I have gone to them for over 3 years now…read more I KNOW he is a pain in the a** sometimes but the team has taken great care of him regardless. The staff does occasionally get restless with his barking, but that's mainly because he hates being alone. I work from home, so he's almost never alone. One thing I will suggest to any dog owner that has attachment issues and/barking issues, please consider giving them CBD/hemp oil to ease the stress on these groomers. I've been suggested trazodone, which I consider a pretty aggressive step, but it does get to a point where as an owner you need to be considerate of the people taking care of your dog. I am well aware my dog is not easy to take care of, but I hope this review reflects an honest appreciation for their effort and kindness to Toto. Toto is a Greenland Husky / Shepherd mix, and I get the complete package of Dog Grooming which includes deshed, bath, extra brushing, nail trim, and whatever else is listed on their page. For owners with dogs that shed, this is the place to take care of that. Cheers.

She listens to any specific needs for your pet and accommodates them with patience and professionalism. My pug looked and felt so much better afterward. She is professional, patient, and does beautiful work. Even with the difficult parking, City Dog is absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended!

After seeing on social media advertising of this groomer, I felt the urge to secure an appointment instead of going to my previous Pom's groomer. And I am very very very happy with the end results! Location is downtown, there is a small parking lot but usually full - has with narrow spots and hard to get into since surround streets are one-way busy streets. I recommend circling and parking on 10th Ave for less of hassle. Fabiola is fabulous! She was so sweet, caring, attentive, and does an amazing job cutting fur. She doesn't rush each grooming and takes her time for a very quality cut. She also has a Pomeranian which made my experience feeling better because she knew exactly how to cut their fur. We even had conversations about Pomeranians and everything about our dog care life. My Pomeranian looks so beautiful and smelt wonderful when I picked her up. I asked for a trim, clean up the buttox area, and do cut the paws (like cat paws). She also knows how Pom fur is suppose to look like and she rounded out all the areas needed AND brought in the fur around the waist to give my Pomeranian a cinched look. I was mainly interested in a wash, and regular grooming, but after the conversation, I agreed to face framing and a mild haircut, and I'm so glad I did! She was thoughtful in this respect, & was attentive to our dog. Kristan was very kind to our lovely pet, was personable & attentive when we spoke on the phone, & was very accommodating with our baby as to having him at their dog day care center. On one night, our dog looked that he was not feeling well, & Kristan made a wise decision to have her staff member get our pet to a nearby pet hospital to get seen, after a few hours, baby was okay, & same staff member returned our sweet one to the dog club. Our sweet baby had trouble walking & was slipping on their smooth floor, & Kristan made sure to get some dog booties to fit his four legs to help to make him comfortable & to make him feel at ease with his walking, & this made a big difference on him. It was also great to get additional information and speak with the manager. I could really tell she cares about the dogs that come here and she made us feel at home. Passing by I had always seen the two play areas facing the sidewalk but had no idea they had a few more in the back. I like how the dogs can be in the front and people watch out the large windows but also decompress in the back. The kennel area for overnights was also well-kept and organized. Also pleasantly surprised at each dog's locker and the staff's thorough physical checks of each dog and logging of their daily activities. I would say the only thing I had an issue with was logging into the webcam on my phone but seems to work on a computer. Also you can tell they use bleach from the smell but that is a good sign that they keep things sanitary. Other than that my dog seemed to enjoy his time there and we bought one of the packages so we will be back.

When I came to pick Gigi up, he kindly came out to bring Gigi out! I also had Winston, (Gigi's bestie) with me since Winston was with us overnight for a pupsleepover! At the salon, they sell treats, dog clothing, dog bed, dog necklaces and shoes, and our fave, the dog cologne by Hydra USA! Logan used Forever Fresh on Gigi and it smelled amazing! I returned a week after to purchase it. There are many other amazing colognes too to choose from. Natashya and Randy assisted me at the front desk and they were so kind and welcoming! We will be back in the future and will also support at the new location! P.S. Parking - street parking with meters. There is a small lot on the left of the salon but I am unsure if those belong to the other businesses or if anyone can park. It's pretty easy though to find parking.

