato fries are awesome and there's ice cream next door. I wish they'd ditch the captain crunch coatings - kinda weird to have a sweet coating on savory foods but there are other things to order. They don't always have it but when they do fish and chips, it's amazing. Go early and beat the dinner rush. read more

Best burger stop in western Mass!! Jeff's amazing local burgers are only available here at the Truck from April through October so go while you can. This is also one of the only Locals to offer their super creamy mac'n'cheese solo, a must try (though my kids may argue that the smoked Gouda mac'n'cheese bites with chipotle mayo are even better !) Phenomenal veggie burgers - we love ours with caramelized onions & blue cheese, fries in the side. Afterward, grab some sweet ice cream next door at the fabulous Village Green where you can also buy some healthy flowers & plants. We our town! read more

Fries were great as was the mac and cheese. Our burgers tasted like propane. By that I mean you couldn't taste the beef, only the propane from the grill it was cooked on! Seriously! I expected a moderate burger for $8...I didn't expect anything gourmet but eww...it was just nasty. The staff is very nice and the outside seating was really nice. They have a pebbled/graveled space which was extremely difficult for folks with walkers to maneuver. There's also large logs surrounding the seating area which is not at all friendly to those with mobility issues. Why the 1 star review? Their parking lot is a freaking disaster! NOTHING IS MARKED OR DELINEATED so its one big cluster fudge. People triple park constantly as its total chaos. Heck, it was so confusing that I did it too without even realizing i had done it. We watched car after car blocking people in. Shoot, all they need to fix the problem is 3 sets of posts and some rope to define a double row if parking. $60 bucks tops at Home Depot and problem solve but I guess they don't give a damn. read more

First off I'm a BBQ critic and this was my first time here. I've heard amazing good things about their burgers but as much as I wanted one, had to stick to my deal and try their BBQ stuff. Got their 3 meat Combo, Brisket-Ribs-Pulled Pork w/ Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, Cajun Corn and Cole Slaw. In a nutshell some things were excellent and some were just pretty good. Good portion of food though. Ice cream sold at the little garden center right there but they only take cash. Brisket is super tender! Perfect type of texture for me, very juicy, I know not everyone likes that style but hey. But slathered in sauce and not much flavor to the actual meat. So unfortunately it loses a lot of points there. Pulled Pork. Slathered again, booo. Didn't even have the option of no sauce because it's one of dem slow cooker in a sauce type deals. Which is all good and fine for most people but I just find it offensive to slather any meat with any sauce unless it NEEDS it, but you need to be the judge of that every time. Pork was shredded very well though, not too much fat. And the fact that they went with a honey mustard flavor instead of a regular BBQ sauce ... 10 points! good job. Ribs were HOT and very flat. Not a lot of meat on the bone but usually that means the meat has more flavor. Smoked Almost Perfectly! Not too much Redness, Not Too much Rub but a Great Rub! Meat doesn't fall off the bone too easily which is also a great sign of good Ribs. But SLATHERED AGAIN! Fortunately they didn't slather all the ribs so I was able to eat me some good meat without the sauce. Not to say the sauce was bad either, it was fine. Baked Beans had kind of a Habanero element to them. Orangey zing, can't really put my finger on the spice but the sauce was almost like a sweet and sour taste but made from actual fruits and veggies, if that makes any sense. Very enjoyable! Cajun Corn! Very Surprising! I Likey. Garlicky! Kind of reminds me of a sea food type side dish Cole Slaw is SUPER shredded, barley looked like Cole slaw. All white, typical Cole slaw taste, almost looked like Snow. Some corn bread too but nothing even worth remembering. Mac and Cheese looked Awesome! Tasted ....... Okay. White Cheddar goo and black pepper. It was still good but I'm hunting for some real good stuff here. You'll probably like it. read more

Local Burgy is a welcome addition to the area. Their pulled pork, brisket, and sides (fries, onion rings, Mac and cheese bites, and slaw) are outrageously good. I lived in several southern US cities and have had some fine barbecue. Not many places in New England serve excellent barbecue. Local Burgy does. In MA we're about 30 minutes away, but the food is worth the drive. The outdoor seating is great as well. Added bonus is the next door Nursery and Ice Cream Stand. Oh, almost forgot to mention the Lobster Rolls, I can't eat shellfish, but most of the people that I've brought there have ordered the Lobster Rolls and rave about the quality and the bang for the buck. read more

Wonderful little roadside stand. We came at 4:30 on a Monday evening, no waiting. Quick friendly service, nice BBQ menu, good food. I had the pulled pork sandwich, my wife a delicious cheeseburger. Local Burgy is a phenomenal little food establishment that my girlfriend and I began frequenting in the summer/fall of 2019 and we've been hooked ever since. We live about 45 minutes away from Local Burgy but the drive is always completely worth it and then some. The staff have always been ultra friendly and super attentive of the cleanliness of the tables especially during these pandemic times. Our most recent visit which took place yesterday, 4/27/21, was more of the same. The woman who was working the ordering line and delivering food to tables was clearly swamped but she was still very friendly and was doing a great job being attentive to all that was going around her. As for the food, the main attraction...its simply amazing. I basically always get the BBQ brisket cheese curd fries because they're to-die-for. The mac and cheese bites are delectable; all the burgers I've tried are fresh, taste awesome are always well cooked. The BBQ, while not a huge selection, is always high quality along with the freshness of their veggies. Also I should shoutout that they're seafood options are also very fresh and taste great. Overall, Local Burgy is an easy 5 out of 5. Its quaint, easy to find and their is plenty of seating (most uncovered outdoors) and some of which is covered. This is a perfect bite after cool splash in the falls! Cap'n Crunch Chicken Tenders grab your attention right away. As a pitman myself I was pleased to know that They take the membrane off of the ribs so that you can get the flavor of the ribs all the way through. I would say maybe adding a sweet tea to the barbecue area would be a good idea and a lemonade they just go together. Overall, It was a great time cute outdoor space there's a porta potty there's an ice cream place next-door at the garden center and a lovely Brooke running alongside you're sitting space and I got some interesting french fry mash ups going on. Out of business. Service was terrible a week ago before they closed their doors. The musicians they hired was awful and way too loud.

I live almost an hour and a half away and I've made the ride out twice in the last month . Some of the best chicken tenders I've had anywhere ever . Who ever thought of captain crunch is a genius the sweetness mixed with the buffalo sauce is delightful . The burger I had was great , I have also tried the fries with brisket / pulled pork and my friend raved about the lobster roll . Service was always friendly and fast . My favorite BBQ place, plus it's all outdoor seating so I love it even more (there are covered seats too if you like that sort of thing). The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite if I had to pick one. I literally ride or drive an hour to come here I like it so much, which I don't mind when I'm on the motorcycle because it's in the middle of a nice riding area too. Next time I would ask for no sauce, because you can add your own, and the brisket was sooooo good it didn't need any sauce. Pulled pork comes with a mustard sauce, which I love, being from NC. Stopped in on a chilly day riding the motorsickles with the girls. I had the Mac and Cheese with the brisket and a side of beans, the kid had a burger with a big s onion ring on it and we shared sweet potatoe fries. The brisket was great and the Mac and Cheese was alright, the beans needed a little help, the fries were great and my daughters burger was decent. Nice outside atmosphere with plenty of parking. One of my new favorite summertime spots! I'd been here before, but I went recently with my boyfriend for the first time in a few years, and it was a home run! I got the mahi mahi fish tacos, which were breaded with their famous Cap'n Crunch breading, with a delicious mango salsa and coleslaw, and it was out of this world! My boyfriend got the Cap'n Crunch chicken tenders which he loved, and we shared some of their hand cut fries which were also amazing. I think what we liked the most about this spot though, was the peacefulness and chill vibe. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, and it was nice to be in a less stressful and busy environment up in the fresh air of Haydenville than some of our normal spots in Northampton and Hadley. The tables were super cute and overall I'd definitely recommend local burgy if you're looking for some fresh, good food in a relaxed outdoor environment away from the hustle and bustle. read more

One of the best BBQ eats I've encountered in a long, long time! I have only tried the ribs. Fall off the bone - dry rub perfection. Yeah btw. The lobster rolls. Holy!!! 19.00 w homemade French fries. All crab meat. No filler. Beyond impressed. My only comparison would be "The Rub" in Manhattan which has now been closed for many of years. Burgy still surpasses in every way. I love the fact that it's a pop up eatery during the warmer months. Very casual, yet they take their food very seriously. Absolutely no complaints. If you feel like having dessert there is a great place adjacent to the restaurant. Home made hibiscus teas, and a plethora of amazing homemade ice cream.