They are two very spoiled girls! A few steps into the store was a big display of homemade (organic, I think) dog cookies. They were made with all natural ingredients such as sweet potato. We picked up two each for the doggos. Two Halloween themed and two ice cream themed, a cone and a bar. When we arrived home the dogs sniffed out the treats right away. Ozzy is a smaller dog with small teeth so we like to break her treats into smaller pieces. Holy crap! The Haloween dog bone cookies were hard as rocks! I had to chop them with a knife and it took some effort! T.J. is a big dog so she had no problem devouring hers. I can't speak to the grooming, but the variety of treats, toys and accessories for pets was impressive. A little on the pricey side, but that is to be expected in this type of bougie pet stor.

Until now, we hadn't had any major issues. Today, we had an appointment specifically for the rabies and parvo vaccines. After we got home, our dog vomited five times in a row. We called the clinic, and they had us come back in, where he was given two more injections to address the side effects. While on the way back, I reviewed the invoice and noticed that four vaccines had been administered, not just the two we had scheduled. When I asked why this wasn't communicated, the response was, "Next time, clarify which vaccines you want when you check in." I had already done that. The appointment was booked for two specific vaccines, and I clearly mentioned both at check-in. I was then told they automatically give all due vaccines unless otherwise instructed. If that's their policy, it was never clearly explained to me and I plan to review our past vaccination records to verify the vaccines were actually due. To top it off, we were charged $82 for the extra shots to counter the side effects caused by their lack of communication, bringing the total cost of today's visit to over $300. This visit left us feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and a refusal to take ownership of mistakes cost them our trust and our continued business.

I felt like she listened to our concerns and gave sound, reasonable advice for our elderly girl. The prices were very reasonable to me. Especially after visiting a recent vet we didn't like at Poway for 1 thing and being charged $200 more than we paid today despite addressing multiple complaints today. They were also quite transparent with their prices online. I actually liked our vet visit today rather than leaving stressed and dissatisfied. I am planning to switch our other dog's care over to here too once she's due for her annual visit. We have moved around a lot in the 13 years I've had my dog and this is in my top 2. I'm so glad I found this new vet near me!

I just want to thank Emma for having such an amazing and perfect environment for my children at her pet spa (Ellie Doberman, Lally Siberian husky, Diva Pomeranian, and Leo bulldog) and my dog /cat owner friends loves it too! it's been 4 years already and my dogs love this place even thought they hate to shower, they get super nervous, it makes Emma's job harden than it already is, but she never gives up ! Thank you for being so kind and professional. Le ponche pet spa is a small business where you can have direct contact with the owner and make sure your dogs,cats are safe. Gladys was very helpful with reworking my appointment to an earlier time that was convenient for me. She was very sweet and the place seems very loving. She cut my Cairn Terrier exactly the length I wanted, and did a great job about making sure he was all one length, even the ears, beard, and tail. She did a flea treatment on him which was great because our neighbors have been battling fleas. This will definitely be my new place! And cheap too! read more

I love this place! They treat my fur baby so good my dog is not very friendly and doesn't like everyone but he loves the groomers there he won't even let me give him a bath only if I take him there I also think my dog enjoys hanging out with all the other dogs there it's like playtime for him since it's a cage free environment pricing is good and affordable. I took my puppy in for her first grooming experience! They treated her so amazing she smelt so amazing I was worried to take her a bath myself since she got a rash on her skin .. but her skin rash already looks better with the products they use , they trimmed her nails and she didn't even flinch I was so scared to hurt her and do it myself ! I really love this place! I've told Gladys she can never leave as no one else would put up with my neurotic, difficult little chihuahua mix. She was a rescue dog and gets upset and snaps if anyone tries to touch her - but with Gladys she's good! And she comes back looking great and smelling good! Just moved to San Diego and needed a groomer for my cocker spaniel, looked on yelp and chose this one....a GREAT decision. He no longer looks like my dog. I have been taking my dog here for number of years but this incident had left me seriously concerned and disappointed in their craft as well as customer service. The quality of the grooming was extremely poor. His coat was cut unevenly across his torso and legs, his ears were trimmed unevenly, and the overall finish looked rushed and unprofessional. To make matters worse, he didn't even seem clean afterward. It honestly felt like he either wasn't bathed at all or was washed with only water, without proper grooming shampoo. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of customer service. I called the store manager multiple times and was repeatedly promised a callback that never came. After waiting seven days, I finally reached someone who claimed to be store manager, only to be told that I could bring my dog back to have the grooming "fixed" but I would have to pay again, initially offered 15% discount but later increased to 50%. Charging me another $70 to correct a grooming job that they ruined is completely unreasonable. Since my dog's hair was already cut far too short, I don't even understand how they expected to fix it. This entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will never take my dog back to this location, and encourage other dog owners to carefully consider the risk before trusting Dirty Dogs Torrey Hills with their pets.

They did such a great job, keeping his coat as long as possible, getting the mats out and conditioning his hair. He looks perfect and he is softer than ever!! Will absolutely be back. Sometimes you get a super thorough bath and brush out but sometimes they don't brush her out very well (it's very apparent, especially when they don't brush the hair on her nose ridge -those tight curls plastered to her face). I know it's a grooming school so I get it. It's ok. But this week's brush out was sooooo nice and she is still sooo fluffy that I wanted to recognize that person and say thank you!!!! Thank you!!!!! Oh also, to Sarah, the new front desk person, you are super awesome and very attentive. Keep up the great work!

However, everything worked out since I've been wanting to ger her groomed by Logan for more than a year now! I first heard of Gabriel Feitosa's Grooming Salon through Instagram at least 3 years ago. And finally... we got to go! Prepare your dogs vaccination records. :) Bring them before or on the grooming day. When you arrive, you will fill out a simple questionaire with basic info. They'll ask the usual.. what style groom you have in mind! I like my dog to have the typical teddy bear cut. :) So cute! Keep the eyelashes etc. It took a few hours (as expected) and I was sooooo happy with Gigi's groom by Logan! Logan is so detail-oriented and sooo nice! When I came to pick Gigi up, he kindly came out to bring Gigi out! I also had Winston, (Gigi's bestie) with me since Winston was with us overnight for a pupsleepover! At the salon, they sell treats, dog clothing, dog bed, dog necklaces and shoes, and our fave, the dog cologne by Hydra USA! Logan used Forever Fresh on Gigi and it smelled amazing! I returned a week after to purchase it. There are many other amazing colognes too to choose from. Natashya and Randy assisted me at the front desk and they were so kind and welcoming! We will be back in the future and will also support at the new location! P.S. Parking - street parking with meters. There is a small lot on the left of the salon but I am unsure if those belong to the other businesses or if anyone can park. It's pretty easy though to find parking.

Salon Beysha figured it out - it was from firestick, a succulent that secretes a milky sap that can seriously burn your dog! Salon Beysha took such good and gentle care when grooming and had great recommendations for care. They went above and beyond to help us. And my pup loves going to the salon! She is always happy and calm when I pick her up. AND Salon Beysha gives us treats and a pretty bouquet of flowers from a local florist when picking up. This is a first class, supremely excellent groomer who really cares about our pups!

Although my dog initially put the brakes on when she was going to the back room for her bath, you would have no idea as she came out, looking gorgeous with her new pink bow on saying goodbye to her new BFF. Although she is an American Bulldog with short hair, they did an excellent job deshedding her! Her white fur was never whiter. They cleaned her teeth, ears, and nasty eye stains. Such a sweet couple run this shop. Get on their books for an appointment because as you know these spots fill up quickly.
